The hotel is generally clean, but the room is very small. Getting to it from the nearest public transport station is difficult because the area is steep. Breakfast is included, but the options are very limited; however, what is available is excellent and fresh. I was very bothered by the steep incline, but overall the stay was somewhat satisfactory.

Clean, cozy hotel in the historic center, right next to the metro. The room was spotless, with daily cleaning and fresh linens and towels. No smoke smell at all. The staff were polite and very helpful. Good breakfast too.

We had a very pleasant stay in Istanbul. The location is excellent, very convenient to explore the city and close to many attractions. The room was very clean, the bed was very large and extremely comfortable, which made it easy to rest after a long day of sightseeing. The bathroom was also very good and well maintained. Breakfast was included and it was a great way to start the day, with a good variety of options. We also want to highlight the staff. They were very kind, welcoming, and always willing to help us with anything we needed. Their assistance made our stay even better. Overall, it’s a hotel that is definitely worth it. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Its very very amazing hostel , the big hidden gem arround hagia sophia for Travelers , the receptionist is very friendly to their customer and very care about them , There is kitchen with all set things you need , toilets is very clean and the bed is so comfort , i dont believe with the price because is too cheap for this hostel with big Value , good job for all officer Its Very very recommended for travelers

Fabulous little hotel/hostel just 500 meters from Taksim Square. The location is excellent, from the square you can reach every corner of Istanbul, also the Asian side. I stayed for 4 nights in a four bed room, delicious breakfast included. I paid around 12 $ pr night. This is one of the best deals I have had in any place I have visited. The staff is nice and the rooms and common areas are very OK. I can safely recommend this to anyone who is traveling on a budget and wants to explore Istanbul.

Good afternoon! We traveled with a child, everything was great, the hotel was simple but nice, clean, we stayed for one night, there's a pier nearby, 5 minutes away, you can take a ride along the Bosphorus, and the Kodikoy metro station is also nearby, which is very convenient to Sabiha Airport - a direct line takes 50 minutes and you arrive at the airport! The staff is very friendly!

I was fortunate enough to have a room with a view of the Bosphorus, and it was nothing short of breathtaking. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast served each morning. The spread was diverse, with a wide range of Turkish and international options. It was the perfect way to start my day of exploring Istanbul. Taksim Green House also offers easy access to Istanbul's top attractions, including the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. This was my first stop in Istanbul, and it was an excellent choice. I had a very comfortable and secure stay. The hostel's location is fantastic; after exploring Beyoğlu all day, it was so easy to find my way back, and returning felt just like coming home every evening. The mixed quad room was great; I shared it with a very polite Australian guy, and we had some friendly chats. He even gave me some recommendations for places to visit. The common area downstairs also had a nice vibe. One evening, the guy at the front desk saw me writing, and he kindly brought over some Turkish tea and delicious snacks his mom made. Overall, it was a superb hostel experience, and I'm sure I'll stay here again on my next visit.

I stayed for two days and was overall pleased. The location is incredible: there's a great street nearby with good cafes and restaurants for every taste, including plenty of seafood. The waterfront promenade is literally two minutes away, offering stunning views. There's also a modern European coffee shop nearby with delicious coffee. Honestly, I don't understand the value for money, and I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews. The hotel is far from perfect—there are some areas that could be improved. But overall, for the price of a hostel, you get your own private room with a double bed and a private bathroom. The only thing I would really like to see is bars on the windows or some additional security, as the floor is low and I'm a little concerned about the safety of my belongings. Although the area is fairly quiet, I didn't notice anything suspicious. A lot of things were slightly broken, and the smell of cigarettes was quite annoying—the room smelled noticeably of smoke. Overall, everything was almost as described in other reviews. But I repeat: for this price, I don't think you'll find a better option. If your goal is to come and spend a few nights without breaking the bank, this is an excellent choice, especially if you're alone.
