Facilities: The hotel facilities are almost identical to those of WHG hotels in Japan. I particularly love the separated wet and dry areas in the bathroom, and the option to take a bath in a tub or use the Japanese-style sitting shower. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: There's not much of a street view, but it's incredibly close to Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station, just a two to three-minute walk away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart directly opposite. For attractions, Huashan 1914 Creative Park is close by. The breakfast is exquisite, offering a variety of Japanese and ********* options, with fresh ingredients. Service: The staff are very polite.

Excellent! Absolutely fantastic, truly excellent! I can't recommend it enough. A genuinely wonderful experience, over and over again. Simply outstanding, consistently great. This place is top-notch, really a cut above. I was so impressed, just brilliant. Consistently brilliant, an amazing stay every time. Truly a phenomenal experience, superb. Unfortunately, two full days of our stay were declared typhoon holidays, so we couldn’t go out to explore the city. Thankfully, the hotel has a cozy lounge on the 5th floor that offers complimentary snacks, coffee, and tea from 1:00 p.m. until midnight. It was a wonderful place to relax and unwind instead of staying in our room all day. We also really enjoyed the daily breakfast, which offered a delicious variety of food and was consistently excellent. Take the Exit X5 elevator to reach the hotel.

Highly recommended! First off, the hotel's location is excellent, close to Taipei Main Station, and there are many bus routes nearby, making it easy to travel to other places. Secondly, the hotel facilities are comprehensive; there's a laundry room with 4 washing machines and dryers, and even laundry detergent provided. What's more, the staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. There's also a comfortable common area and a wide variety of snacks nearby. Finally, the room is clean, and the TV can connect to YouTube, which is super convenient.

Great location with eateries just opposite the hotel. It is within walking distance to many of the attractions in Tainan. The lobby at the hotel has a large and well equipped kitchen with plenty of sitting places. Bed is comfortable and the water pressure in the bath is powerful. The receptionists are very helpful and friendly. I had a nice stay there! Recommended!

Spacious room. Service is good. Most of the female receptionists are friendly and helpful. Bfast is good too (hotpot buffet - without meat, rice bowls, unli drinks: coffee, juice, soda). As read in some of the reviews, its kind of difficult to find the assigned room as it has a lot of hallway turns. With big/comfy lobby, with free iced tea and juice. 10 mins walk going to Ximending shopping center. ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at Green World Zhonghua and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei. The hotel's location is excellent. It is directly opposite Ximending, making it easy to explore the shopping streets, restaurants, and local attractions on foot. There is also a 7-Eleven conveniently located downstairs, and the entrance to the MRT underground station is just outside the hotel, making it very convenient to travel around Taipei. The room was comfortable and met all our needs. What impressed us the most was the exceptional service from the hotel staff. Our flight was delayed until midnight, and they kindly helped us extend our room until late evening, which made a huge difference to our travel experience. Their willingness to accommodate our request and their friendly, helpful attitude were truly appreciated. Overall, we had a very pleasant and hassle-free stay. With its unbeatable location, convenient transportation access, and outstanding customer service, Green World Zhonghua is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Taipei. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip.

This chain hotel is decent, but the location is a bit out of the way. You'll need to take a taxi everywhere. It's quite close to the night market, so it depends on your preference. If your itinerary is mostly in the city center, I wouldn't really recommend it. 😆😆😆

My mom and I stayed here for 5D4N, and we have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. First, the location is excellent. It is just a few minutes away on foot from several bus and train stations—specifically Ximen, NTU Hospital, and Taipei Main Station. There are also convenience stores nearby, such as Family Mart, 7-Eleven, and Watsons. We also really liked that the area is less crowded and much quieter than Ximending. Second, the room itself was great. Even though our window had a ”wall/cement view,” we still had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious enough for us to open our 2 large luggage. The air conditioning worked fine, the bed was ample, the bathroom was clean, and the Japanese-style toilet was very easy to use. One tiny detail that could be improved is the lighting; it was a bit dim, though it didn’t heavily affect our overall stay. Lastly, the hotel staff was nice and accommodating. A lovely staff member, Ms. Cindy, helped us figure out how to use the TV and air conditioning when we had a hard time navigating them since the instructions were written in Chinese characters. We also requested housekeeping before heading out one day and returned to a freshly made-up bed. The free snacks and beverages were a wonderful touch, too. My mother and I especially loved the coffee, tea, and seaweed biscuits. Overall, I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone planning a trip to Taipei.

Had a great stay at Midtown Richardson Hotel in Ximen from 29 August to 2 September 2026. The location is definitely the biggest highlight. The hotel is right in the heart of Ximending, making it extremely convenient to explore the shopping streets, restaurants, cafés and night market. Ximen MRT Station is also within easy walking distance, which made getting around Taipei very convenient. The room was comfortable and clean, and the overall stay was pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance. I also liked how convenient the hotel was after a long day of sightseeing — plenty of food and shopping options are just steps away. Overall, a great choice if you want to stay in the Ximending area, especially for first-time visitors to Taipei. Would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Taiwan! 🇹🇼
