During the May Day holiday, I took my child on a trip. Since it was a temporary decision to go to Chengde, I booked a room on the evening of April 29. There were no parent-child rooms. I saw that there were two separate 1.35-meter single beds in the room and decided to put them together. The 2.7-meter bed was enough for a family of three (the child was about 1.4 meters). When I arrived at the hotel, I found that there were no children's products. I called the hotel front desk to ask for children's products and soon delivered special slippers, bath towels, toothbrushes, bath gel and a thin quilt for the child. They helped us put the two beds together into a huge big bed. Since there was a plan to put the bed together, I brought a small mattress and put it on the seam, which was really comfortable. The hotel gave us a bathing ticket in Rehe. My husband went there twice and said that if the room was really crowded, the bathing overnight was also an option. The hardware was good, but there were many details about the charges. The hotel also provided a heater, which made the room a lot more comfortable after 10 o'clock in the evening. People who check in later need to pay attention: the hotel does not have soap, the shower head has no rod, which means that in addition to the sun shower head, your handheld shower head can only be fixed at a height, there are no bathroom slippers but no bathroom anti-slip mat, so you can only go barefoot. Children need to pay half price for breakfast (more than 30 yuan per time). Try to get a room near the river for a better view!

Nice stay for 1 night in Chengde. Great service, free parking lots, friendly and helpful staff. Room, very clean, bright with a grand view to the river. Bathroom divided in tube/shower, toilet room and make-up space. Breakfast with a great choice of Chinese food. Just a few things related with international breakfast. The hotel is located not directly to many shops and restaurants. We took a taxi to the recommended restaurants and scenic places.

We were looking for a nice place to relax, spend some family time together away from a city and we found it here. The rooms are nicely decorated. The Chinese food - in particular the cold noodles for lunch and the different barbeque offered for dinner was very tasty. The service was excellent and the staff was always concerned about our needs - they even provided some coffee and toast early, early in the morning long before breakfast, as we had to leave early. We hope to come back again.

After booking for one night, I felt pretty good. I stayed in the original room for one night. I was thirsty in the middle of the night and went downstairs to buy water. I went upstairs and found that I couldn’t swipe the door card. I went downstairs and thought about seeing if I could solve it on the self-service machine. The result was very embarrassing to disturb the front desk. I was very reasonable and clear to solve my problem (although the door card still can’t be swiped, but the smart lady double-layer insurance is given WeChat door opening method) Because it is to continue to live, I want to take a bath towel and take a bath. The front desk will also send it up with a robot later. This time the 5 stars are completely for the front desk beauty. Dissatisfied is still cleaning. During the soft music in the room, the cleaning knocked on the door and said that it was sent to disposable supplies. I said no, I had already taken it. Cleaning still insisted that it was sent in to save me going to the front desk to ask. I don't know if there is any problem with the room communication. At this time, I was very dissatisfied. The newly opened B&B has a great environment. After comparing several, I finally chose this one. Xanadu, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, give restless heart a vacation. The room is at the foot of Jiguan Mountain. It takes only ten minutes to walk there. It is very pleasant to take a stroll after dinner. He also has mountain off-road vehicles and real CS. From the top of the mountain, you can overlook the high-tech zone. He can also camp here, and there are many interesting places in the camping area. The room is also very clean. The store manager is super nice. I look forward to staying there next time.

Unexpectedly, May Day was the first day of the re-opening. The room was new, no smell, smart home, and the overall evaluation was good. The disposable slippers were of poor quality and not waterproof at all. I hope this will be improved in the future. In addition, there was no clothes hanger in the room, which was a bit inconvenient. The other sound insulation was very good, and the hot water was sufficient. I hope it will be better after running for a while.

1. The room is spacious, and I especially like the large floor-to-ceiling windows. The green mountain scenery outside the window is pleasing to the eye. The night view is also very beautiful.
2. The service was very considerate. The front desk took the initiative to call us before we checked in and arranged an adjacent room for us and our parents near the elevator, which was very considerate.
3. Although breakfast is a buffet, the waiters are very diligent and take the initiative to help guests get food and tableware. They are not idle for a moment. Special thanks to the waiter Sun Lijing for taking very good care of my parents.

GGuest UserPerfect location, right next to the ticket check at Jinshanling wall. The rooms are spacy and clean, with good airco and heating. The bathroom is also clean and has a nice shower. Beds are a little hard for European standards, but we slept well!
The food they serve in the restaurant is really delicious! Well made and a lot of taste. Kung pao chicken and the potatoes with peppers were the bomb. Breakfast is Chinese.

GGuest UserThe stay experience was very good!!! The housekeeper of Anaya Lanye Hotel 1V1 did the service to the extreme. I would like to thank the housekeeper Miss Yuxuan! The whole hotel is in Japanese style, and the lobby and room decoration are very Japanese, fresh and elegant.
Two tickets to the main temple of Jianshan will be given upon check-in, free public soup for two people, breakfast is one of three choices (Japanese set meal of Xiaoye, Chinese breakfast of the first canteen and wild vegetable steamed dumplings and grains of Shangu Shiwei), coupons for spa discount of 100 per person, and two coffee coupons. Then because of my husband's birthday, an extra bottle of sake was given. When I left, I also gave hawthorn fruit and hand cream as souvenirs.
The facilities in the room are also very complete, and the hot spring clothes provided are very comfortable to wear. I wear them as pajamas! Although there is no TV, you can borrow a projector. A lot of drinks and snacks are provided for free, which can be refilled unlimitedly, and an extra one was given when I left. The room also provides a full set of tools for homemade desserts (water Shingen cakes and matcha), so that you can experience the fun of hands-on.
The hotel campus is not large, but it arranges a lot of rich activities, such as hiking, various handicraft classes, night lantern tours and stargazing, etc. There is also a shuttle bus to take you to the second phase at any time. The weekend stay is not boring. I will go there again during the summer vacation!

Service was good they told us about some tours they offer discounts on and a cool show about an emperor that has like 300 actors in it. Was cheaper than just buying it at the location
I booked this because my wife said it was more “central” it was not. Kind of in the middle of nowhere tho near a temple we did visit. The other hotels are near the river and you can walk and see some real nice bridges and lighted up streets.
The photos make the building look really cool. While the photos aren’t fake it’s way smaller than I thought it would be.
The room itself was kind of small. Like half the size of the phoenix hotel and is only 4 floors so not much of a view. Mine was of a parking lot.
Bathroom was nice the toilet was automatic and had a heated seat.
No breakfast. Bed wasn’t all that comfortable and not much of a view. Did have a shopping center next door and taxis stopped near it.
Kind of pricey but that was because of the 7 day holiday they had. I stayed at phoenix the week before and it was 200 rnb cheaper, nicer, more modern, twice the size, nicer shampoo/soap and had free breakfast.

GGuest UserHighly recommend. We live in China and have stayed in a few different cities/hotels now and this was by far the best. The building is historic and beautiful and extremely well maintained. The rooms feel brand new and are very thoughtfully laid out. The room comes with all kinds of small conveniences in case you forgot something or need something. The staff were all extremely helpful and welcoming, from the front office staff to the housekeeping to the repair men. We arrived late on a stormy night and they went out of their way to help us figure out dinner. When the weather got worse and spoiled our plans, the staff did everything they could to rescue the weekend, even at the hotels expense. We plan to come back again when the weather is nicer and will 100% stay here. I can't imagine why you would stay anywhere else, especially if you're there to sightsee. The hotel opens directly into the park, it's wonderful.

VVan DammeWhat stands out at the Farmhouse is the staff and their willingness and commitment to helping each visitor. The rooms may be a bit sparse, but the location and the people more than make up for it. From driving you to where you need to be, to making sure your stay is as functional and comfortable possible, the owners and their staff know how to get things done.
If you need a stay in this neighbourhood (and if you want to walk a lot this is a good idea) - stay here!

GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the summer resort. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the main entrance of the villa, and it is only a few minutes' taxi ride from the Waiba Temple. The lady at the front desk was enthusiastic and recommended discounted performance tickets and Bashang Grassland. I added the Rongrong Butler of their hotel on WeChat, which made it very convenient to consult if I had any questions. They sent me Chengde travel guide, which was very considerate. The room was clean and the restaurant was delicious. The security guard had a good and responsible attitude when directing the parking. We were given a plate of fruit when we checked in, and my son was given a small toy when we left. Overall satisfied and recommended.

GGuest UserI am a person who has high requirements for accommodation. I brought my children here and focused on cleanliness. After a week of online selection, I finally decided on this hotel. After arriving in Chengde, I found that no hotel is as good as Hilton.
Xiaoqing and Jingjing at the front desk of the hotel provided very good service, very warm, attentive and thoughtful. The location of the hotel is very good.
The family room was upgraded for free. The hotel has its own parking space, which is free. Otherwise, parking is too difficult. It is a 5-minute walk from the Summer Resort. There are many places to eat downstairs, and there is also a night market.

LLEEPKJOThe only hotel inside the jinshanling great wall. Next to the entrance of the ticket and cable car station. Only 1 Chinese restaurant that served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices of the food are reasonable and portions are huge. Room is as per the picture. We have 2 rooms, 1 facing car park and 1 mountain. No greatwall view as is hidden behind the mountain.
Service is excellent, they will provide pick up service from tourist centre and east gate entrance. We walked from the central to the east and contacted them via WeChat to pick us up from there. When we checked out, they told them we wanted to go a restaurant near the tourist centre, they did the extra mile to send us there instead of just alighting at the tourist centre.
Staff are extra friendly. I saw them looking for 4 guests who dine at the restaurant the night before who dropped at 100yuan. The next morning when we were there for breakfast, they checked whether did we sat at the table for dinner last night. They were still searching for the guests to return the money. Super honest!
However, cleanliness can be improved, the ceiling fan was super dusty. Behind the hotel, next to the greatwall entrance, there are some farmers restaurants and mingshu too.

AAnonymous UserI would like to highlight three things in which I felt were very pleasant during my stay at the lodging.
First, I was pleasantly surprised at the service they offered. When my family and I were staying at lodging, the workers were extremely heartwarming and kind. They were willing to answer any questions we had about the attractions nearby and even drove us to the Jinshan Ling Great Wall of china Nearby.
Second, I would like to highlight the amenities and activities offered at the lodging. Although we only scratched the surface of the activities they offered. The lodging provided us with countless options. From having a mini movie theatre as well as pool & billiards room, they also offered a wide range of outdoor adventures such as kayaking and fishing which will surely enrich your stay there. Furthermore, the amenities themselves at the room we were staying in were exceptional. The lodging was spacious and provided us with separate rooms to stay in, making our stay an extremely pleasant one.
Lastly, I would like to highlight the food at the lodging itself. At every lodging one books I’m sure one would look forward to having delectable food right within a stone’s throw away. Needless to say, the food offered by the lodging from breakfast to dinner was both delicious and affordable.
I would highly recommend booking a stay here should you want to visit the attractions in the area but don’t forget to take time to enjoy and experience the adventures offered by the lodging too!

RRODBy far the best accommodation in Chengde, in relation between price and quality. The service was amazing!!! I don't know how much money the reception ladies make, but they deserve a raise, every single time I had a question they were able to answer, from places to go, to places to eat. Limited english support, of course, but a translation app does the job. The room I stayed in was male-only. The beds all had curtains, an indoor light, and a private plug for charging, so no complaints. The in-room bathroom was always clean aswell.
The only con would be the amenities, no towel, no toothbrush, but I had brought my own so not a problem for me, and this is begging to look like common practice at hostels worlwide. And you need to make your own bed. Aside from that everything was perfect.
