Great
RRyanyiiRoom condition: I stayed in a deluxe king-size room, and the space was quite comfortable. The bedding was neatly arranged, and the lighting created a pleasant atmosphere, making me feel relaxed when returning to the hotel at night. Pool: Sufficient for use, open from what seems to be 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, good for a quick swim and workout in the morning or evening. Gym: Equipped with basic strength training machines, treadmills, and exercise bikes. Service: Check-in at the front desk was smooth, and I received the classic DoubleTree welcome cookies upon arrival. Location: Excellent. In the evening, you can walk to CentralWorld, Siam Center, and Siam Square in about 20-30 minutes.

TToni CummingsI had a great stay at the Courtyard Bangkok Sukhumvit 20. Everything was very clean, and the amenities felt modern and well-maintained. One thing I really appreciated was how up-to-date the outlets, adapters, and charging stations were; I had no issues charging or using any of my electronics, which is always a concern for me when traveling to Thailand. The location was incredibly convenient. I was in the city for an event, and the hotel ended up being only about five minutes away, which was a pleasant surprise. It was also no more than 20 minutes from all the other activities and places I wanted to visit. The  bell-staff person who assisted me was especially helpful. He brought my suitcase up with ease, gave me a thorough rundown of the room, and was very kind and professional. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely choose this hotel again the next time I’m in Bangkok.

Great
KkimmaayaI booked this hotel because I was going to a show at the mall across the street. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around with the MRT. There's also a 7-Eleven right at the main entrance, which is handy for picking things up. Inside the room, both the air conditioning and the shower head worked perfectly. The room has a small balcony, so it gets plenty of natural light, and there were no weird smells. Plus, the hangers were long, which was great for hanging clothes to dry. On the downside, the TV signal wasn't very good; shows kept cutting out. The other issue was the small ants. We stayed for five days, and initially, they were just in the bathroom and on the floor. But eventually, they were on the table and even the bed. We didn't even have any food open, so I'm not sure where they came from. This definitely needs improvement.

JJ.A.S.PThis is a fun and quirky place to stay. Clean and tidy with excellent customer service. We were in the 2nd floor and our balcony did not have a view, but this did not bother us as we were either outside or just chilling indoors. The lobby are and the rooftop bar and restaurant is a vibe on its own. I had a mocktail (mango colado - did not like it) and mago sticky rice (this I loved). If you are wanting to go for a swim or do laundry please note this is in the building next to the 7/11 about 3mins away from the hotel. The swim/sauna is free entry, while the selfservice washing is 20bhat, and drying is 10bhat for 7 minutes. Depending on your load you may need to put more coins in until it dries. Please note it would have been nice if ghere was a clothes hanger in the balcony, with the heat the clothes can dry easily. I also loved that we can grab order our food - so if you are on a budget and cannot afford the restaurant food (it is not that expensive though) you can look for more options on grab. However please note you will have to pin the hotel location to the front entrance as it defaults to the back entrance. The MRT is about a 8min walk from the hotel, we struggled getting their the first day but after that it was easy enough changing from MRT to BTS....we ordered grab on days that was too hot and we did not feel like walking. Please note the MRT and BTS are cheaper when you travel longer distances. Overall great place to stay. Clean rooms, helfull people and a wonderful experience.

SSS05Holiday Inn Bangkok: Perfect Solo Weekend Retreat Near Emsphere I recently spent a relaxed long weekend (just over two nights) solo at Holiday Inn Bangkok, right next to Emsphere mall. As an NRI zipping between Hong Kong and Bangkok for work, I needed a hassle-free spot with easy access to shopping, dining, and BTS— this nailed it. Location (5/5): Smack in Sukhumvit's heart, it's a 1-min walk to Emsphere's trendy shops, cinemas, and food scene. BTS Phrom Phong is 5 mins away, making airport runs and city jaunts effortless. No taxi drama in Bangkok traffic! Room & Comfort (4.5/5): My superior room was spotless, modern, and spacious for solo use— king bed was plush, blackout curtains ensured deep sleep despite city buzz. Huge bathroom with rain shower and amenities felt luxurious. Minor nitpick: AC was a tad noisy at night, but earplugs fixed it. Free Wi-Fi was speedy for my work calls. Service & Facilities (4/5): Staff were warm and efficient—check-in was instant, and they upgraded my view gratis. Gym and pool on the 8th floor offered stunning skyline vistas; poolside was quiet for solo unwinding. Breakfast buffet was solid (fresh Thai/Western options), but could use more variety for repeat stays. Value (4.5/5): At ~THB 4,500/night (booked via app), it's a steal for the location and IHG perks. Quiet for a city hotel, ideal for solo travelers avoiding party vibes. Overall: 4.5/5. Highly recommend for short business-leisure trips. Will return!

SSmallduckThe hotel is located in the city center, but quite deep within an alley, though they do offer a shuttle service. The staff provided excellent service; everyone was friendly, smiling, and attentive. The room was clean, and the hotel itself is relatively new. The room layout was good, and it was fully equipped. Personally, I really liked it. There's also a cafe downstairs with good coffee. If I have the chance, I'll definitely stay here again. We checked in late, and the hotel upgraded our room. The room had a microwave, a coffee machine, and all the dishes and utensils you could need. One night wasn't enough; next time I'll stay for two nights. If you're hesitant, I highly recommend it; I personally think it's great.

GGuest UserFacilities: It has everything you'd expect, though the hairdryer is a bit weak. The room feels a bit dim because of the indirect lighting. Cleanliness: The room was quite clean. Service: The front desk staff spoke Chinese and the service was excellent. We arrived at 1:30 PM and they allowed us to check in a bit early, which was really nice! 👍 Environment: I was a bit worried before arriving because many reviews mentioned noise, but it was actually fine. The soundproofing in the room is quite good; it wasn't noisy, and I couldn't hear people talking in the next room. I slept most of the day at the hotel and didn't hear any construction noise.

NNari.I recently spent several nights at the Furama Silom Hotel in Bangkok, and if you are looking for a blend of convenience, space, and local flavor, this property is a solid contender. Located on the bustling Silom Road, the hotel stands as a prominent choice for both leisure travelers and business professionals who want to be in the thick of Bangkok’s financial and nightlife district. Spacious Living in a Prime Location The first thing that struck me about Furama Silom is the sheer size of the rooms. In a city where many modern hotels are trending toward compact ”minimalist” spaces, Furama offers an expansive environment. My room was bright, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that provided a fantastic view of the city skyline. The inclusion of a kitchenette was a thoughtful touch, making it feel more like an apartment than a standard hotel room. The location is undoubtedly the hotel's strongest selling point. It is roughly a 10-minute walk to both the Saint Louis and Chong Nonsi BTS stations, making the rest of the city easily accessible. For those who enjoy exploring on foot, the famous Patpong Night Market, the historic Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, and a plethora of local street food stalls and 7-Eleven stores are just a short stroll away. Rooftop Relaxation and Dining The highlight of the stay was the rooftop swimming pool on the 20th floor. It offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of Bangkok, which is particularly breathtaking at sunset. There is also a poolside bar where you can unwind with a cocktail after a long day of sightseeing. Regarding the breakfast buffet, it served a decent variety of Western and Asian dishes. While the menu stayed relatively consistent each day, the quality was good, and the dining area provided a welcoming atmosphere to start the morning. Service and Hospitality The staff at Furama Silom deserve a special mention. From the concierge to the housekeeping team, the service was warm and professional. Check-in was efficient, and they were always ready to assist with taxi bookings or local recommendations. Their hospitality truly embodies the ”Land of Smiles.” Points for Consideration While my stay was overall very positive, it is worth noting that the hotel has a bit of a ”vintage” feel. Some parts of the interior show their age, with slightly dated carpets and furniture. However, the hotel is clearly undergoing maintenance and renovations to address this, and given the competitive pricing, the value for money remains exceptionally high. Verdict I would recommend Furama Silom Hotel to travelers who prioritize location and space over ultra-modern luxury. It is a practical, comfortable, and friendly base for exploring everything Bangkok has to offer. Whether you are here for a short business trip or a week-long vacation, it provides a reliable and pleasant experience.

GGuest UserIt's about 10-minute walk from Ramkhamhaeng station, and there's 7-Eleven and street food within walking distance, making it a very convenient location. The building across the street also has a 24-hour wash and dry service, which is worth trying.
