GGuest UserWe originally had a very good experience at this hotel and were hoping to return in the future. However, the morning we checked out left us extremely upset. We had an urgent matter at the bank and could not check out by 10:00 a.m. At 10:30, we received a notice from the hotel asking us to check out immediately, otherwise a late charge would apply if we stayed until 1:00 p.m. I replied right away, explaining that we were handling something important and hoped to return by 12:00 noon. Suddenly, we were told that even between 11:00–12:00 there would be a late charge. We rushed back immediately, but the front desk staff gave us unfriendly looks and treated us poorly. We expressed that we did not understand why the late charge policy was not clearly explained from the beginning, and then prepared to return to our room to collect our luggage. Even at that point, the ********* male employee continued to show a hostile attitude. All the staff at the front desk kept pressuring us to pack up and leave, and none of them showed any courtesy. We acknowledge that we were late, but the staff kept repeating the checkout policy without any kindness or flexibility. After staying three nights, we expected at least a little goodwill. Instead, another of the front desk staff, male employee, even threatened to call the police. We did not use violence—we were only arguing about their poor attitude. Calling the police to solve or arrest us for complaining your poor service? Is this really your standard of hospitality? It is so ridiculous. When we voiced our dissatisfaction and anger at the attitude of the two male staff members, one female colleague suddenly laughed. At such a moment, should she really be laughing while looking at us? What we felt was not friendliness, but ridicule. If this is your usual standard of service and way of handling incidents, we truly feel helpless and disappointed. Possibly your management does not care about the service standards at all, which is why such unprofessional staff are employed. This incident seriously affected our mood and disrupted the rest of our trip. It is truly incomprehensible and unacceptable.

Ccxssxlynnamazing almost unbeatable facilities! fully equipped unit which really helped us save lots of money by cooking. washer, coffee machine, induction stoves, pots and pans, kettle, dishwasher, microwave, chopping board and knives, cutlery/utensils, fridge with freezer, chiller and veg compartments. they even provide dishwashing powder and laundry powder. smart TV was great as well, beds were comfy. service was super friendly and helpful as well. they even have a pilates studio and a gym in this hotel. we had the best stay in this spacious room and we’ll definitely be back if we ever visit australia again!

AAnonymous UserWe stayed for 8 nights with our 3-year-old toddler, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Location: Perfect. We walked easily from the train station after arriving from Sydney Airport. The hotel is within a 10-minute walk to Darling Harbour, about 15 minutes to Wildlife Sydney and SEA LIFE, and right next to Darling Square park. Plus, Coles, Priceline, Chemist Warehouse, and everything else we needed were just minutes away. Room layout: We booked a one-bedroom apartment with a living room, balcony, large kitchen, and lovely bathroom. The space was huge – ideal for a family. The dining table was a real bonus, and the kitchen had everything we needed. I was able to cook breakfast and dinner for our toddler each day, so we didn’t have to eat out every night. That saved us time, money, and hassle. Service: Housekeeping came almost every day, and the customer service from the entire team was fantastic – everyone was so friendly and helpful. If you’re travelling with a young child and want space, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere, I would absolutely recommend Rydges Darling Square Apartment Hotel. We’ll be back!

WWuji❤️yingThis hotel is quite central. The parking entrance is a bit tricky; it's the leftmost lane, actually the entrance to the World Square car park. This setup is different from traditional car park entrances in China, which caused us to miss it and drive around the city center in circles. The hotel's dedicated parking is on level 3 (which is actually underground). When you enter the car park, you go down from levels 7, 6, 5, and so on. If you're driving to the hotel, you need to go to level 3. Be sure to follow the signs to the hotel's parking level on level 3 (different hotels use different levels for their private parking, so don't get confused). Once you've parked on level 3 in the hotel's dedicated parking, there's an elevator right next to it that takes you directly to the hotel's front desk on the L floor. Parking is expensive: AUD 60 for a weekend day and AUD 70 on weekdays. You pay by scanning a QR code. I hope this helps anyone driving themselves. Everything else was fine. Parking in Sydney is really, really expensive if you're driving yourself. 😂

YYujideyuCleanliness: So-so, lacking in detail. There was still dust on the hairdryer cover. Facilities: The bedding was way too soft, not ideal for Chinese people. When one person lies on it, it just sags.

GGuest UserAbsolutely comfortable and nice room, and there’s some free water soaked with fresh fruit in the grand design lobby just in the entrance area which is good👍🏽 And it takes 10mins walk to Central Station and quite convenient to go to many spots in Sydney Center

Ggu****The hotel's location is excellent. Within a 5 to 10-minute walk, you can reach Chinatown, Paddy's Market, Darling Square, Darling Harbour, and Central Station. The room size was adequate, and it was clean and tidy upon arrival, with daily housekeeping being prompt and thorough. The front desk service was also on point. However, there are a few minor drawbacks: 1. The lighting in the lobby area isn't great; it's generally too dim and looks like it needs a refurbishment. Hopefully, they'll update it soon. 2. We believe our room was in the newer extension of the hotel. There's a noticeable difference in floor levels between the two buildings, and the connection between them is entirely stairs, which is really inconvenient when you have luggage. This also needs an update. 3. The flooring under the carpet in our room was bulging in places and requires maintenance.

KKS09AYEHS Hotel Sydney Harbour Suites was one of the better hotels we booked in Sydney. We booked about a month in advance, and everything looked well managed. Because we booked early, we got a room with a separate bed and sofa area for a similar price to other small-room hotels — that probably made the stay feel better. The lobby area was nice, and the reception staff were professional. They also offered free coffee and cookies at the lobby, which was a pleasant touch. Check-in time is around 2 pm, so it’s good to plan your arrival accordingly. The staff kindly allowed us early check-in by about an hour. Similar to other YEHS hotels, they mentioned social media promotion, but they did not check before allocating the room. The staff were polite, helpful, and even kept our luggage safely when we arrived early. The location is very good – close to Pyrmont Bridge and the CBD area. It’s an good walk to the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The way to the CBD has a short uphill walk but is not difficult for most people. Overall, a comfortable stay in a convenient and pleasant area.

JJasonpingpingananThe lobby is great, with greenery, a lounge area, and drinks. The room is relatively large and clean, but check-in isn't until after 2:00 PM. There's a bus stop outside where you can transfer to a train, and it's within walking distance of the train station. There's also a supermarket right outside.
