"Caesar Metro is located right next to Wanhua train station, one stop away from Taipei station which is linked to Taipei Main and the metro network. It’s also only two stops away from one of the largest night markets in Taipei, Raohe, at Songshan station. The rooms were large and comfortable with interesting city views on the higher floors. We booked a triple sharing room and were pleased that the bath, toilet and sink/vanity top were separate so each person could access the different room amenities at the same time. Service was excellent. From the concierge to the breakfast buffet crew and housekeeping. The staff were courteous, efficient and quick to help. All in, we’d a great stay there."

Level one concierge Nico was very friendly and helpful when I went downstairs to collect my midnight supper delivery. Special thanks to housekeeper Ricky. Hotel is in the best location, nice view of Taipei 101 at level 7 swimming pool area. Metro is just across the road past some shops. There are street performers on the walkway behind the hotel in the evening from 6 to 10pm."

"Mixed Experience at Vagus Hotel My stay at Vagus Hotel had its ups and downs. Pros: The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. Additionally, the hotel's location is highly convenient, being close to bus stops and MRT stations, making it easy to navigate the city. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, which contributed to a comfortable stay. Cons: Unfortunately, there were a few drawbacks. The soundproofing of the rooms was quite poor, as I could hear conversations from the neighboring rooms clearly, which affected the overall comfort. The lighting in the room was rather dim, creating a slightly gloomy atmosphere. Moreover, the air conditioning system could not be adjusted individually, which limited temperature control and personalized comfort. Overall, while Vagus Hotel has several positive aspects, there are areas that could benefit from improvement to enhance the guest experience."

"Location is superb with convenience shops, eateries and bubble tea shops at the door step. Sound insulation is very bad. When your neighbor showers there is a very water gushing sound near the you can hear clearly people talking along the corridor. Definitely not a hotel for light sleepers. WiFi connection is almost non existent… though there are a few spots to connect, there is no internet connection or it barely loads/unstable. I had to rely on my eSIM data instead throughout the entire stay. Hotel offers offering food from famous stall, a convenience factor which may favor some travelers."

Numerous high-quality restaurants in the hotel providing Japanese, Cantonese, and ********* cuisines. The concierge team is also very helpful and enthusiastic. The interior is clean and roomy, albeit a bit seasoned. The texture of the bed is also world-class. The gym is handy to use with a wide spectrum of utilities."

Chinese tea, drip coffee bags, and Nespresso are also provided. A bathtub larger than usual is definitely a plus. Breakfast is a surprise. Not the common all-you-can-eat buffet, but more like the Instagram-story type set menu. Set choices and meal porion are both enough for us. All in all, the stay is satisfying."

Located considerably centre of ximending and easy access to all food, shop, drink and whatever you needed as you named it except the room I stayed with window facing the downstairs cafe/bar which if the live band performing will have quite loud sound were transmitted into the room. Other than that all good!"

"Purposely choose to stay with M.O. check-in process was smooth with special house tea and cold towels. The room was big and elegant setting. Toiletries were sufficient, however, with a strong sustainable mission. This MO still uses toothpaste instead of other MO toothpaste paper. I found their bath towels were rather old, which I don't expect from this level of Hotel. Most of the hotels have water kettle but not here. They offered a Japanese hot water machine which made me think of 30 years ago. Breakfast was great with a lot of varieties. I have the same similar level of hotel , they have a person to guide you to your room but not here."

Everything was spotlessly clean, from the rooms to the common areas, and the upkeep is impressive. The service was warm and professional, and the location is convenient—within walking distance to several shops, eateries, and the MRT. The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished, with little touches that made the stay feel refined.

DdyhxStayed here out of convenience because our event took place in one of their function rooms. The lobby is grand, the room is spacious and luxurious although the decor is a little dated. The fact that they still use physical keys says alot, which also means the lifts are not restricted to in-house guests only. Even the aircon in the room is still turn-type thermostat. The room is abit like a junior suite where there's an additional door separating the entrance and bathroom from the bedroom. I do wish the lights are brighter, too dim for my liking. The side table lamps and floor lamp are also manual control, so you have to turn them on/off one by one. The bed is firm but the pillows are too soft and sinks without support. Clean and spacious bathroom, do note however they don't provide single-use disposables so bring your own toothbrush. The water pressure in the standing shower is good, but the hot water for the bathtub is not hot enough. Location wise isn't too convenient. The MRT is about 7 mins walk away, considering you also have to go downslope from the hotel lobby which is situated above a park at the top of the slope. There also isn't much else around in terms of local food and stuff, except for 7-11. It's connected to Regent Galleria in the basement where there are more luxury boutiques from Sisley to Chanel, Hermes, Issey Miyake etc. 5* service, every staff I've met throughout my stay has been most friendly, helpful, attentive, polite and full of smiles.

Sslowlife.cityAbsolutely loved it! 10/10!! From the hotel design and customer service to the room quality, everything was perfect! This hotel is great for people who like to social. They regularly host events at The Social (see photos). We booked the room with a King sized bed. The room was much more spacious than we thought. There was even a balcony! The Japanese-style bathtub was amazing too. And since the hotel just opened last year, everything is relatively new. The little things that count: - Over 10 sockets with built in adapter - Room can be 99% dark - Really comfortable slippers - Consistent water temperature for the showers - Strong hair dryer - A large variety of amenities - Well-maintained gym While I love the mood and vibe of the room, it might not be suitable for people who need to work as the lighting might not be sufficient. Once again, I don't guarantee that you will have the same experience but I will definitely come back and highly recommend it to everyone! Bonus: The restaurant (Texas Roadhouse) on the G/F has great service and quality food too! But since there are limited breakfast choices, I wouldn't recommend you get it every day if you're staying for long.

KKkoh84My second time with this hotel and I did not have the most pleasant time with them nor as much as the previous time. That aside, amenities within a 500-1000m are the supermarket, family mart, restaurants and so on. It’s also near a couple of train stations so be sure to explore the underground pass. Iconic view with the 101 in proximity and can walk from hotel to 101 in about 15mins and some shopping areas as well all around. The hotel room is a little small but my qualm with them is the WiFi. Probably some rooms may not have but I have gotten the same problem since my stay with them in November last year. Some blind spots will cause u to lose connectivity but somehow their staff always came back to me with they didn’t find problems with it. But it is really irritating especially when u can’t get decent connectivity in this time and space so I do hope that if I ever stay with them again, this will be rectified. What was most upsetting was on the day when I am checking out (which is today), I received a call from the reception to my room at 10:59am and telling me that I should be checking out now when my check out time is at 11am in the first place. I have never ever gotten any ca before in any hotel and to get this from Hilton groups is to me unforgivable. It should not be the peak season now so is there an issue when I checked out 10 mins late (or less)?
