You can hear the sound from the corridor. The sound insulation is not very good, but the tenants are all very good and I don't feel disturbed. The surrounding area is very convenient. There is a 7-11 convenience store downstairs and next door. Just across the street is Shida Road. Lots of food and Carrefour.

I hesitated to make a reservation at first because there were only mixed rooms, but I think I don't have to worry because all the rooms are on the front floor.
Pros
1. You can hang clothes inside the bed.
2. You can tell they are diligently managing the place. Clean.
3. Information about Taipei and a list of recommendations upon check-in. Friendly.
4. I've been to many places, but this is the only place that provides disposable slippers.
5. As soon as you get off the elevator, you can smell fabric softener. I've never smelled it in other dormitories.
Cons
1. The bunk beds are structured so that you can see each other even with the curtains drawn.
2. The lighting inside the bed makes it difficult to put on makeup.
3. The shelves inside the bed are small.
The first con was that they blocked the clothes on the hangers inside the bed, so it was okay, and the rest are not major cons. In conclusion, I recommend it.

From the MRT Longshan Temple MRT 龍山寺 ( blue line ) to the hostel you need to walk around 4/5 min.
The staff is very friendly and helpful to introduce you the rules for the check in and check out, showing you touristic places. They are willing to help you as much as possible.
The access for the bedroom and bathroom are really ease and secure with a card. Inside the bathroom you got hair dryer, soap and shampoo.
And finally you got a nice living room with nice sofa, and table to eat or working on your stuff.

This is a good place to stay if you need to be very near to Taipei Main Station and Taoyuan Airport MRT, with the latter just less than 5 minutes to the ticketing and platform area. Few steps only from Y13 exit of Taipei City Mall underground, to get to the MRT exits Y16 and Y20 is easily reached on the opposite side below. Word of caution though, the hotel does not have any lifts which maybe troublesome for those with heavy luggage. However, once you reach the reception at level 2 via stairs at the main entrance, the rooms inside are relatively big enough at a low price compared to nearby hotels on this area. Safe locker and fridge is also provided with a sofa near the bed, though having a room with no windows means the dirt might accumulate on some of the corners. The amenities are at level 6 such as the laundry area and main breakfast/eating area. The breakfast included on this booking is good enough to start the day, consisting of dumplings, baos and bread with spreads. Vending machines for coffee and tea is present, and I appreciate the hotel’s initiative for us to self clean the utensils, plates and mugs after use. Housekeeping though is only done once unless requested. Instead of key card, actual keys are used to access the rooms. The card included is for the main entrance for use when arriving late at night. Overall I still experience a comfortable stay and might consider it again.

Very good hostel with people from everywhere. Not super social but also not super quiet. Very nice balcony with view. Beds were comfortable enough for me but matras could be softer. Only thing which involved some luck was the bed you are getting assigned. There is a huge difference in comfort between the beds in the same room. Some have way more privacy then others and have more space for luggage etc. It felt a bit to busy with 18 beds inside 1 room.

I can’t upload the video I took upon check in, so I just screenshot them. The room was as the photos you see upon booking, it is clean and enough space. Lots of power outlet. I arrived at 3am and the self check in is hassle free since I got the instructions emailed to me. There were lots of food choices outside even in wee hours, that’s a plus for me.

Solo trip to Taipei. The location very convenience. Close to MRT Ximending by walk around 5 mins. The hostel located in the building. The reception did good service by introduce around the hostel. In the room was noise from the stair to the above bed. The things I don't like is the shower room separate with the restroom and you have to walk out the hostel part to the restroom or toilet. Feel inconvenience and the bed a little small for a big people. Overall just ok.

This is my first hotel in Taipei. I highly recommend it! If I hadn’t forgotten to renew for the weekend in advance, I would have renewed my stay again🤩🤩! Although there were only a few people sharing the room when we made the reservation, the experience was really great! clean! Quiet! The hardware environment and decoration of the hotel are super warm and the lighting is superb! Everyone is super friendly and doesn’t snore! The public area is very cozy and the background music is very atmospheric. The staff are also very patient and friendly, the service is very good, and they will answer every question patiently. There are two washing machines and a dryer on the second floor, which is very convenient. You can sit and wait in the social area. If you like collecting stamps and stamps, there are also many stamps to check in! The picture album next to it is filled with messages from each passenger. Compared to the hotel I moved to near the museum, there are too many people in one room, no slippers, no smart toilet, and no quiet public space. It really makes people miss Beimen Bedroom🥹🥹 It is really a hotel with super humanistic care. Every detail of the hotel is superb!

It was my first time staying in a hostel in Taiwan. I came across Xiangzhu Hostel by chance and thought it was clean and bright, which was great. Although it was on B1, it didn’t feel damp or dark.
The bathroom and toilet are well ventilated and odor-free. The shower area is strong and spacious, and the hot water doesn't suddenly appear or disappear. I'm very grateful when a cold wave comes.
The room is well soundproofed. When you go to bed from the upper bunk, there is no noise from the partition (I was worried that moving would disturb the passengers on the lower bunk). There is also a cabinet where you can hang clothes and lock luggage. I am very satisfied.
The only minor drawback is that there is no shelf in the bathroom to place items flat, which is a little inconvenient (but there are hooks)
Also, the route from Taipei Transfer Station to the hotel is a bit complicated. I can't quite figure out how to get there on the flat road. I suggest going directly underground from the station (Taipei Transfer Station->Taipei Main Station->Zhongshan Underground Street Exit Z6, turn right and you will reach the hotel)
A little information for future travelers:
You can leave your luggage when the receptionist (who is very nice) is there from 10:00 to 22:00 on the day of check-in. You can leave your luggage at another Xiangzhu Hotel at other times.
You can also store your luggage when you check out the next day, which is very convenient for travelers in need🙏🏻

Wweezeethe check-in process was efficient and seamless and the lady at the front desk introduced the facilities well! i love the social space on the first floor of the room that gave travellers the opportunity to bond with one another! the facilities were also really clean, and i had a really comfortable shower and sleep during my night there! would love to be back if i'm ever travelling taipei again :D

CClarice_NgIt is the first time we are staying at CityInn Hotel Taipei Station Branch II and it is conveniently located nearby the Taipei Main Station and Bus Station. On the first day when check in, we receive warm and genuine greetings from the service staff stationed at the reception counter. My friends and I were impressed by the excellent service provided by the staff (led by Lilian and her team mates Nancy and Aria) who provided as a insightful introduction to the premises and amenities available in the hotel.
They helped to look after our luggage before the check in timing at 3pm and recommended us to some of the popular food spots around the vicinity.
Afterwhich, we collected the room cards from them timely at check in counter without any delay.
The room was sparkling clean and room amenities were all avaliable for us. There were also a self service pantry area where you can choose your drinks (coffee or tea and water dispenser) and light snacks such as biscuits and bowl noodles (after 10pm) were provided free of charge. Kitchen utensils as well as Freezer, Microwave and Oven were also made available for in house guest to use 24/7. We were also delighted to know that there is a on-site laundry room where we can wash our laundry which is especially user friendly and helpful as we were on a long trip with soiled clothings. They even provided both the washing machines and dryers as well as the detergent powder.
It was so convenient and homely for our 3 days 2 nights at the hotel.
Special shout out to Debby (night shift staff) who advised us on the aircon issue we had on first night on how to adjust the right temperature and also Aria assisting us with getting the engineering team to fix the air con on the next morning.
Debby thank you for also doing the night shift and maintaining the cleanliness of the pantry in the morning.
Lastly, we will like to thank the service team for their excellent service and great hospitality. We are deeply touched by the genuine service and surprise little gift for our friend's birthday. (Thank you Lilian and Kenny and team)

TTrebasThe location is really superb with Taipei Main Station, many restaurants, malls and shops just within 3 mins walking distance radius. Use the Z2 exit which has lift facility at the main station. Then simply cross the road & walk towards the Macdonalds sign. Use the entrance (side road) beside Macdonalds restaurant. It took us under 5 mins to reach the inn on the 5th floor once we exited the station.
We read about the complaints of long wait for the lifts but found that not to be an issue during our 4 nights stay there. Yes, there are at least another 2 inns located within the same building.
As we travelled with other 2 family members, the availability of use of the lounge facilities that provided free flow of hot tea / coffee & comfortable seats & chairs, microwave oven & oven was great for simple snacks / supper together.
Other amenities like 2 bottles of mineral water, bedroom slippers, shampoo, hand soap, shower gel and hair dryer are provided too. If toothbrush sets or shower caps or washing detergent are required, they can be requested or obtained from the lounge.
The staff were friendly & helpful too. We were 45mins early & appreciated the early check in with a short 10mins comfortable wait at the lounge.
Yes, the room is rather small. We were unable to book a bigger room except a double bed room with city view of about 20sq m. It took us a night or 2 to get use to managing our movements between 2 adults & 2 suitcases in each room. Ironing my clothes using my own travel iron has to be done at the counter beside the sink/ television. Looking at the sizes of room & the many rooms at close proximity, I would not recommend this inn for family with kid/ kids or senior travellers. It is more suitable for solo traveller or travellers of not more than 2 in a room.
Read about the strong beach smell in the towels which unfortunately was true. Probably the hotel can go easy on the usage of beach. This is partly the reason I given a 4 star rating instead of 5 under cleanliness.
Overall, a better than expected enjoyable stay. It’s value for money esp considering the location. Thanks too for the gift of luggage tag & luggage belt; a nice gesture. I would recommend to friends and families.

Quite surprised we been staying this hotel many times if provide amenities like tooth paste. We check with front desk they told us stop supplying to guest I told them can charge to my room but we will told to go and get my own.

PPao OhReally good location! A bit pricey considering it's a small room with no windows, but if you'll be out the entire day and just need a place to sleep, it is more than adequate.
The staff are friendly and can strike a conversation with you if you initiate. They can give you recommendations on where to eat and where to tour around. The shared bathroom is dormitory style. I am used to it from school, so it's not an issue for me to share a bathroom with people. There are hair dryers and sinks in individual stalls. I just wish there were bidets, though. It was difficult to wash as I had to uncomfortably make my way from the toilets to the shower area just to complete washing up.
All in all, it was a really good experience! I enjoyed my stay and will consider booking again once I return to Taipei.

Room is big and spacious and their toilets are all equipped with the bidet. They offer few convenient services such as ordering the popular Taiwan souvenir snacks as well as the popular Fu Hang Soy Milk for breakfast.
There is coffee dispenser as well as washing machine at the lobby aka top most level. There is only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer. Hence do strategise on when to wash your clothes. Each wash/dryer session cost 50 NTD and you can approach the staffs to obtain detergent.

- 24-hour Family Mart and 7-11 within a 5-minute walk.
- Rare double bed hostel for budget travelers.
- Large common area with a kitchen in the basement.
Cons:
- No hygiene products provided due to Taiwan's policy.
- Poor air circulation in the bed space.
- Private bathroom inside but cannot be used for bathing after 11 PM. Only one public bathroom shared with the entire floor, which may lead to frustratingly long waits.
- Noise from people moving around.
- Mattress is raised in the center, making it uncomfortable.

KKateRoom is small with outdated furnitures and has some old building smells.
Overall the room is clean. Service from the front desk lady was not very friendly. No heater and felt cold in the room during the winter.

FfoongmeiWe love this hotel so much! Very comfortable and very convenient as well. It is just located in between a 7-eleven and a Family mart. The bus station for direct ride to the international airport is just located nearby. The room is clean and the staffs are friendly.
