"The location of this hotel is extremely convenient. It’s just next to the BTS station, literally a few steps away, which makes traveling around the city very easy. The price is also very reasonable for what you get. My room was very clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, so I had a good rest during my stay. Overall, a great value hotel with a perfect location. I would definitely stay here again."

"Honestly, just book it. Best stay ever! 🙌✨ I’m on such a high from our stay at Vela Dhi Glow Pratunam that I just had to shout it from the rooftops. If you’re heading to Bangkok, seriously, look no further. This place is an absolute gem. First of all, the reception staff? Total rockstars. From the moment we checked in, they treated us like royalty but with the warmest, most genuine vibes. They are SO good at actually listening to guest requests and making things happen without any fuss. Right from the start, they hit us with their amazing amenities—specifically, their unlimited fresh welcome drink. Trust me, after walking around in the Bangkok heat, walking into that lobby and having access to that delicious, ice-cold drink is easily one of the best perks ever. It instantly refreshed us every single time. The real game-changing moment, though, was on our last day. We wanted to do one massive, final shopping run before leaving, and the staff didn't even blink when we asked them to hold onto all of our heavy luggage. Because of them, my wife and I got to tear through the malls completely hands-free without dragging bags around. It made the whole day so much fun instead of a logistics nightmare. The hotel itself is just stunning and everything feels super fresh and modern. Also, a random but massive plus: their ironing service is incredible. My clothes were looking pretty sad and wrinkled from the suitcase, but they got everything looking crisp and perfect so fast. It’s rare to find a hotel where the staff genuinely seems to care about your trip, but these guys nailed it. Huge thank you to the team—you guys made our trip fantastic."

"It was more than a wonderful stay — honestly even much better than we expected. For this price, the hotel is truly unbeatable. Every morning there is a buffet with a mix of Western and Asian cuisine, which is great because there is something for every taste. The hotel also offers a free gym and a pool. Another very convenient feature is that you can use the washing machines and dryers for a very small price. Since our flight arrived very late at night, we were worried that checking in might be difficult, but it was absolutely no problem to check in in the middle of the night. Everything went smoothly. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming — it is honestly hard to describe how kind they are. We were also very impressed by how quiet the rooms were inside, making the stay very relaxing. I usually do not use housekeeping services, but what really surprised me was that even without requesting room cleaning, they hung a bag with two new water bottles and toilet paper on the outside door handle. It was such a thoughtful detail and meant we did not even have to ask for anything. The internet was also very good, and the mini fridge cooled extremely well — much better than we have experienced in most other hotels. Overall, it is truly a wonderful hotel and we would definitely stay here again."

Amazing
DDaxianyunyoushijie## Prime Location & Accessibility * This is an established luxury five-star hotel situated in the heart of Bangkok's commercial district. It's right next to the Erawan Shrine, and within walking distance to Siam Paragon, Central World, and Big C. The Chit Lom BTS station is just a stone's throw away, making both taxis and the Skytrain incredibly convenient for getting around. * Ideal for business travelers, shoppers, and those who appreciate classic luxury. Younger guests seeking minimalist, modern design might find it a bit traditional. ## Facilities & Services 1. **Guest Rooms:** Recently renovated by Tony Chi, the rooms are elegant and comfortable with high-quality linens and excellent soundproofing. Some entry-level room sizes are a bit compact for a city-center hotel. Welcome fruits and well-stocked toiletries are provided. 2. **Dining:** Breakfast offers a good variety (Thai + Western). Erawan Tea Room is a Michelin-recommended Thai restaurant, and the Executive Lounge service is consistently good. Some restaurant prices are on the higher side. 3. **Leisure:** The pool isn't huge, better suited for relaxation than extended swimming. The spa has an excellent reputation with professional therapists. The gym is open 24/7 with a full range of equipment. 4. **Service:** The front desk is efficient, and Globalist benefits are well-executed. Chinese-speaking staff are available. The hotel upholds the strong attention to detail and consistency expected of a long-standing five-star property. 5. **Ambiance:** Features a high-ceilinged lobby with a blend of European and Thai decor, exuding an 'Old Money' vibe. While well-maintained, it has a sense of history rather than a modern, minimalist aesthetic.

Amazing
GGuest UserThis stay at a five-star hotel in Bangkok was honestly such an unforgettable experience for us. We were visiting to celebrate our anniversary, and since we’re both pretty introverted, we didn’t mention anything special when making the reservation. When we checked in today, the staff kindly asked about the purpose of our trip, and my husband mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. The staff truly went above and beyond to prepare such an amazing surprise for us. They upgraded us to a beautiful suite on the 47th floor with a huge living room and an incredible night view of Bangkok. When we came back from sightseeing later that day, we were completely overwhelmed by how thoughtful everything was. The room was filled with surprises and lovely details — delicious chocolates, champagne, roses, and even two swans folded from towels. We were deeply touched and honestly felt so emotional. It made our anniversary trip even more special and memorable.

GGuest UserThe service was truly excellent. I only booked for two people, but when I checked in, they saw I had a child with me and didn't make a fuss, which was great. The sunset from the 11th-floor pool is beautiful. It's quite close to the BTS, probably a 300-400 meter walk, but we only took it once. We mostly used taxis, though Bangkok traffic is terrible! I'd recommend staying in the Siam district instead, as most of our activities were there, and there aren't many big malls near this hotel. There's a Starbucks across the street, a 7-Eleven downstairs, and a whole street of massage places. The hotel's juice was delicious; my kid drank it every day downstairs. They also have Chinese-speaking staff, but the breakfast was just average.

XXiaoxuexiaozhuI stayed at the Banyan Tree Lijiang back in 2013 and thought it was excellent quality with a great ambiance. This is my third visit to Bangkok, and overall, this hotel is still quite good. I've previously stayed at the Westin and Conrad. I specifically chose this hotel this time for its rooftop bar. The service was very good. They charged a 3000 THB deposit, and since we were only staying one night, we paid in cash. You have to walk a bit from the hotel entrance to find a 7-Eleven. The environment is nice, and I really liked the jasmine-scented toiletries. The breakfast quality was decent, not a huge selection, but enough to eat well and feel full. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, gym, or spa.

CCangjiujieqiI stayed here around the same time last year, and this time I came with my kids again, plus an elder who's almost 70. I chose this hotel again because of its convenient location (the hotel provides a shuttle boat and there are tuk-tuks at the Ferris Wheel pier) and excellent value for money. This trip also had an unexpected surprise: in the long alley opposite 7-Eleven, across the road from the hotel (pictured in image 2), there's a local morning market. It probably starts in the early morning and is mostly packed up by noon. Walking through it gives you a great sense of local prices and daily life. The hotel's pool bar is now renovated this year, and the prices are still as delightful as ever.

KKindaketThird time at this property. At this point, the choice barely needs justifying. It just makes sense. The location is a big part of that. Within easy reach of both Terminal 21 and EmSphere, and a short walk from the BTS and MRT, it puts you right in the thick of things without the chaos of being too central. For getting around, the public transport links are genuinely useful. Though I've found that for spots a little further from the stations, grabbing a bike is often much faster. And for airport transfers, skip the taxi entirely. The airport rail into the MRT is faster, cheaper, and far less stressful than sitting in Bangkok traffic wondering if you'll make your flight. This stay coincided with some refurbishment and lift upgrading works. Earplugs were left in the room as a courtesy, and honestly the noise never really bothered me. That said, clearer communication ahead of arrival would have been appreciated. With only one guest lift operational at certain times, the staff lift was made available as a backup, but waits during peak hours could stretch longer than ideal. Worth factoring in if you're on a tight schedule. Manageable, not a dealbreaker, but good to know going in. On the maintenance side, I did flag two issues after the first night. The shower shutter wasn't closing properly, and the TV had a habit of shutting off or pausing on its own. I reported both at the front desk. Nobody came to fix either during my stay. It didn't ruin anything, but it's the kind of follow-through that matters, especially for a returning guest. The service overall was warm and welcoming. Staff greet you like they mean it, which sounds like a small thing until you've stayed somewhere that doesn't bother. But the standout of this trip, genuinely and unexpectedly, was the housekeeper, Ya Hin. In the morning she'd check in to ask what time I'd prefer my room serviced. That alone is a level of consideration most hotels don't think to extend. On one of those days, she left behind a rabbit folded from a hand towel. The kind of detail that makes you pause and smile before you even put down your bags. The next day she asked if I'd like another. I told her it wasn't necessary. She heard me, and I thought nothing more of it. I came back that evening after a particularly hectic day. The kind where Bangkok has wrung you out completely. On the bed sat a towel folded into the shape of a girl, and beside it, a handwritten note wishing me well. I'm not someone who reaches for words like ”touched” easily. But that got me. It's a small gesture in the scheme of things. But it's exactly the kind of human moment that separates a hotel stay from an actual experience. Ya Hin, if this ever finds you: thank you. For frequent Bangkok visitors who want a well-located base with good transport links and staff who genuinely care, this property earns its return visits. If you're planning a stay soon, it's worth checking ahead whether refurbishment works are still ongoing. The hotel feels like it's going through a proper upgrade, and the end result will likely be worth it. Just something to be aware of when booking.

CCHWAY MATEThe facilities were a bit old, and there was a constant sewer smell, so we had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times. This time, we booked a two-bedroom family suite, which had excellent soundproofing. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots and pans. The pool was large and beautiful, and the changing room was also spacious with a big bathtub 🛁. We also took the kids to the small playground in B City. The location is great, and overall, I'm very satisfied. I'll choose this place again next time.
