Amazing
AAnonymous UserHygiene: Yellow stains that had not been cleaned were found on the toilet
Environment: Halfway up Mount Wakakusa, isolated from the outside noise. The overall design style is modern Japanese. If you want to experience pure Japanese living, you should pay attention to the difference
Service: The service is still worthy of praise. The driver and front desk staff are very enthusiastic. They helped arrange the car to go up the mountain in the morning. It was very lucky to see 👀 deer🦌 on a rainy day
Food: Most of the food arranged is made from local ingredients in Nara. The ingredients are not gorgeous, the taste is OK, and it is more down-to-earth
ZZhi YiThis got to be one of the best rappers i had ever been to, (besides a few really high end resort in Bali). This resort service is impeccable. The kaiseki dinner is really delicious. The Garden is so well curated that it can compete with some of the shrine garden. And last but not least the onsen is truly relaxing and beautiful. One tip, is it place the herbal pack into the onsen early. It takes 6 hours for it to fully diffuse into the onsen.
Vvivian0229The room was spacious, and the hot spring was wonderfully uncrowded and relaxing. Everything was very clean. There's free ice cream in the lobby, which was a nice treat after a hot spring soak!
The hotel is conveniently located near tourist attractions, and it's about a ten-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station. The service was excellent, and there's free coffee and tea bags available in the lobby.
The only downside was that the room wasn't very warm. In winter, cold air seeped in near the windows, and even with the air conditioning set to 30 degrees, it still felt a bit chilly.
GGuest UserDuring our stay, we encountered the Yama Festival at Mt. Wakakusa in Nara. The hotel provided a shuttle bus for guests staying that day to go down the mountain to watch the festival. They also distributed warm packs to guests before departure, which was a very thoughtful arrangement.
The hotel is located halfway up the mountain and overlooks the entire city of Nara, with beautiful scenery.
ややーたんWe went by car!
There was a parking lot where guests could park for free.
The location was also great, as it was only about a 15-minute walk to Todaiji Temple.
We booked a room with dinner and breakfast included, and both were delicious and very satisfying (;;)
They provided petit cakes in the evening, which we enjoyed eating while doodling in our memory notebook!
They even have a hot spring!
The inside of the hotel was very clean, and everything was great, so we were very satisfied!
If I come to Nara again, I'd love to stay here!
李李The hotel is in the forest, and you can walk along the mountain road to the hotel (it would be inconvenient to walk in to get your luggage, you can take a taxi to the door of the hotel). The scenery is so beautiful, leaving the noisy tourist area and getting close to nature. Dinner is kaiseki, in a private restaurant room, a great experience! When checking in, the time for dinner and breakfast will be arranged, and the time of the private bath room will be confirmed, and the service staff will come to the room to call. The breakfast has traditional tea and rice, delicious 😋The room is traditional Japanese style, not low-key luxury design. The environment is awesome!
EEvgeniia ZemchenkovaIt is not just a hotel, but a unique portal in Japan's history. Located in carefully renovated buildings of the former sake brewery, it offers a rare combination of the authentic spirit of the Edo era and the perfect modern comfort. Space rooms with a wooden fragrance, as well as private gardens, create an atmosphere of absolute privacy in Nara 's heart. A separate admiration is worthy of a high kitchen: breakfast here is turned into a gastronomic journey across the region using the best seasonal products. Attentive staff and attention to every detail make staying here unforgettable is the perfect place for those looking for silence, aesthetics and truly Japanese hospitality.” And after breakfast, Oleni came to us in the garden!!!!
DDiver_LynetteWe love the special Japanese style rooms. The garden is big. But this property is a bit too cold in winter time. Owner locked one aircon in the room. Only left one aircon on, which is not enough during night time. We were suffering all the nights and early morning.
I suggest owner to provide at least one mirror at the property, we couldn’t find any mirror for make-up.
GGuest UserAlthough the scenery near the hotel seems to be remote, the hotel is actually in a good location. Next door is the ruins of Heijo Palace, and it is about a ten-minute walk from Kintetsu Yamato-Saidaiji Railway Station. Popular attractions such as Nara Park are only two stations away.
The hotel can reserve a shuttle bus to the railway station. I saw some guests using it, but I didn't use it.
The room is bigger than I expected. There is no extra charge for the hotel's hot spring facilities. There are both indoor and outdoor pools. The service of the hotel staff is very good. Overall, it is highly recommended.
