"The room was clean and tidy, and the price was very affordable. The big bed was comfortable to sleep in, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also good. It's very close to the Mountain Resort, just a few minutes' walk away, and there's free parking available. I highly recommend this hotel, it's the top choice when visiting the Mountain Resort."

"This is probably a more traditional local hotel, and it offers really great value for money. I had only booked it for the first night of my trip, but on the day I checked in, I immediately extended my stay for two more nights before my return journey, right at the front desk with the lovely young lady on duty. The front desk staff are genuinely warm and kind. We traveled from Chengde to Ulan Butong, and then came back to stay here for another two days. Highly, highly recommended. The standard room has two 1.5-meter beds.

"When I strolled around, I accidentally saw this homestay. In fact, I didn’t have too high expectations at first. It was close and then I booked it. Then I added the landlord’s WeChat introduction. The landlord was very detailed. The landlord was also very good. Many small tips and the like were very careful. I entered the door. It was really a surprise. The room was clean and tidy. And the faint fragrance is not a bad taste. There is no facilities in the house. The brand is very different from the B&B apartment on the Yuyue Mountain. This is really much better than that. Even it is said that it can't be put together. The supporting facilities are particularly complete. The top spray nozzle is washed. Clothing machine projector refrigerator The corridor space before entering the door may be smaller. I thought the sound insulation would be bad, but there is a saying that this sound insulation is really super good. The bedding is clean and comfortable. The toilet is also a smart toilet. In short, this is really an underestimated and serious homestay. It’s really a surprise. I live in peace of mind."

I cannot recommend this farmhouse enough! If you are visiting the Jinshanling Great Wall, staying here is an absolute must. The location is perfect, featuring a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can sit and look directly at the Great Wall in total peace. The room itself was modern, and clean, with a great AC, but set right in the middle of a charming, authentic farm.
But the absolute highlight of my stay was the host family. The hospitality is unmatched. The Owner Lady of the house cooked some of the most delicious, massive, and authentic meals I’ve had in China, and she went completely out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and well-fed. The food was also unbelievably affordable.
The Owner truly went above and beyond for me. When I was struggling to find a reasonably priced car back to Beijing, he spent hours late at night helping me on WeChat, making sure I wasn't overcharged by local drivers. He
eventually helped me find a cheap, highly scenic train route back to the city and personally drove me to the local station.
They treated a solo foreign traveler like absolute family. If you want a genuine, heartwarming, and frictionless experience at the Great Wall, book this place. 太好吃了 and 谢谢 to the amazing hosts!”

RobEmRadaThe boss, who speaks good english, picked me up from the Gubeikou station, we stopped to buy some snacks and water and then he took me to the start of Panlongshan trail. He told me directions to get to Jinshanling. Pretty straightforward, hard to go wrong, just follow the spraypaint and ribbons. After sunset I texted him and he picked me up at Jinshanling. Very delicious home cooked dishes, both dinner and breakfast, huge portions, cold beer! The room was big, comfy and modern, great mattress and bedding. The bathroom was big and modern with different controls for a nice shower. In the morning (4am) the boss arranged local transport to get to and from Jinshanling for sunrise. Don't miss it, the sun rising over an empty wall; hardly anyone around. The hotel is just a 5 minutes drive from the ticket station. I wish i could give more stars. Great memories! The combination of Panlongshan and Jinshanling is like a 100 times better then Badaling. Very easy to organise with the train and overnight stay. And this is the best hotel to do it.

MuzisanshengTraveling solo, I chose The Landy Hotel, and it perfectly matched my aesthetic. The overall design features a simple, natural wood style with no excessive decoration. The room layout felt relaxed and comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling window framed the garden view like a painting. The outdoor garden is meticulously maintained, with plants thoughtfully arranged and winding paths that make for a wonderfully quiet stroll, far from the hustle and bustle. The room was clean and tidy, the amenities felt high-quality, and the staff were very friendly. I felt incredibly peaceful staying here all day – it’s a great place to unwind and recharge alone. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Aranya.

The location is better, next to the half tiger line, it is very convenient to Bailitian Road and Yunzhong Grassland. Especially you can drive a few minutes towards the Yunzhong Grassland, you can find a mountain bag that is convenient to climb, and you can watch the sunrise and sunset.
The room is relatively clean and you can see the mountain view. Now the outdoor temperature difference is large, but the room has sufficient heating and hot water.
Parking is also convenient for eating, and the service attitude is good!

Guest UserI stayed at the Puning Hotel for two nights and three days, and it was an amazing value. The hotel has a traditional Chinese garden style, making you feel like you've stepped into a secluded paradise. On the rooftop, I enjoyed coffee, a gentle breeze, mountain views, and the sight of the Chan Temple – a perfect blend of classical and modern. Traveling solo, I visited museums, paid respects at the Chan Temple, explored the local market, and even fed the hotel's pet deer. It was a beautiful way to enjoy some leisure time away from my busy work life. The front desk, room service, and dining staff were all excellent, and the owner was very kind. All in all, it was love at first sight.

The room we were given was amazing, it had a great view, the beds were comfy, and had a nice spot to sit and eat breakfast each day. Speaking of, getting deliveries from ******* straight to our room was also really easy.
They also had really great service. When we first arrived we found the bedroom floor to be a little sticky, so we asked if they wouldn’t mind mopping it. That was done immediately, and we enjoyed the rest of our stay :) everything else was super clea

A person driving from Chifeng plans to go to Saihanba to see. Originally, this hotel was not my first choice, but I clicked to see the hotel environment taken by netizens, and I lived here immediately! When I arrived at the hotel, the beauty in the photo appeared in front of me. In fact, you don't have to go to the surrounding attractions to enjoy the surrounding blue sky, white clouds, green mountains and green waters. I took advantage of the sunset and drove the car near the lake of Yanming and took some photos with the grass lake. The waiters in the store are also very warm and thoughtful, and the inquiries about my understanding of the surrounding attractions are also detailed recommendations.
When I checked out, I ignored the toiletries that I brought in the bathroom, and the store also contacted me in time. Finally, I asked them to help me express it home, thank you very much~

Guest UserLocation is unbeatable!! The hotel is right before the entrance gate to the Jinshanling Great Wall cable car station and trail heads. You can actually hike up to good view points on the Great Wall injust 30-40 minutes. The hotel is in good condition. The room is mostly clean and well maintained. The AC works well. Toilet has a weird smell but didn't bother me that much. Wish they provided conditioner (only shampoo and shower gel were in the bathroom). Restaurant has many options for Chinese dishes and so is the buffet breakfast. If I come back, definitely book it again for the excellent location.

Guest UserI don’t speak Chinese, but the staff there were very friendly and helpful. From checking in to checking out, the front desk staff helped me like a personal assistant. She even scheduled a massage and taxi service. Local guests I met at the hot pools were also very nice and welcoming. This is somewhat old place, but I like places with history. Be aware of the large portion of dishes you get at the restaurant. I couldn’t finish all the dishes as a solo traveler.
