JJ小米I accidentally booked this hotel and found out it was non-cancellable when I tried to cancel, so I had no choice but to stay. Overall, it was okay; the room was a bit small but quite tidy and clean. The front desk staff were very friendly. The restaurant was under renovation during our stay, so we were given vouchers to have breakfast at the hotel across the street. Clearly, for an extra AUD$80 a day, we could have stayed somewhere much better. The hotel hallways had no air conditioning and were very stuffy and hot. However, there was a free coffee machine downstairs with complimentary coffee. The swimming pool looked dirty though, and no one was using it. The location is a bit far from the Reef Terminal, about a 17-minute walk.

SSarah Kay DenmanGreat pool, very clean , excellent breakfast , yummy cocktails , dinner was amazing.  Only one thing bad was the pool sun lounges, the are very uncomfortable I had to sit in a bean bag.  Just to add gluten free eating for coeliacs was great seperate toaster for breaky and freshly cooked eggs and bacon on request. Very happy !!

SSteveandTashaWe stayed here in 2024 and loved it so much that we come back this year ! It's situated in a great location, next door to Cairns Central so shopping was literally on our doorstep. The rooms are lovely and clean, there are 3 great swimming pools, and it's a nice walk to the esplanade where you can have a lovely walk into the centre and you'll have a great selection of eateries to choose from. Happy hour is offered by a lot of places, so we personally enjoyed having a drink and watching the sightseeing helicopter land right in front of you and watching the sun set ,it's just the best! It's also a pleasant walk to the Cock and Ball Pub going the other way but make sure you're hungry though because the meals are huge!!

Ssolo travellerEverything about this hotel is exceptional. The only downside was the room that I was given was on the top floor and the noise from either some sort of pump or the outside unit of the air condition was so overwhelming that I couldn't sleep well all night.

GGuest UserI will review from a Japanese perspective. Stayed in early May. Pros - Great location - All the front desk staff are kind - The barbecue set that you can borrow for free includes many types of tongs, oil, salt, and pepper - Soft toilet paper - Many types of coffee and tea are available. There is also milk in the refrigerator - A wide variety of bathroom amenities such as shampoo and moisturizing balm - The bathtub is large. The hot water comes out quickly, so you can fill it up quickly - Drinking water is provided at the front desk, so it was nice that I didn't have to buy it separately The information I wanted was not clearly stated in advance (It would have been even better if the following issues had been resolved, but overall I was very satisfied.) - No pajamas or bathrobes - No microwave - No knives or tableware included in the barbecue set (I bought steak meat, but I didn't have a knife and couldn't bite it) - No spray-type deodorant

CcalifragileThe room facilities are relatively old and the lights are dim. Slippers and toothbrushes are not provided. Shower gel and shampoo are of poor quality. The room was on the first floor and there was noise. It should be the sound of the air conditioner engine or other machinery. The breakfast is simple and does not provide the delicacies of various countries. It only has bread, fruits and some drinks. A separate deposit of 50 AUD is required upon check-in, or 100 AUD in cash.

GGuest UserFirst of all, this is not a 5* Hotel and is not trying to be. This is a budget place to stay and with that in mind, I thought it was great. The rooms were large enough, had a table and chairs, kettle, fridge, microwave, cutlery, the most amenities so far in 4 months of travelling. On top of that, there is a modest pool and a large cooking area that has utensils which was really useful for us budget travellers. The location is as good as we could have got, 30 mind walk to the train station and harbour, an hour walk from the airport. The place also has parking. Although - it was a little dirty and rusty in places - there were lots of tiny roaches which comes with the territory, but still worth mentioning - there were 3 floors in our block, each with a toilet, our toilet was cleaned but no toilet paper replenished for the 3 days we were there
