Excellent
FFuchuFacilities: The facilities are quite comprehensive. A major plus is the in-room smart voice assistant. TV casting was very convenient, and the Wi-Fi was good. The electric toilet in the room was excellent. The only downside was that this room type didn't have a desk.
Cleanliness: Very clean.
Ambiance: The location is very convenient, with a decent range of amenities nearby, including a small night market downstairs. The room was very quiet.
Service: Service was quite good.
Minibar: The variety of complimentary minibar items has been reduced.
The hotel's exterior design is very distinctive. We also received complimentary drinks at the bar upon check-in.

GGuest UserFacilities: 5/5. Excellent! There are tennis courts 🎾 and a golf club right next door.
Environment: The hotel's surroundings are truly beautiful! Very fresh and unique! It's a great place for wellness. Especially their garden rooms, the air quality is just incredible. The rooms are clean, hygienic, and high-class!
Service: Every staff member is polite and greets you every time you come and go.
The hotel breakfast is also delicious and plentiful. It's easy to call a taxi, making it super convenient to find good food. Honestly, it's just so comfortable, I don't want to leave! [Lol][Lol]

GGuest User🌈 I used to always stay at Somerset, but this was my first time at Ascott, and the quality was definitely up to par. The room design was very well thought out, with a living room, bedroom, and bathroom, adding a sense of spaciousness and comfort to my trip. The facilities were excellent – fridge, washing machine, pots and pans, everything you could need. The night view was also beautiful.
🌟 The location is super convenient, with two subway lines right downstairs. It's less than a 30-minute direct ride to Zumiao Temple and Nanfeng Ancient Kiln, and only about 40 minutes to Guangzhou South Railway Station.
🤝 The only minor drawback is that children's breakfast costs extra and cannot be redeemed with Trip.com points. I hope this can be improved.

GGuest UserA perfect experience! Special shout-out to Derrick and Kevin at the front desk for their heartwarming service.
This stay far exceeded my expectations, and the main credit absolutely goes to the two front desk staff members, Derrick and Kevin! From the moment I checked in, both of them displayed extreme professionalism and warmth. They patiently and meticulously answered all my questions, from room type preferences and parking directions to recommendations for local attractions. Their explanations were clear, well-organized, and incredibly thoughtful, without a hint of perfunctoriness.
During my stay, whenever I had a small question and contacted the front desk, Derrick was quick to respond and even proactively followed up on the resolution progress, which put me completely at ease. Kevin, on the other hand, always paid attention to details, actively helped with my luggage, and reminded me about weather changes. These small touches truly showed his attentiveness. Their service was not only professional and efficient but also delivered with genuine warmth, adding a sense of belonging to what could have been an unfamiliar journey.
The hotel's hardware facilities and environment were already good, but with excellent service staff like Derrick and Kevin, the overall experience was elevated significantly! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time and look forward to experiencing their exceptional service once more.

HHenley HungMy main reason for visiting Foshan this time was to see my eighty-something aunt. I chose this hotel because I generally have a good impression of the InterContinental group. The room was great, very clean, and the air conditioning was strong. The toilet worked perfectly – don't laugh, those who get it, get it. The Western breakfast ingredients were genuinely Western; again, don't laugh, the bacon and German sausages weren't just for show, they were the real deal in terms of quality and taste. Personally, I really disliked the TV remote. The hotel should try changing channels themselves, then they'd understand how difficult it is. (Note: This was the case in my room too). If they could fix that small issue, they'd be aiming for a six-star rating.

LLijie5678The hotel is located in Shunde New District. We chose this five-star hotel because it was close to Changlu Tourist Resort, which we planned to visit the next day. If you're looking to shop, this isn't the place for you; it's nearly a 30-minute taxi ride to Huagai Commercial Pedestrian Street. The environment is excellent, right next to Binhe Park. Make sure to book a river view room – you'll get great views of the sightseeing promenade and the river, plus fireworks at night. However, the service was very mediocre. The room was advertised for three people, but they wouldn't provide an extra bed or even an additional blanket. Housekeeping was really poor. Also, the sink was unusually high; you'd need to be around 1.8 meters tall to use it comfortably, which is quite unfriendly for shorter people, especially many Cantonese. During the May Day holiday, they definitely overcharged, with rates between 1200-1500 per night. The value for money was extremely low.

GGuest UserTraveling during the May Day holiday, my family and I spontaneously chose the Hilton Shunde. For the same price, it's far superior to hotels near Fisherman's Wharf, both in terms of service and facilities.
On the day of check-in, the lobby was packed with guests. Sheldon, the hotel's Golden Key Chief Concierge, noticed that there were no higher-tier members waiting. Even though he knew I was only a Blue Card member, he prioritized us and flexibly escorted us to the lounge for an expedited check-in. He really showed great member recognition. He also recommended a restaurant with delicious food that wasn't affected by traffic.
Since getting a taxi during May Day can be difficult at times, and many ride-sharing cars have strong odors, Ms. Siv from the Magic Center recommended a fantastic transportation option: nearby shared e-scooters. They were incredibly convenient!
We will definitely choose Hilton again next time!

QQiu XianI stayed at *Yazi Hotel Foshan* for over 6 days and had a very pleasant experience. The *staff were friendly, polite, and always helpful*. Every day, the housekeeping auntie cleaned the room thoroughly, which I really appreciated.
The *breakfast area offers a lovely view*, and I was also impressed by the thoughtful *afternoon tea and late-night supper* options — a nice touch that made the stay even more enjoyable.
The *only downside* is that there are only two elevators, which can be a bit slow during peak hours. But overall, I'm very satisfied with the service, comfort, and hospitality. Highly recommended!
AAnonymous UserWe booked a family twin room, and the hotel kindly upgraded us to a family suite for free, even throwing in an extra breakfast. However, the hotel breakfast was just so-so – it filled you up but wasn't particularly good. One day, we skipped it and went for dim sum at Huang Dan Ji, which was about a ten-minute walk away. It's a century-old brand, and the food was excellent. The hotel's location is great too, only about a five-minute walk from Jinlong Subway Station, making it convenient to get anywhere. Overall, I'm satisfied.
