"I recently stayed at Celes Samui and had a truly lovely experience. As a solo traveler, I found it to be the perfect spot for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The hotel is situated in a quieter part of the island, but it’s just a 15-20 minute walk from Fisherman’s Village, with a convenient shuttle service provided twice a day for guests.
The hotel itself is beautifully equipped, featuring three pools, a spa, gym, and on-site restaurants, along with direct access to a tranquil beach. My room was spotless, and the facilities were well-maintained. The staff were incredibly personable and professional, always accommodating my requests with ease.
If you’re looking for somewhere quiet to unwind, I highly recommend Celes Samui. It’s also practical, with a 7/11 nearby for essentials, and Chaweng’s lively nightlife is just a 15-minute drive away. I would definitely stay here again!"

"I had bad experiences in this hotel. Staff hotel tried to open my room at 6 am in the morning!!!! He knock the door too loud and use a spare key to open the door. I heard this happen and shocked that ***! is he doing. He said it was wrong room??? WHAT? but it was early in the morning!!
The next day, a housekeeper open my room again without knock the door and don’t see that I put ”No Distrub” sign hang in door knob. (This was around 6pm) I was resting. She said she forgot to bring me a new towel when she clean the room…
This was not impress at the hotel staff at all. I have to review my experience and I will not go back to this hotel again anymore."

Only downside was some of the other guests were very noisy. Like all night partying on three occasions. In the end we asked to move rooms and the hotel staff were fine with it, but worth mentioning as it definitely affected our stay here."

"I booked the pool villa. The villa itself is gorgeous and clean. The space is huge! View from the bedroom in the morning is lovely.
However it was the rainy season so I couldn’t check out the gym. The breakfast buffet was normal. Location wise it was far from the main beach but they provide shuttle van at some certain timings."

My recent stay at Eldor’s villa in Koh Samui was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Eldor’s professionalism and warmth made us feel instantly welcome. He arranged a seamless airport transfer, ensuring we arrived safely at the villa without any hassle. Upon arrival, Eldor greeted us with genuine hospitality, even helping with our luggage.
The villa itself was **huge and fully equipped**—spacious, immaculate, and beautifully designed. We stayed in the **Honeymoon Villa** on the second floor, which offered breathtaking views and total privacy. Eldor took the time to thoroughly explain every facility in the villa, including the **fully functional kitchen** with a microwave, stovetop, and other cooking essentials—perfect for preparing meals at home. The attention to detail was impressive: complimentary toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, and toothbrushes), fresh towels, and even pool towels were provided.
The highlight was undoubtedly the **private infinity pool**—large, clean, and overlooking the sea. Whether swimming at sunrise or under the stars, the pool was pure bliss, with no disturbances and complete seclusion. The villa’s air conditioning was powerful (a lifesaver in the tropical heat!), and the floor-to-ceiling glass doors in the living room allowed us to admire the pool and ocean views while lounging indoors.
What amazed me most was the **flawless cleanliness**—not a single insect in sight! The entire property was meticulously maintained, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Eldor’s villa surpassed even high-end chain hotels in terms of quality, privacy, and value for money.
Without a doubt, this was my **best villa experience ever**, and I’ll enthusiastically recommend it to friends.

ZZ&HMy wife and I chose this hotel to celebrate our anniversary, and looking back, I’m so glad we did. The free and varied water activities, the friendly and patient staff (almost all of whom speak excellent English), and the simple yet delicious food left a lasting impression on me. From start to finish, there was hardly anything to be dissatisfied with.
We stayed for two nights in different types of rooms. On the second night, we stayed in a pool villa. The initial room we were assigned didn't have the view we saw in the website photos, so my wife asked if we could switch rooms. To our surprise, the staff checked briefly and then upgraded us for free to a room with the best sea view we’ve ever seen. I can hardly describe how beautiful the view was with my limited vocabulary. My wife and I both agreed that we will definitely come back, maybe for a week or even a month next time. If you want to quietly enjoy the beach, sea view, and a private pool, choosing this place will not disappoint you.
By the way, I really liked the welcome drink at the beginning and the scented sachet they gave us when we left. The coconut-flavored snacks in the lobby were also very delicious; I would grab one almost every time I passed by.

From the moment we arrived at Marasca, we knew we were in for something special. The resort is very well-secured at the entrance, giving us peace of mind right away. The front office team was simply superb—friendly, efficient, and attentive in just the right way.
Our porter was quick to assist with our luggage, no fuss, no wait—just seamless service. Although early check-in wasn’t available when we arrived, the hotel’s app made all the difference. Through the app, we could explore the resort, make requests, and track our room status. Eventually, we received a notification that our room was ready—such a convenient system!
The room itself? Immaculate! Spotless and thoughtfully designed with a massive bed, a sparkling clean shower area, a cozy separate seating space, and an automated toilet that lifts the cover for you. No-touch toilet seat? That’s a huge bonus!
We were also greeted with a delightful welcome basket in the room, packed with special drinks, snacks, and even a handwritten postcard by the General Manager. It was such a warm and personal touch—it’s hard not to fall in love with the place instantly.
We did try the spa, and while it’s on the pricier side, the service and facilities were absolutely worth every penny—top-notch from start to finish.
Cabanas, the beach club at Marasca, is another highlight. Ultra-chilled vibes, beautifully designed with lush greenery, comfy furniture, and a view that opens right up to Chaweng Beach. It was the perfect place to unwind.
Breakfast? Impressive. A great mix of Western and Asian dishes, plus a healthy spread of salads, pastries, yogurt, juices, and smoothies. The little touches like free healthy shots in the morning and ice cream in the afternoon truly made our stay even more enjoyable!
Marasca also offers daily activities for guests, so you’ll never run out of things to do.
To sum it all up: this is, hands down, the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Huge shoutout to the amazing team—Mo, Tony, Ja, Chet, Jenny, Puppup, Andy, Pui, Golf, and the rest whose names I can’t recall. Your teamwork and hospitality were unforgettable.

The resort’s location is simply breathtaking. Situated on a secluded island off the coast of Koh Samui, Cape Fahn offers a level of privacy and exclusivity that is unmatched. Accessible only by boat, the journey to the island sets the tone for an unforgettable escape from the ordinary.
Upon arrival, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a refreshing welcome drink. The staff’s attention to detail was evident throughout my stay, from the seamless check-in process to the thoughtful gestures that made me feel like a valued guest.
My villa exceeded all expectations. Perched on the edge of the azure sea, it offered panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding islands. The interior design was elegant and refined, with every amenity imaginable to ensure a comfortable and luxurious stay. The private infinity pool and spacious terrace provided the perfect setting for relaxation and contemplation.
Dining at Cape Fahn was a culinary delight. The resort’s restaurants served a variety of gourmet dishes inspired by local flavors, each prepared with precision and creativity. Whether enjoying a romantic dinner under the stars or a leisurely lunch by the pool, every meal was a feast for the senses.
The resort’s facilities were equally impressive. From the infinity-edge swimming pool to the state-of-the-art fitness center, there was no shortage of ways to unwind and rejuvenate. I particularly enjoyed the spa, where I indulged in a blissful massage overlooking the ocean, leaving me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

GGuest UserOverall is this hotel a quite good point to escape.
We had a fantastic garden villa with an huge bathroom.
Everyone was really kind and friendly.
The only thing what they can work on it we would say it should be first of all the service for drinks and food.
Normally you should have a eye for your guests probably if you have a happy hour to going around at the pool desk and the location, to offer the promotion.
Second they have to make better drinks maybe a cocktail staff training should help.
And last but at least they have definitely to work on the service in the waiting time in the restaurant we had to wait more than 1 1/2 hour for Thai food what’s probably is ready in 10 minutes.
Don’t get us wrong it’s gonna be a beautiful hotel and you will have a beautiful stay at Koh Samui.
It just missing few details to make it perfect.

GGuest UserStayed at Chaweng Garden Beach Resort in July for 7 days in a Standard Triple Room in room 125. Although the resort is an older one, as a budget level hotel it has satisfied most of our expectations. The room was large enough, with the building close to ”Sue's Restaurant” and to the main pool and to the beach. Room and bathroom were clean. As we asked for additional pillows in the room, we were provided.
The buildings, villas were surrounded by lush garden, including the restaurant and beachfront, assuring comfortable shadow for those searching for it. The main pool has a comfortable depth, comfortable for swimming/playing, it's water was clean, although we preferred to swim in the sea. Did NOT encounter any jellyfish in the sea during our stay, so do not be afraid from this point of view! Beach towels are provided near the pool.
Breakfast was basically good, although I would suggest to the management to provide beside a single(same) type of ham also some variety of salami. The same would be the case also for cheese, to provide 2-3 types, not only a single one type every day. I guess this would be much appreciated by the westerners who make up the majority of the guests.
Initially we were afraid from load music until late night from the neighboring Ark Bar Beach Club, but our fear was groundless, the lush vegetation absorbed most of the sound, it was barely noticeable.
It was touching seeing how the much respected owner of the resort, Miss Sue, was visiting one or two times every day the area near the restaurant and the beach while greeting ”old” returning guests and entering with them is short conversions.
All in one, I appreciate that Chaweng Garden Beach Resort offers an excellent value for money ratio, and I would definitely return the next time to the same place, hopefully next year!

Plenty of stairs so we ended up helping the porter which was fine but was pretty ugh carrying it up, checking out.
The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in (106) was nice for a short stay. Loved level 2's facilities they have 2 fridges. One for each floor. That was a pleasant surprise.
I didn't see any tissues provided nor toothbrushes.
No hot water in level 1 bathroom. We got caught in a downpour one night, and hairdried ourselves warm after showering again in cold water.
Housekeeping was prompt n thorough everyday. My only one gripe was they switched off the pathway lights after a certain time and personally for someone drunk to come back, stumbling down the stairs is just an accident waiting to happen. I had kids so I was worried about them tripping after coming back from dinner n walking in Chaweng. I just don't think it's safe for the older travellers too.
The breakfast was basic. Order off a breakfast menu.
But overall, for a food nights rest, good bed, ac and wifi.

The above part of the room, such as the table top, the bedside will not be cleaned as long as the air conditioner is empty. Breathing room found a worm two big spiders toilet floor ant hotel is the most terrible is breakfast I have never seen so many flies breakfast from small to large, some of the open-side food at the poolside is not covered with plastic wrap and flies directly You have to keep looking at your own dish, or you have to keep an eye on your own dish. Otherwise, the sliced bread is placed on a shelf against the wall. It is easy to see that the ants are too disgusting to run. There are many flies in the room. The ants are too collapsed. There are only one or two waiters in the room. There is no smile. No smile may be because they are more tired.
