The TW Capsule Hostel is a great choice for guests looking for accommodation in Taipei, having been recently renovated in 2023. The hotel is only 1km from Taipei Station and 8km from Taipei Songshan Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. In addition, Ximen Metro Station is just a short walk away. Keeping busy is easy, with Dihua Street, Dadaocheng Dock and Taiwan Museum Railway Department Park all nearby. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling alone.
"I stayed for several nights in a 4-person female dormitory room. There's no separation by floor for male and female guests; both are assigned to the same floor. Therefore, the sinks, toilets, and showers are all shared. Thankfully, it wasn't crowded, and the facilities were regularly cleaned, so it wasn't inconvenient. It seemed there was a shared washing machine located deeper inside. Although the air conditioning in the room was on, it wasn't cool enough to be comfortable. Inside the capsule, there's only one Type-C charging port and one USB port. The USB port in my capsule was broken. There's also a fairly deep personal locker in the room, probably about 50-60 cm deep. Additionally, there was a small table in the room with an outlet for charging. The basic amenities provided inside the capsule include one small towel, a pack of tissues, and earplugs. If you add them on Line Messenger, they respond to your inquiries. I was very satisfied! My roommates were great, so we had a quiet and pleasant stay."

AAnnKooPerfect stay in the centre of Taipei. Very convenience location for shopping and food hunting by commutimg with the public transport. Hotel staffs were all friendly and helpfull. I like the common area where you can seat and work. You could even help yourself with a cup of tea or some bread in the morning. And popcorns for hi- tea. In addition, coins washing machine and dryer were available too. Though the room is small, it is clean and tidy with everything I need. I will return for sure qhen in Taipei again.

Rooms and common areas were tidy and comfortable, which makes a big difference when you are staying at a budget property. The location is excellent. It is situated very close to a metro station, which makes getting around Taipei very convenient. For travelers planning to explore the city using public transport, the location works very well. Service was also very good. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. In terms of amenities, travelers should manage expectations. The hotel provides the basics but not everything you might find in a full-service hotel. It is recommended to bring your own toiletries as only minimal items are provided in the room. Breakfast is simple and delivered as a packed option, typically something like a sandwich or a burger-style item. It is basic but perfectly adequate. One nice touch is that the hotel offers free coffee throughout the day from a coffee machine and complimentary snacks such as chips and crackers at the reception area. They also provide bottled water upon request. Overall, this is not a luxury or fancy hotel, but for budget travelers it is a very practical and comfortable choice. If you are looking for an affordable place that is clean, well located, and run by friendly staff, Tai Hope Hotel is a solid option.

I always felt safe even when coming back a bit late, which is a huge plus when you’re traveling alone. The place itself is clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the common areas are nice if you want to relax or meet other travelers. What stood out the most was how accommodating and friendly the staff were—they’re always ready to help with directions, recommendations, or anything you need. As a female solo traveler, safety and comfort are everything, and Main Inn definitely delivered. It has a welcoming vibe that makes you feel at home while still being budget-friendly. Highly recommend this place if you’re planning a solo trip to Taipei 💛

AAllie LoweThe reception staff is super nice- when I arrived with a bruised knee (luggage cart at T1 has malfunctioned wheels bumped at my leg), the young man assisted me with check-in while I’m sitting nearby; & arranged an accessible room on site at no extra cost. Bathtub inside rooms super nice as shown in pic. Tho I only stay for one night, their kindness is much appreciated. So I highly recommend this hotel … while it’s a bit dated, the staff works to the best to ensure I have a great stay there. Will try to visit the night market next time; & Citylink nearby is a super big mall with plenty of eateries. Thank you again for accommodating my needs while I’m travelling.

Check in gets faster with your reply to the property telling them what type of room you have booked and what time you'll arrive. With booming businesses and too many bookings, the staff might get entangled in mess, so partially you reply is helping them to get grounded and avoid mistakes. HHo SanThe room was spotless, much better than I expected. The location is super convenient, not far from the MRT and Shilin Night Market. The front desk staff were really welcoming. No smoking in the rooms, but there's a designated smoking area right outside the front entrance.

The location is excellent—only about 150 meters from the MRT station, which is just a 3-minute walk away. It made traveling around Taipei very convenient. There are tons of food options downstairs, and a department store (Shin Kong Mitsukoshi) is right across the street. I've already stayed for over a week, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Taipei!
