The room was spacious, and the hot spring was wonderfully uncrowded and relaxing. Everything was very clean. There's free ice cream in the lobby, which was a nice treat after a hot spring soak! The hotel is conveniently located near tourist attractions, and it's about a ten-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station. The service was excellent, and there's free coffee and tea bags available in the lobby. The only downside was that the room wasn't very warm. In winter, cold air seeped in near the windows, and even with the air conditioning set to 30 degrees, it still felt a bit chilly.

A fantastic local hotel, popular with both locals and international guests. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast for the half-board option was a bit lacking, but dinner was excellent. We had booked a Japanese suite with a view of the Five-Story Pagoda, but unfortunately, the pagoda is under renovation until 2034, so the view was a bit compromised. Otherwise, everything was great. Deer were everywhere right outside, and the location was superb.

This hotel is a traditional Japanese ryokan with hot springs and an observation deck. Facilities: Excellent Cleanliness: Very clean Environment: Very quiet surroundings, and not far from Nara Station. Service: Very attentive.

Thoroughly enjoy our stay here. I wish I can give 10 stars for the service. The hotel is very sweet, they prepared breakfast for us knowing we will check out early and miss breakfast. Hotel was about 2 mins walk from the entrance of Nara park n the shopping district. Very good location. You could either walk 1.3km to the hotel from the JR station, or take a taxi which would cost around 1200yen. About 10 mins walk from the metro station. I stayed for 2 nights with breakfast and dinner inclusive. The Ryokan did take note n served us a different menu each day. There was also a small indoor n outdoor onsen in the Ryokan. The food was superb.

The hotel was great! We had the public hot spring bath all to ourselves, which was a real treat. The location is excellent, close to Starbucks and the shopping street. The hotel also offers complimentary coffee, tea, and ice cream, and the massage chairs are super comfortable. It would be perfect if there were some Western options for breakfast.
