i love how clean it is and how the room is designed for a comfortable stay. the room is exceptionally clean and every furniture looked very new. other than the location which requires slightly longer than other central hotels, i think the value of this hotel is very high. furthermore, there are direct trains and buses to central areas, so it isn't a big issue. the real issue is actually food options. though there are nearby options, but the fact that a convenience store is 1 street away and there's no groceries store nearby, sometimes it can be difficult to get food. otherwise, the food at level 1 restaurant has very good options (but short hours). the reception staff is very approachable and helpful.

The hotel was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We were so lucky to be able to check in directly when we arrived at noon! It's also very close to the bus stop, so a group of us arriving from the airport could quickly get there by bus without paying expensive airport fees – super cost-effective! Getting into the city by train from Mascot was also very fast!!

This hotel is walking distance to a lot of stores and food . 5 -8 mns walk to paddy’s market ,china town ,tiktok entertainment and town hall train station but theres also a   Regular tram in georges street, one train ride from the airport , circular quay where the harbour ,opera house and wharf tours going to the zoo. Chemist warehouse and coles just few blocks . I also had an emergency while in sydney lucky theres a couple of medical places nearby too. For tourist theres a money changer nearby chemist ..hotel is also clean !reception both night and morning are all friendly did not tried the buffet for me who leaves in OZ $37 a bit pricey when theres a lot of resto around …i would recommend this hotel  100 percent

Hotel is very close to Central Station so going around town is super convenience without a car. Room I booked is small but very clean with daily housekeeping. Price is quite competitive compared to most hotels with similar amenities. Coffee and tea drinks are available 24x7 and free breakfast snack and fruits in the morning. There is no parking on site but there are couple of parking places for 45-49 dollars a day. I will stay here again if I'm in Sydney next time.

I had great experience in Rydges World Sq. Location is convenient, only 3min walk from museum St. Room is big and clean with a nice balcony. I had several lunch and dinner in hotel’s restaurant, especially for Amber, all the dishes met my expectation, steak, brrnmuddi, sides, everything. And if you opt not to clean room, every day you got 10dollar quota for F&B in hotel’s restaurant, very nice offer. Special thanks to Amber staff, very kind service.

The location of this hotel is excellent—it’s very convenient to get around. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The only downside was that the room was quite small, making it difficult to find enough space for our luggage. Overall, it was still a pleasant stay.

I thought this hotel was great! Friendly staff at check in, the bar and cleaning staff. Rooms were comfy with appropriate amenities for this class of hotel and price point. Breakfast was repetitive, but the taste was good. Our bed was 2 singles pushed together which I think the hotel should think about changing as it was clear when you fell into the crevice between them. Didn’t use the pool or gym because of the weather, but would. Easy access to metro, Oxford Street and other downtown areas.

I highly recommend the Novotel Sydney Darling Harbour! The overall experience was superb, and the service was exceptionally attentive. The front desk offers Chinese-speaking staff, and a lovely girl from Suzhou was particularly warm and thoughtful, proactively helping with various issues and kindly sharing local travel tips. This makes the hotel very friendly to Chinese tourists. The hotel's location is excellent, backing onto Chinatown and right next to Darling Harbour Pier, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. Plus, it's a pick-up point for local day tour groups, which makes joining tours very hassle-free. Both the convenience of travel and the service experience are impeccable. For Chinese friends visiting Sydney, I highly recommend choosing this hotel.

It's in a great location and the unit is quite spacious but unfortunately that's about as good as it gets. Parking is an extra fee which I didn't see mentioned anywhere and despite booking through trip.com reception takes a $200 security deposit. There's no direct access to the units from the parking garage and no lifts to higher levels. We had a lot of luggage as a family of 6 but it was manageable for us as we were on ground floor it might be an issue for people on higher floors. The receptionist said ”Oh, you've got a nice room!” So we had high hopes. The unit presented well at first but there were no mesh screens on the doors or windows so we couldn't open them to get any fresh air, the shower door in the ensuite didn't close properly and the floor gets soaked, even with the exhaust on in the main bathroom it filled up with so much condensation after a morning shower that the walls and floor were wet all day resulting in both me and my youngest child slipping over. Luckily neither of us were hurt. We were only given 4 towels even though I put 6 people on our booking details and we were in a room that sleeps 6. There was a cigarette lighter left on the bed head, smashed coffee mug under the vanity in one of the bathrooms, food packets/rubbish under the couches, hole in the wall, window missing a piece of trim. There was something on the couch so I used a baby wipe to wipe it off and the entire wipe was black so I don't think the couches ever get wiped over. We were there for 4 nights 5 days and housekeeping came to our unit once. As all 6 of us were all inside at the time I said ”there's just some rubbish and one bed that needs clean sheets please” The ladies did those things then asked if we'd like them to vacuum, I said yes please and they left, I assumed to get the vacuum, but they didn't come back. On our 1st morning we were walking down to the parking and noticed 3 used syringes in the garden outside our unit, we told reception and the man said ”someone probably dropped them” We made it clear to him that they were used and had exposed tips. When we arrived back that afternoon, they were still in the garden and in fact still there days later when we checked out.

This is my second stay. The last time was before the pandemic. I feel that the hotel has not changed much overall, but there are some minor adjustments. There is a pungent smell of spray paint in the corridor near the room. After I told the front desk, I immediately changed the room and gave a bottle of red wine. The only thing I think is that the hotel parking is expensive.
