"Exceptional Stay at 14 Sathorn – A Hidden Gem for Modern Travelers! I recently spent a few nights at 14 Sathorn, and it was exactly the kind of ”urban oasis” I was looking for. As someone who travels frequently for work and content creation, finding a spot that balances style, comfort, and accessibility can be a challenge—but this hotel truly nailed it. The Perfect Location First off, the location is unbeatable for anyone who wants to avoid the chaotic traffic of central Bangkok while staying perfectly connected. Being just a short stroll from the BTS Wongwian Yai station made my commutes—even late at night to places like Sala Daeng—incredibly smooth and stress-free. It’s the ideal base for exploring the city’s vibrant energy without the noise. A Creator-Friendly Aesthetic The room itself was a pleasant surprise. The minimalist, modern aesthetic is a dream for photography and video shoots—very ”on-brand” for my social media feed. The natural lighting and clean lines provided a sophisticated backdrop for my daily vlogs. More importantly, the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which is a total non-negotiable for me when I need to upload high-quality content on the fly."

Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok

The room was okay, but the amenities felt a bit old. The lobby, however, was absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious. The location is very convenient, with lots of shopping malls nearby. My only dissatisfaction was that I left a tip for the housekeeping staff to fold towel animals, but when I returned, the tip was gone, and no towel animals were folded for us. I was extremely, extremely disappointed! For those planning to visit the Erawan Shrine, I highly recommend staying here. Though, there are some newly built hotels nearby that offer better prices. Still, I'd suggest coming here for afternoon tea; the lobby on the first floor is just too stunning, and I took so many photos. It would be even better if the room amenities could be upgraded, for example, changing the hairdryer to a Dyson and the toilet to a washlet, which would greatly enhance the experience.

The views from this hotel was stunning. Both inside in my room and all around the hotel campus you look directly into the heart of Bangkok and can see a good part of the city. Location wise travelers at this site are close to multiple local hotspots. In my case I enjoyed walking over to the waterfront where I took a river cruise into China town and spent most of my day there. It was pleasant to come back to a quiet room with a charming view after all the exploration and adventure. Inside my room everything was clean and with a touch of modern decoration and color. My bathroom included a spacious tub and my bed was very comfortable under the well regulated room air conditioning. I enjoyed being close to several shopping districts including Central World and Siam Paragon where I ended up walking to the next morning. I very much enjoyed the staff at this site with complements going to the bar crew. Both nights there I spent time enjoying a beer and discussing how local life was for these friendly and energetic folks. On my last morning I took part in the breakfast buffet and I was surprised to see how many options for food were available. Overall this was a great stay that I recommend and would gladly revisit upon my return.

it was an AWESOME STAY but location is a little hard to find at first. overall place was clean and people were friendly! toilet was CLEAAAAN. there is also a communal hairdryer it works pretty well. at night there is a fish auction i think. therefore, walking to 711 at 3am is pretty safe. personally as there is more people there late at night i feel it is safer. it is located beside the fish market so if you're sensitive to smells it might not be suited for you. there is also an ATM nearby. The BTS and pier is also near the hostel therefore transportation is prettty solid. lots of common areas to do your work! rooms are pretty soundproof as well! i did NOT encounter much mosquitos surprisingly! i had a mosquito bite like 5 times throughout my stay. i did not wear insect repellent at all! able to put your own food in the common fridge. shoe locker is also provided! there is also a locker to put all your stuff. there is luggage space but it is in the common area and the door is easily accessible. please do buy a lock for your luggage bedding is GOOD, mattress is GOOD, pillow can get uncomfortable though, not much neck support. a really good seafood buffet located beside the hostel! overall, i would DEFINITELY COME BACK! loved my stay there. if you're not bothered by fish smells this is probably the place for you!

Amazing hostel. Clean beds and bathrooms. Making breakfast in the morning was very enjoyable. Also they have activities in the weekend with free food and you get to meet people so amazing. The location is little bit far from action but metro is close about 10 min walk and can get you anywhere.

The hotel service is excellent, with a complimentary shuttle boat to the Sathorn pier. If you want to go to ICONSIAM, it's only 12 baht, with round trips every hour, which is very convenient. There's a Ferris wheel night market nearby that's great for strolling around. The hotel provides tuk-tuks to take you to the night market anytime, allowing you to enjoy it as much as you like. The hotel's location is superb, making it easy to get anywhere. They offer airport pick-up and drop-off services; booking these in advance yourself is much cheaper than booking a taxi online. The hotel staff are very welcoming, and I had a very comfortable stay. If it's your birthday, the hotel even provides a small complimentary birthday cake. Exploring the night market and taking a cruise on the Chao Phraya River at night was a wonderful travel experience.

The room is very spacious, and the environment is pleasant. The staff's service attitude is excellent. The surrounding area is incredibly convenient, with massage parlors, various snacks, and street food everywhere. The rooftop pool also offers a pretty nice view.

Everything was pretty good and service was amazing but it is kind of expensive considering the location isn‘t the very best. I just think that for this kind of pricing while not really beeing close to the center ( even though the Location is not terrible) your expect a lot more than you get. Regardless our room was pretty clean the view on the balcony was at most a 1 out of 10 but therefor the view on the rooftop was amazing and even though we didn‘t use it the pool looked great

The lazy receptionist refused to give the deposit and told her that on arrival day i gave deposit to the receptionist which she didnt even give the receipt. The ladies always on the phone and pretend does not know what the guest are saying. Hoping someon can contact me from the hotel management. Rest is nice and buggy driver is the only one helpful.

This is our top choice for an overnight layover. They offer a free shuttle service, and it's only a few kilometers from the airport, about a 10-minute drive. However, you might have to wait a bit for the shuttle once you arrive at the airport, which could extend the travel time. The room isn't very big, and the bathroom is just okay, quite small. The breakfast selection is limited, and items aren't refilled promptly. If you walk to the end of the alley, there's a market with all sorts of things for sale, plus a 7-Eleven, so you can find whatever you need. The front desk service was alright; not bad, but nothing exceptional either. For a similar price, hotels in China usually offer much better facilities. But these are all minor things we can overlook, as it's just a transit stay after all.

The best value luxury stay for Thonglor. This hotel offers a timeless luxury style complemented by a recent renovation that makes it a valuable addition to the Marriott family. Great sized and well appointed rooms provide a comfortable base in this part of Bangkok whilst the superb location with a dedicated canal boat dock provide rapid access to the rest of the city. Connection to BTS and MRT are easy with the hotels shuttle and canal boat. However the shuttle times are extremely limited for a premium hotel. The facilities are very good however the sauna and jacuzzi areas are seemingly abandoned(?) hopefully they will get them operational soon, by which point the wellness are at would rival some of Bangkok’s absolute best hotels! Front desk are kind and helpful, all in I would recommend this hotel if you want a base in the Thong Lo/ Ekkamai areas and don’t mind being a bit out of the city centre. The trade off is that you get a true luxury stay for a very reasonable price.
