This is my second time visiting Wulingshan, and I chose Lanye Hotel again~ I've been eating breakfast at Shangu (Valley) restaurant, and I'm very satisfied, having eaten there for two consecutive days. I especially love the wild vegetable buns. The hotel was also incredibly thoughtful; knowing I was pregnant, they prepared an air purifier and a pregnancy pillow for me~ They also arranged for a high-floor room, so it wasn't noisy at all. They really put their heart into it!

The hotel's location is superb, very close to the Lizheng Gate entrance and even closer to the Chengguan Gate exit. After touring the Mountain Resort, it's just a one-minute walk back to the hotel – absolutely wonderful!

This is one of the better hotels near the Chengde Mountain Resort. It's very close to the resort; you don't need a car, just a 10-minute ride on a shared bike. The soundproofing is also quite good.

After visiting the Mountain Resort, we checked into the Puning Hotel quite late. The owner saw our child was very young and kindly upgraded our room. They even gave our child a mosquito repellent bracelet and specially helped us push the twin beds together, which was so convenient for traveling with a little one. As a regular traveler, I truly felt the warmth of this hotel; every detail was thoughtful. The room standards were very high, and the environment was upscale. There were also plenty of parking spaces and charging stations. If I ever come back to Chengde, I will definitely choose this welcoming Puning Hotel again!

Although the hotel isn't new, it's well-maintained, and the rooms are clean, tidy, and comfortable. The front desk staff (Team 801) were particularly friendly and helpful. They proactively provided directions to nearby attractions upon check-in and responded promptly to any inquiries. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was generally quite good, with a focus on Chinese cuisine. Also, the hotel has its own parking lot, making it extremely convenient for those driving, eliminating the need to worry about finding a spot. Overall, it's a great value and I'll definitely stay here again!

Location: Its main advantage is its proximity to the scenic area's entrance. No need for a shuttle bus; it's just a 100-meter walk. You can head out anytime to catch the sunset in the afternoon or the sunrise in the morning. Facilities: Quite old. As it's the only hotel within the scenic area, maintenance is poor. Hygiene: Relatively clean. However, the bathroom has a strong odor, and there's a lot of limescale on the sink, faucet, shower area, and showerhead. The shower area also has a distinct smell. Service: Practically no service to speak of. Rooms are spread across different sections, and there's no bellboy to help with luggage. Only one female staff member helped us with one suitcase; we had to drag the rest ourselves. Overall, it's just average. There are many guesthouses inside the scenic area with equally good locations. If you're looking for better value for money, a guesthouse might be a more advantageous choice.
