Hotel is well located only 5 mins walk from the modern central Chaweng shopping centre and main street. It is generally quiet, however be aware that the resort next door plays loud music until 10pm (but only seems to be on the weekend). The rooms are a bit outdated but functional. Large TV with cable, kettle and A/C. The beds were rock hard. Asked staff to put a topper but it was very thin so it didn't really help. Staff were very nice and accommodating but the hotel should consider installing better mattresses. Bath also looked very worn and not completely cleaned. Didn't get to use the pool area since it was raining during my stay but it looked quite nice. Overall would stay again, if they upgraded the beds.

Well ... well... I was neutral for my getaway at Mai. The resort is tucked away in a dense forest but adjacent to the beach, so it's an ideal for both jungle enthusiasts and beach lovers. I think the breakfast service could have been done better. There should be a coffee machine and more food options. The pool is tremendous but not super clean. The staff could have been more helpful - not very smiley. Somehow not a five-star quality resort.

The swimming pool faces the sea and is beautiful! Although small, it is very suitable for people like us who swim casually hahaha! The only thing that didn't feel good was that the basic washing facilities and towels were not available, and the sprinkler output was small (fortunately we brought them), but there are kettles and large bath towels for you to go to their pools and private beaches. 3 Breakfast is not bad, milk, yogurt (yoghurt is delicious!) Oatmeal, bread, toast, fruit, drink, and any of the three main meals. If you want a rich breakfast, then ... … In addition, they also provide lunch and dinner services (of course for a fee), but it seems to close at 6pm. 4 Can add an extra bed. I brought my parents to play, just for an extra bed, an extra 450 baht (bed + breakfast) 5 There is a parking lot, and you can rent a motorcycle (it is said to be cheaper than renting outside, I did n’t rent it) 6 Service Great! Basically responsive! I went out for snorkeling that day, and my mom's cellphone fell into the house. I was afraid that someone who cleaned the room might have a problem (sorry, my fault, I shouldn't doubt them ~~), so I asked Ctrip customer service and asked the Thai people to call To the front desk. As a result, people said, rest assured, the mobile phone is on, I said, can I help you keep it, I just agreed! !! Summary A highly recommended resort! Stay here next time! High cost performance! !!

Very considerate service and you can feel the warm hospitality! Nearby a very good location. 7-11, Starbucks and BTS station are all around with 5 mins walk. We will definitely go back again! Btw, trips.com provides a very clear instruction in booking hotels with competitive price. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing! The room was excellent - comfortable bed, huge bath and shower. Had a nice balcony with a sea view which was nice to relax on and watch the sunset. The location is great, right on the beach and close to the lovely street where all the bars and clubs are but still far enough that you can have mixed relaxed beach vibes before making your way to the busier party areas. The staff were the best part about the hotel - the bar staff were so friendly and hospitable. They were chatty and served great drinks, I never had to wait for anything as they came over to check I was ok. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Samui, one of the best hotels I’ve visited in a long time!

Overall I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The beach gets quite narrow when the tide is high but the stuff still manages to put the sunbeds there. The breakfast for a 3 star hotel is really very good. The hotel itself is already a bit old but you pay 3 star and get it. Best of all is the very friendly stuff. From reception, room maid, restaurant, bar and beach all of the stuffs are very friendly and makes you feel comfortable.

The hotel is quite old, has not been updated for more than 10 years. However, it has a traditional Thai flavor (wooden rooms, log floors with holes). The service is good, the staff tries to help. Those who are used to more luxurious accommodation will not be comfortable (noisy air conditioners, old furniture, etc.). But overall the hotel is not bad, very nice area with a swimming pool. Silence.

The hotel is very distinctive, with a typical Thai Southeast Asian style. The room is large and has a swimming pool, which is especially suitable for a flat-bed vacation. The hotel is conveniently located (you can walk to the center). Breakfasts are varied. The entrance to the sea is by steps, the water is clean. There are few people in the sea (more precisely, no one), since Europeans prefer the pool. Nearby there is an opportunity to organize active recreation on the water (sapas, kayaks, scooters, etc.). There are many sun loungers (even when the hotel is fully occupied, 2-3 per person). The rooms in the hotel are large and equipped with everything you need. The only sad moment was the check-in, since there was no room with 2 beds (as originally booked). They actively tried to put us in one ... Since it was December 31 and there were no more options for accommodation on the entire island, we had to insist on our booking and find options on the spot. I do not understand why they immediately refused to provide an extra bed, although this somehow smoothed out the situation (since sometimes you want to sleep at night). Let it not be exactly what I wanted to get for the holiday, but they still found and provided an extra bed in the room.

My stay at this hotel was amazing. Sala offers a commutable 10 minute walking distance to local bars and restaurants while maintaining a serene ambiance shielded from the noise and nightlife of the Chaweng area. I was warned by friends that Chaweng was unfavourable for living due to its proximity to the airport, but the room is well sound proofed and completely silent. I was surprise by the space and depth of the personal pool as it was bigger than the images suggested and offered a great place to swim late at night after a day in the heat and was completely private from the other guests. The food was great. Breakfast was available through delivery or in the restaurant. They high-quality food, coupled with a daily menu offered delightful variations. Staff even ensured my breakfast was delivered before my early check-out, so I was able to catch my departing flight with good timing. The staff were friendly, polite, attentive, and always ready to assist, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. They offered communication via telephone or via message through a downloadable app - so it was easy to communicate any of our needs from the room or on the go. The beachfront pool is a little small and ideal for guests with children, whereas adults can make use of sea-side loungers, free kayak rentals, a great bar and swimming in the sea. In summary, this room offers a perfect blend of convenience, luxury, and tranquility. Whether you're looking to explore the local nightlife or simply unwind in style, it provides an exceptional experience. I hope I can return in the future!
