Amazing
DDaxianyunyoushijie## Prime Location & Accessibility * This is an established luxury five-star hotel situated in the heart of Bangkok's commercial district. It's right next to the Erawan Shrine, and within walking distance to Siam Paragon, Central World, and Big C. The Chit Lom BTS station is just a stone's throw away, making both taxis and the Skytrain incredibly convenient for getting around. * Ideal for business travelers, shoppers, and those who appreciate classic luxury. Younger guests seeking minimalist, modern design might find it a bit traditional. ## Facilities & Services 1. **Guest Rooms:** Recently renovated by Tony Chi, the rooms are elegant and comfortable with high-quality linens and excellent soundproofing. Some entry-level room sizes are a bit compact for a city-center hotel. Welcome fruits and well-stocked toiletries are provided. 2. **Dining:** Breakfast offers a good variety (Thai + Western). Erawan Tea Room is a Michelin-recommended Thai restaurant, and the Executive Lounge service is consistently good. Some restaurant prices are on the higher side. 3. **Leisure:** The pool isn't huge, better suited for relaxation than extended swimming. The spa has an excellent reputation with professional therapists. The gym is open 24/7 with a full range of equipment. 4. **Service:** The front desk is efficient, and Globalist benefits are well-executed. Chinese-speaking staff are available. The hotel upholds the strong attention to detail and consistency expected of a long-standing five-star property. 5. **Ambiance:** Features a high-ceilinged lobby with a blend of European and Thai decor, exuding an 'Old Money' vibe. While well-maintained, it has a sense of history rather than a modern, minimalist aesthetic.

Ssunshinebunnyamazing stay! the link bridge connected to all the major shopping area! practically do not need any transport. the bridge is suitable for wheelchair too! i do not have to worry about traffic jam, raining day or even out in the sun! the bridge solved everything. i love my stay here. i did not mention about celebrating birthday during my stay yet the hotel was able to identify it and sent a birthday cake into my room. i upgraded on the spot to The Club which enabled me to access breakfast. the selection was not wow but quality and service impressive. i requested for non egg yolk sunny side up, and they managed to help me with it. will definitely come back! you can request room service/ amenities through an app. the service was fast! i ordered food through room service and requested for ice tub. within 20mins, it was delivered to my room 4520.

SSasajiangjiangziThis is the same hotel brand I stayed at for a month after giving birth in Guangzhou, so I chose it again in Bangkok. It has the famous infinity pool, and a small kids' play area right next to it. About 50 meters down the road, there's a 7-Eleven and a great coffee shop (their coffee is surprisingly good!). A little further, there's a fantastic wonton noodle place that I went to for two days straight. The hotel is right by the BTS Thong Lo station (E6), and it's just 6 stops to Siam. Bangkok traffic is insane, so we'd always take the BTS and then a short motorbike ride from the station. Across from the hotel is THE ONE, a popular rooftop bar. There are also many massage places nearby, all looking clean and tidy – much better than the ones in Phuket! **Service:** The front desk service was excellent. Check-in was fast, and they even provided toiletries for my baby. Room cleaning was also very good.

MMia HSU is TaiwaneseStayed at Banyan Tree Bangkok and dined at Vertigo to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The experience showed a significant imbalance between the restaurant and hotel operations. The dinner at Vertigo was exceptional. The restaurant staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and made the birthday celebration special with thoughtful singing and photos. This was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay, and we truly appreciated their hospitality. However, the hotel experience did not reflect the same standard and fell short of expectations for a luxury property. Despite informing the hotel in advance about the birthday celebration, there was a clear lack of coordination between departments. The restaurant staff were not aware that we were hotel guests, which reflects a breakdown in internal communication. In addition, there was no birthday arrangement or in-room setup prepared, which was disappointing given that the purpose of the stay was clearly communicated in advance. Another major issue was the lack of communication regarding guest benefits. We later discovered that hotel guests were entitled to complimentary drinks and access privileges at the rooftop bar, yet none of these stay benefits or privileges were explained to us at check-in or during our stay. Missing out on included guest entitlements due to a lack of communication was particularly disappointing and significantly reduced the overall value of the stay. Operational guidance was also insufficient. Our room was located in a different elevator zone, yet no clear instructions were provided on how to access the restaurant. We had to return to our room and call for directions despite having a confirmed reservation, which should not happen at this level of hotel. Room conditions also require attention. The corridor had an unpleasant odor, room doors were extremely heavy and slammed loudly throughout the floor, the shower design caused water to leak outside the bathroom area, and a flashing fire alarm indicator near the bed affected sleep quality throughout the night. In addition, maintenance issues were noticeable. The shampoo dispenser was partially malfunctioning, only releasing a very small amount with each press, which further reflects a lack of proper room upkeep. Even basic in-room amenities were not carefully considered. Slippers and bathrobes were provided in mismatched sizes (one large and one small), which suggests an assumed male-and-female guest setup rather than consideration of the actual guests. For two female guests traveling together, this felt inconsistent with standard hospitality practice, where amenities are typically standardized or confirmed in advance. Overall, the restaurant delivered an outstanding and memorable experience, but the hotel operations, guest communication, room quality, and internal coordination were not aligned with the expected standard of a luxury hotel. While Vertigo was excellent, the hotel stay itself did not deliver the luxury experience we expected.

BBurnhardIn the heart of Sukhumvit, Sofitel blends French sophistication with Thai warmth. Rooms are spacious and stylish, featuring plush beds and marble bathrooms for a consistently comfortable stay. Its central location and easy BTS access make exploring Bangkok effortless, with malls like Terminal 21, Central Embassy, and Siam Paragon just a few stops away. Friendly service, a rooftop bar, pool, spa, and varied dining options complete a polished, well-rounded upscale city experience.

KKantabuliyazhangchangzongI was quite hesitant about this hotel after reading the reviews, but after staying there, I can say its location is excellent, right by the river. The biggest selling point is definitely the riverside access, especially the free shuttle boat. This shuttle can take you to S-pier, which connects to all the major blue and orange line attractions. Taking the metro isn't the most convenient option, but you can also get to S-pier and transfer there. From my window, I could see the Ferris wheel, and there's a night market right downstairs. However, the shuttle service ends at 9 PM, which is a big drawback, as it's about a 5-minute walk from there. Also, if you're close to the river at night, you might hear the rumble of boats in the middle of the night. While the hotel facilities are a bit old, they're not dirty. I loved the bed – it was incredibly soft and comfortable; I honestly didn't want to get up! The beds are huge. Even though they're single beds, two pushed together are bigger than beds in China, easily sleeping three people. I skipped the hotel breakfast as I'd already spent a lot of money these past few days. In the afternoon, there's hot coffee in the lobby, which is a nice touch (though it's the only one). They also have iced water, chrysanthemum tea, and roselle tea, plus some biscuits. In the mornings, there are croissants and hot coffee that you can take with you. It's like a simple meal, and it's not bad at all. One of the front desk staff speaks Chinese, so communication wasn't an issue. The hotel requires a deposit, as it's a major international brand. The bottled water in the room is complimentary and NSF certified, so feel free to drink up. The razor provided was quite good, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. From 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM, there's a singer performing in the lobby, which you can discreetly listen to. There's also legitimate massage available outside. If you get hungry at night, there's a 7-Eleven and some street food stalls about 50 to 100 meters away. I wouldn't say the food is amazing or terrible, but you can try the oyster omelet. As for the swimming pool, it's actually quite nice, being on the first floor and very spacious. If your main goal is to explore along the river, this hotel is perfect. However, if you're looking to frequent places like Nana, this location might not be ideal.

GGuest UserI spent 17 nights at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with my choice for a remote work and vacation stay. The room has a spacious desk where I could work comfortably, and the internet speed was consistently fast. The bed was also very comfortable. I had no trouble falling asleep at all. I’d say it’s on par with the bed at Parkroyal Collection Pickering in Singapore. The room was clean and a decent size, and the shower had strong water pressure. Locationwise, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Sala Daeng BTS or Lumphini MRT. While it may not be very close to public transport for some, one of the best things about the location is that it’s surrounded by many great restaurants to suit different budgets. In fact, the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had is just a five-minute walk from the hotel.Special thanks to Mr. Kelly from the reception team for providing exceptional service and helping me with any issues during my stay.

GGuest UserGoing to copy and paste this review as thisios my 'go to'ĺ BKK hotel and I use it repeatidly. Firstly the staff are all you would expect of any hotel boasting a five rating. T4hey are wonderful. Next the location, easy airport travel by train network or the staff will bring a taxi to the front door. Dont forget Terminal 21 easy access and various food outlers close by. Rooms see a wide selection and sizes. Modern, well equipped and always spotless. In my many stays only found one issue which I reported and i was moved in 30 minutes with a letter of apology and free meal! Hotel has small rooftop bar and swimming pool plus dinning options inc room service. My Bangkok base for everything!

CCHWAY MATEThe facilities were a bit old, and there was a constant sewer smell, so we had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times. This time, we booked a two-bedroom family suite, which had excellent soundproofing. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots and pans. The pool was large and beautiful, and the changing room was also spacious with a big bathtub 🛁. We also took the kids to the small playground in B City. The location is great, and overall, I'm very satisfied. I'll choose this place again next time.
