Unfortunately the room I had overall was dirty and had really poor hygiene and cleanliness levels - The Bathroom and shower were disgusting - I very politely and nicely asked the hotel to clean the Shower and Bathroom Areas - They did but not to a great level and it was still quite dirty - Apart from the cleanliness of the Rooms - Overall and mainly due to the fabulous Smiling Staff the Hotel is a great choice and only 5 minutes walk to the beach and nearby Amenities đđźđŤśđźđŻ...."

"Great pool, clean part of the beach, close enough to walk to lots of cafes and shops. We booked as a family on one booking but were told at check-in we would have to stay in separate areas of the hotel⌠this was very disappointing as we had requested rooms close together. Manager wasnât that friendly when we asked to change room to be closer together.
Most staff working at resort were friendly and it was clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others."

"The hotel is a bit old but kept in good conditions. Itâs super clean and the staff are very nice! Right in the middle of everything and in front of the beach with a nice reef you can go snorkeling and find beautiful fish. Will stay again for sure!"

"We had a fabulous stay at Chaweng Cove, the staff can't do enough to help and appease you, location is perfect away from chaweng strip which is very busy.
Breakfast was excellent fresh eggs cooked anyway you prefer, beach is narrow but we loved the big waves and lazing on the loungers, if you really want to get a lounger by the pool area get up early as they are all gone by let say the older generation don't know why you want to sit by a pool all day can do that anywere. Trips we like the Ethical elephant sanctuary which was nice and you feed the elephants and get loads of pictures. Zipwire experience was great fun 9 different zip line but go early as it gets very busy later in the day"

"I was placed in a room that overlooked the staff entrance so had the noise of them chatting on breaks and coming and going on their scooters so was a bit noisy. The phone in the room wasnât connected, so just a prop I guess? The fridge defrosted and stopped working. They replaced this but with a European plug (using my only adaptor). Turns out that the plug port had blown so I had to lose some food and find another socket in the room (could not supply me with a replacement adaptor). The teaspoon was dirty and I had to ask to have a tv provided. The shower wouldnât work hot. The pressure of the hot water wasnât enough to keep the valve to feed the shower, open. On arrival I used the âluggage storageâ which was just an area where everyone dumped their luggage (open plan next to reception) when I came back to check in, my rucksack wasnât there. It was erroneously taken with another guests luggage. My passport and cash/cards were enclosed so luckily they managed to locate it. The hotel is a bit dilapidated and needs attention. Overall the staff are great and hard workers, the owner clearly lets the place down."

"Celes Samui is a great hotel in a lovely, quiet, and relaxing spot â just a 10-minute walk from Fishermanâs Village. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable, and the location is fantastic. The restaurant food was delicious and breakfasts were very good.
The beds are quite firm, which may not suit everyone, though the bedding itself was very good.
The staff experience was mixed. Some were absolutely wonderful â especially the girl with the short dark hair at reception, who was friendly and helpful every day, along with the restaurant staff and the guys on the front gate. However, others werenât as friendly, and at times even came across as aggressive. Check-in and check-out werenât overly welcoming, and one housekeeper was very abrupt when I asked for extra towels and refused to leave until I gave her two towels which I didnât actually have!
The beach is beautiful to look at, but after about a metre in, the bottom is slimy, which made swimming less enjoyable. Because of this, we left for a few days to enjoy Lamai, which has a much more breathtaking beach. Itâs a short cab ride away.
All in all, I would still recommend Celes Samui â itâs a beautiful and peaceful place to stay with clean rooms and excellent food. But I didnât find the staff friendliness as consistent as other reviewers have described, which was a bit disappointing."

"Fast check in. Room available early. House keeping to the highest standards. Safe for children and kids club is one the was made with kids in mind first rather than an add on later. Much entertainment included, film nights with pop corn stands and buffets, neon disco, and buffet breakfast with a wide variety of international food and treats however, this list is not limited. Special requests were always met and exceeded my expectations. The location is directly on the strip of Fishermanâs Village, and close to CoCoTams where there is a fire show each night. To Chewang area, it is a 15 minute taxi/tactic ride. VIP taxi outside resort cost 500tbh (âŹ6) for 1 adult and 1 child. Finally, the nights sleep was bliss. I wish I could have brought home the pillows."

"Amazing place with the wonderful staff (kind,helpful,friendly and always smile on the face).Welcoming delicious coconut ice cream include!I booked the room with the ocean view - amazing view,comfortable,luxury one.Hotel is super clean.The breakfast was always fresh including the fresh tropical fruits,drinks etc.Also the hotel has the restaurant - prepared always the fresh local and non local food.Rhe hotel has also clean and nice swimming pool,privete beach witch is just down the stairs.The hotel also offers free towels for the beach,no need to bring your own.The Fisherman village is also not far away.Around this place you can take the taxi or ask the hotel staff and visit places around like Big Buddha etc. I fully recommended!!!"

JJarredCHItâs a very nice resort little far up in the mountains up a narrow road quite dodgy in the heavy rains we experienced during our stay. The rooms are great I would of liked to see them give us some toothbrushes. The staff are really kind and helpful. Overall pleasant experience . Incredible view from your room.

From the moment we arrived at Marasca, we knew we were in for something special. The resort is very well-secured at the entrance, giving us peace of mind right away. The front office team was simply superbâfriendly, efficient, and attentive in just the right way.
Our porter was quick to assist with our luggage, no fuss, no waitâjust seamless service. Although early check-in wasnât available when we arrived, the hotelâs app made all the difference. Through the app, we could explore the resort, make requests, and track our room status. Eventually, we received a notification that our room was readyâsuch a convenient system!
The room itself? Immaculate! Spotless and thoughtfully designed with a massive bed, a sparkling clean shower area, a cozy separate seating space, and an automated toilet that lifts the cover for you. No-touch toilet seat? Thatâs a huge bonus!
We were also greeted with a delightful welcome basket in the room, packed with special drinks, snacks, and even a handwritten postcard by the General Manager. It was such a warm and personal touchâitâs hard not to fall in love with the place instantly.
We did try the spa, and while itâs on the pricier side, the service and facilities were absolutely worth every pennyâtop-notch from start to finish.
Cabanas, the beach club at Marasca, is another highlight. Ultra-chilled vibes, beautifully designed with lush greenery, comfy furniture, and a view that opens right up to Chaweng Beach. It was the perfect place to unwind.
Breakfast? Impressive. A great mix of Western and Asian dishes, plus a healthy spread of salads, pastries, yogurt, juices, and smoothies. The little touches like free healthy shots in the morning and ice cream in the afternoon truly made our stay even more enjoyable!
Marasca also offers daily activities for guests, so youâll never run out of things to do.
To sum it all up: this is, hands down, the best hotel Iâve ever stayed in. Huge shoutout to the amazing teamâMo, Tony, Ja, Chet, Jenny, Puppup, Andy, Pui, Golf, and the rest whose names I canât recall. Your teamwork and hospitality were unforgettable.

Its proximity to various restaurants, shops, and local attractions makes it an ideal base for exploring the area. Being able to walk everywhere is a huge plus and adds an element of relaxation to the vacation experience.
Staff: One of the standout features of the resort is its staff. They are not only efficient, ensuring everything runs smoothly, but also genuinely friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile. This level of service greatly enhances the overall stay.
Room Views: Opting for a room on the third floor is highly recommended as it offers scenic views. While the first and second floors might lack these views, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms remain commendable. Bed and pillows were awesome!!
Pool Area: The infinity pool is a highlight, providing a luxurious and serene environment to relax, swim, or simply enjoy the sun. This well-maintained area is made even more enjoyable by the fun and friendly pool and bar staff. Beach and Swimming Conditions: While the beach itself is beautiful and great for daytime relaxation, the water level often remains below one meter, making it impossible to swim in the ocean. This shallow water issue is prevalent across most of Chaweng Beach and might disappoint those looking forward to ocean swimming.

VViktorLocation: you need to immediately understand that you will need transport. There are a couple of cafes within walking distance, but we didnât go to them, there werenât many people there either, except that a couple of times we saw a few farangs having breakfast. Report offers delivery to and from the beach during certain hours. I donât remember the price: either free, or for a symbolic fee, very low. They also offered to order breakfast and have it delivered to your villa: itâs certainly more expensive than in a regular cafe, but still affordable. We did not use this service, since we would have to plan breakfast time in advance (why?). The beach... we stayed during the daytime low tides, so I canât say anything good about the sea, but the beach itself is clean and almost deserted.
Surprises: we booked a villa with three bedrooms and a living room + a swimming pool. When looking at the photos of the rooms (at the time of booking), I could not understand the location of the room and also could not understand the privacy of the pool. Will the pool be ours alone or will it have to be shared with guests from some other villa. I even looked around on Google Maps, but still didnât fully understand it. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised that this very villa consists of two separate houses between which there is a swimming pool (not small, but medium in size). One house consists of two bedrooms with separate entrances and separate bathrooms, and the other house consists of a huge living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom + 2 bathrooms. Grandiose! Another patio.
Of the minuses: not very stable wi-fi, TV is brooding. That's all. Air conditioners also do not cool as quickly as we would like, but this is the fault of the building design. A huge area of ââglazing which is made of single wood. If in the future we install normal aluminum structures with double-glazed windows, it will be possible to achieve a better effect from air conditioners + save on electricity and improve sound insulation. However, air conditioners do their job quite well. It was almost always quiet.
Overall everything is ok. This place is worth the money. The owner, Lana, is very friendly and speaks perfect Russian.

ZZ&HMy wife and I chose this hotel to celebrate our anniversary, and looking back, Iâm so glad we did. The free and varied water activities, the friendly and patient staff (almost all of whom speak excellent English), and the simple yet delicious food left a lasting impression on me. From start to finish, there was hardly anything to be dissatisfied with.
We stayed for two nights in different types of rooms. On the second night, we stayed in a pool villa. The initial room we were assigned didn't have the view we saw in the website photos, so my wife asked if we could switch rooms. To our surprise, the staff checked briefly and then upgraded us for free to a room with the best sea view weâve ever seen. I can hardly describe how beautiful the view was with my limited vocabulary. My wife and I both agreed that we will definitely come back, maybe for a week or even a month next time. If you want to quietly enjoy the beach, sea view, and a private pool, choosing this place will not disappoint you.
By the way, I really liked the welcome drink at the beginning and the scented sachet they gave us when we left. The coconut-flavored snacks in the lobby were also very delicious; I would grab one almost every time I passed by.

The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, and the property itself was stunning, with beautiful landscaping and plenty of areas to relax. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, offering a wide variety of high-quality options.
However, there are a couple of downsides. The beach line is quite narrow, and the sand is relatively coarse, though this seems to be a characteristic of the entire North Coast. Additionally, the rooms are designed in a way that you can hear your neighbors, as they are separated by connecting doors. This can occasionally affect privacy and quietness.
Overall, despite these minor issues, everything else was perfect, and I would still highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay!
