Find 2-Star Hotels in Hakone

A small and exquisite Japanese-style hotel. The location of the hotel is very good. It is very close to the pirate ship and the starting point of the ropeway, Togendai. You can clearly see Mt. Fuji at the entrance of the hotel. The hotel lobby is also very elegant, and the surrounding murals are all in Chinese style. The tatami mats in the Japanese-style room are large enough to accommodate three people. The hotel's reception staff are very friendly and can provide every convenience. In addition, this hotel is also very close to the Senjihara Meadow, one of the 50 scenic spots in Hakone, and the autumn scenery is spectacular.

Hotel located on top of the hillside which offer fantastic view of lake Ashinoko with the Mount Fuji as backdrop . Travelers can either require hotel pick up when reached at Togenda station (ropeway)from Hakone-Yumoto station train by bus. I chosen the room with lake & Mount Fuji view for 3nights . Unfortunately, due the gloomy & cloudy sky and snowing day , view from my room wasn’t great ! Travels need to make reservation in advance & pay 2000yen for 1/2hour used of hotspring . I would like to thanks the front desk whom was really very helpful and always offered drop off & pickup services during my stayed . Bear in mind that , this hotel doesn’t has in house restaurant or cafe . Travelers can place your meals in advance with front desk OR ask to drop off to the nearest restaurant around there or take a walk about 20mins to the restaurants place.

It is a hotel with a sense of history and a great outdoor environment. The room facilities are indeed a bit old, but the scenery outside and the old hot springs can make up for it a little. If you are particularly concerned about the hotel's sanitary facilities, it is not recommended to stay here, but it is still worth recommending if you want to experience history. In addition, the food is very good!

The hotel is easy to find. It's right next to the station. The transportation is convenient. You have to walk up a small slope. If you have luggage, the boss will help you carry it. It should be a self-run hotel. It is very warm and friendly. We just wanted it to be convenient so we could store our luggage and go on a day trip, and just pick up our luggage when we left. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The rooms are on tatami. I like the authentic Japanese style. My kids and I like it the most because it has its own natural hot spring. The Japanese-style hot spring has separate male and female pools, which is very down-to-earth. When you are tired after walking for a day, you can go directly to the hot springs. The pure natural hot spring water does not need to be heated. It flows directly into the pool from the mountain. Remember to be early. It ends at 9 pm, but you can continue to soak at 7 am. It was just released in the morning. The water is extremely hot. Remember to bring water when you go to the hot springs, or bring money to buy it at the vending machine. My kids and I liked this hotel very much. We stayed one night and soaked in hot springs twice. If we come to Hakone again next time, we will book this hotel to stay for two more days.

The hotel is located just off the big platform, not far away, just follow the navigation for a while. A relatively cheap store, good value for money, the store does not have Chinese, but the body language is enough. It is convenient to go to the big platform station for breakfast. It is difficult to find the best breakfast at the hotel. There is a convenience store nearby.

Traditional family-style Japanese hot spring hotel, good service, breakfast is slightly light, but it is also a good experience to experience Japanese family breakfast. The hot spring is comfortable and hygienic, and the overall environment is beautiful, suitable for family travel. Will go again in the future!

The location is very close to the big platform station, it is not easy to find on the small road, the interior style is very Japanese, and the receptionist is also very enthusiastic. There are two public baths and the house is a bit old.

It really feels like living in my own home. The grandparents at the hotel are very kind. Although the communication is a bit difficult, the room has a small living room and bedroom. The space is quite large. Breakfast and dinner are also amazing. The location is also very close to the bus station. In short, the C P value is very high.

A very pleasant visit to kind, simple and peaceful people. I like a lot the location of the homestay, out of the center, up hill, need to move your ass to reach it. The hottest onsen I’ve been haha but also the most comfy as it’s private. I miss Rum already, what a nice dog, same as all the staff. A really worthy stop in Hakone with local people who feel real in an area full of tourism. Thanks a lot for taking care of my bags after my check in, those gestures are the ones that really count!
