The Humble House Taipei, Curio Collection by Hilton provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Humble House Taipei, Curio Collection by Hilton is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Taipei. The hotel offers easy access to Taipei Songshan Airport, just 5km away. Being just minutes away from Taipei City Hall Metro Station allows guests to explore the city with ease. With multiple attractions nearby including Raohe Night Market, Sisinan Village Museum and Taipei《Detective Conan 30th Anniversary Commemorative Exhibition》, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices. The hotel swimming pool is for In-House guests only, outside visitors are not permitted. Starting October 1st, 2024, hotel will no longer proactively provide single-use amenities in our guest rooms.

"Overall, my stay was very satisfying. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and a well-developed surrounding area. What impressed me most was the room's view – Taipei 101 was clearly visible from the window, offering different beauty both day and night. Especially when the lights came on at night, the entire city's atmosphere was captivating, giving a relaxing and therapeutic feeling. The room itself was clean and tidy, with efficient use of space. The bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a restful sleep. The bathroom facilities were complete, with stable hot water, and the overall hygiene was reassuring. The hotel staff were friendly, making check-in and check-out very smooth, and any issues were promptly addressed. Additionally, there are many restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel, making daily life very convenient. It's suitable for both short trips and slightly longer stays. If you're visiting Taipei, especially looking for accommodation with a city view and good value for money, this hotel is a worthwhile option to consider. Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable stay."

Hotel near Beitou Hot Spring Area,Taipei
The hotel is located in the Beitou area, and is designed in the spirit of the Lanting preface, "The Flow of Water", with "Taisho Romance" as the main axis. The hotel is equipped with a white sulfur hot spring suite, a Nikkei hot spring bath, a wine cafe "Musk" and a "Traveler's Study" focusing on food, travel and video.

"I booked this hotel just a few days before our trip, and by then, hot spring inns were scarce and quite expensive. We settled on this one due to its proximity to Thermal Valley. A major inconvenience was the lack of a shuttle service; families with young children, like ours, had to take taxis both up and down the hill, which was quite troublesome. There's no elevator, and I was worried about lugging our suitcases upstairs, but thankfully our family room was on the ground floor. On the positive side, the bathroom was very spacious with a separate soaking tub, and it felt cleaner and more spotless than other hotels in the area. However, the room lighting was poor, making it very dim. The room itself was tiny; once our luggage was open, there was no space left to move around. Another issue was the insufficient number of power outlets. We had to unplug the mini-fridge just to use the electric kettle to prepare milk for our child. We definitely won't be considering this place for our next trip."

GGuest UserFacilities: Quite new. Hygiene: Clean. Environment: Excellent location, almost 5 minutes from the city airport. Service: The team is quite professional, and the shuttle service is very thoughtful. The only downside is that their internal system isn't integrated, so I had to repeat information every time a different staff member assisted me.

RR_FamilyThis is our second time staying at JR, again right before the Chinese New Year, and we stayed for three nights. We were mainly satisfied because the twin room was very spacious, perfect for our family of four. Since we usually sleep late, we opted for a room without breakfast; if needed, we could always buy it from the front desk, and there are plenty of hidden gem eateries nearby for brunch, afternoon tea, coffee, etc. The best part is the small park behind the hotel with a stone slide that's great for letting the kids burn off energy. Overall, it was a very satisfying trip and stay.

LLena小姊姊I stayed at Hotel Royal Beitou for three days for a health check-up. The room was large and spacious, which made for a very relaxing stay, and the in-room hot spring was also very comfortable. I had breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner there, and the overall quality was good with consistent flavors. The hotel activities were a great bonus too! I participated in a DIY workshop, a myofascial release class, and an evening tour of Beitou to learn about the local culture. I also visited the public hot spring, which was clean and had a comfortable atmosphere. This trip really ticked all the boxes for 'rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation.' It was a pretty good experience.

GGuest User1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. Thank you for your attention.

AAFormosaWe are long-time Taipei residents and now whole of Beitou area pretty well becuause we like hot sorings very much. Relaxing undisturbed atmosphere of this hotel is certainly big advantage. Its clean to perfection with minimalistic style of high-end japanese style onsen. i loved wooden floorings in the rooms , great hot spring bath with convenient hot spring water and mountain water taps so you can regulate the temperature you like. outside atmospheric is so amazing natural you wake up and feel yourself like somewhere deep in the jungle forgetting for sometime that you are close walking distance to Xinbeitou station. I walked around in the morning to Beitou Hot Spring Museum area, had wonderful breakfast with family and felt shiawase along every moment i stay there

ZZoubianzhongguo, zoubianshijieThe Grand Garden Hotel is excellent! The overall service quality is high, and the lobby environment is great. The staff are very service-oriented and enthusiastic about helping. They provided detailed explanations for everything, from standard procedures to currency exchange. The location is also fantastic, very close to Wanhua District, with many attractions within walking distance – perfect for those who love culture. The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from Xiaonanmen MRT Station. The rooms are clean and tidy. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again next time.

GGuest UserOverall service was acceptable, but the facilities are quite outdated. Breakfast options were limited, and the hot spring pool inside the hotel had a strong, pungent smell. Personally, I think it's better to use the bath in your own room.
