"I was on a work trip and stayed here for a week. It was a good location close enough to the center but also at a good distance if you prefer non-touristy travelling like me. The person at the receptionist guided me to some good local restaurants nearby. The guard and housekeeping person were also very supportive to me with laundry. The balcony is noisy since its the main road which is normal. I enjoyed early mornings and late night at the balcony watching people go about their day. The balcony door blocks out the noise when you're in the room. I wish there was a small fan provided, in case you want to turn off the AC sometimes. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay. I had a nice conversation with the guard while waiting for my cab via Google translate. I'm glad I chose this apartment for my trip. I will come stay again if I have the chance to. Here are some things you could try at walking distance from this apartment - Long Waits Jazz Club, Èp Station coffee (opp the apt), Lermalemer Cafe (if you want a quaint reading/work time or even a nap), Bun Cha Sin Tu (for bun cha), Van Mieu (Temple of Literature)."

"The hotel contacted me on WhatsApp before our stay to offer tours to other cities since they’re also a travel agency. We didn’t reply, but when we arrived after a long flight, instead of checking us in right away, the staff still tried to sell us some tours. I didn’t really mind, but I was tired and wouldn’t book anything last minute anyway. The elevator is quite slow, and even with it, you still have to go down one flight of stairs to reach your room. As soon as we opened the door, there was a strong unpleasant smell. The staff said it was because they had just cleaned and suggested we leave the door open for several minutes — not ideal when all you want to do is rest. They provide complimentary water, coffee, and tea, and breakfast is included. However, the breakfast spread is the same every day, and the bread is already pre-toasted, so it’s cold by the time you get to the small dining area. If you come down late, there’s usually not much food left. Basic toiletries like towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and shampoo are provided. The bathroom has a bidet, but the shower’s water pressure is quite weak. Note that the hotel is **not accessible by car** — taxis will drop you off nearby, and you’ll have to walk a bit and find your way via Google Maps. The location is very central, just a one-minute walk to St. Joseph’s Cathedral and surrounded by many restaurants, cafés, and spas. It may look a bit sketchy at first, but this seems typical for the Old Quarter area. Soundproofing is poor — you can hear noise from the street and even from the next room. Some balusters on the staircase are coming loose, and there were red hairs in the shower area, which suggests it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. The facilities overall feel quite old. If you’re particular about cleanliness and comfort, this hotel might not meet your expectations. But if you just need a cheap, central place to crash for a night or two, it’s manageable."

"Recommend this hotel! Great clean, large rooms and staff are lovely. Pool is VERY refreshing and breakfast is very varied and delicious. On another note - I want to say a MASSIVE thank you to the travel service this hotel provides. I have never received such wonderful, prompt communication and we did a 10 day trip (many different excursions) at a very competitive price. Even when there was a hiccup with dates, he staff work tirelessly to rectify - even at 10pm!!! Highly recommend this stay - yes, some night can be slightly noisy but earplugs are provided and we slept soundly. We knew we wanted to stay central and knew the risks of that!"

"The location is very good, close to the Japanese town, there are many cafes around, and there is a convenience store. The facilities are washlets, and the Japanese business hotel is wide in comparison with the price, and the cleanliness is Japanese level. The hospitality was perfect and the information bulletin was easy to understand. The breakfast was a little higher than a Japanese business hotel, and the ginger-grilled set meal was really delicious. The young female staff speaks cute Japanese hard to relieve their hearts."

"Thank you for a wonderful stay at the hotel. We stayed in two-room apartments. It was very clean and cozy, with everything you need and even more than in more expensive hotels. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our questions. If we ever return to Hanoi, we'll definitely come back. Hot water is available everywhere, and the air conditioning works great. The lake is right outside the windows, and there are various cafes nearby. If you have any questions, please contact the staff, and they will be happy to help you with any questions you may have."

"The location is quite good, it’s in old quarter and walking distance to many popular sites, so this is a plus. The reception people were so nice, they have different people on different shifts, all of them were so friendly and polite. After we firstly checked in and stayed the first night, the air conditioning in our room stopped working. So we informed the reception and they kindly changed our room. The breakfast was not too bad. Basic but for the price paid, I can not compliant, there were fresh fruits and a choice of freshly cooked omelette or chicken pho. It is good value for what we paid. Staff started working very early and they could be loud in the building. I was woken up by them on a few occasions. On some nights, we had a gecko friend visiting us, we like it, it looks cute and harmless. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, because its value for money and reception people were so friendly and nice."

"This was on top of my bed, and I don’t wanna know what it is. The water bottle in the room was basically empty so I had to buy my own. Other than that it was good. I even did some cooking in the kitchen, the smart tv was great too I was able to watch my movies and go on YouTube. The highlight was the receptionist, very nice and kind. They should make sure the room is very clean before a guest arrives but I’d be willing to go there again. 👍🏽"
