Check Hakone Hotels with Balcony

I wish I could give it 5 stars! Let's start with the bad - the hotel thought of just about everything except effective soundproofing. It was unpleasant to hear the traffic at all times when in the room even with the balcony closed, but you could find a way to accept it. What really killed it was 2 evenings in a row hearing a kid running above you for .5-1 hr at a time and being woken up in the middle of the night twice because someone decided to enjoy their onsen on their balcony and was talking and laughing loudly. We stayed for 5 nights and the weekend was the worst as the hotel had a higher occupancy rate. Without that...there is no good, there is only great: - Check-in is private, seated in the lobby with welcoming refreshments - Private onsen on your balcony (in addition to the large one for all guests) - amazing! - Room accommodations very well appointed with numerous amenities and very spacious - Parking available on your room level very convenient (not all, but some... we stayed on 4th floor so even exit from garage was available on our floor) - Restaurants - we had breakfast which had great options and service, we also enjoyed a room service for dinner which offered ability to order from multiple of restaurants. We didn't have dinner in the restaurants as we didn't find the menus appealing for all in our party. - Location is great, short walk to most things you'd want to do in Atami, across the street from a beach (not a great one, but people use it) and relatively easy to get out by car (especially if you ignore GPS directions that guide to tiny streets)

The Japanese style room is so spacious and user-friendly. Looking out from the room, the treeline is so Zen. You can get free ice creams from the lobby, as well as tea, beer and coffee. Excellent services.

Hotel Indigo was recommended to us by a co-worker. She raved about how much she enjoy her stay, so we decided to visit for our Anniversary. We loved everything about this hotel from check in to check out, everything was amazing. The hotel staff always made us feel welcome, by greeting us (by name most of the time) whenever we were out and about in the hotel. Hannah checked us in. She was nice and provided us with information about the area. We had the breakfast included in our stay. The restaurant manager Koji-san was awesome. While not a picky eater, I do like my eggs cooked a certain way...lol.. On the first day of breakfast, my eggs were not cooked to my liking. When my plate was taken, Koji-san noticed that I did not eat my eggs. He immediately came to our table and inquired about the eggs. I told him that they were too soft for me. He apologized and asked if I had enough to eat and said that he would like to try again the next morning. I thought this was such a kind gesture. For the next 4 days, my eggs were cooked exactly how I like them. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It is a bit pricey, but the chef is very good. The salmon and asparagus were my favorites. Our anniversary was on the 22nd and we received a call from the front desk asking if they could bring us a gift for our anniversary. They brought us an assortment of sweet treats, which we enjoyed with a cup of tea. Very sweet. Our room was spacious, clean with the perfect temperature. The television was the largest that I have seen a Japanese hotel. Our room was on the riverside with a private outdoor onsen. While relaxing in the onsen, you can hear the calming sounds of the river. There is also a foot soak in the garden area. it was a bit to cold outside for me, so I didn't get to enjoy it on this stay. The hotel was cleaned thoroughly and safety precautions were taken. All of staff wore masks and for breakfast, we were provided with gloves to get continental items from the buffet. All tables were wiped down immediately after a party left and were socially distanced. The hotel is in close proximity to just about everything. During our 5 day stay, we visited The Open Air Museum, the Venetian Glass Garden, Gora Park, and The Red Gate of Peace. We will definitely be returning and look forward to our next stay in the Spring.

The hotel is near nothing, so be prepared to take the shuttle to Odawara Station (40 minutes) or Nebukawa Station (7 minutes). The Odawara shuttle doesn't operate on the weekends and only runs between 10-5 pm on weekdays. The rooms have furniture that is stained and in need of an upgrade, and there are no USB ports in the rooms. All that being said, the facility is great for kids! The pool area is more like a water park with a huge bubbling pool, several calm circular pools, a bubble chair pool, an indoor/outdoor pool, and a hot tub cave. And if you aren't in the mood for swimming, they have an arcade with claw machines, gatcha machines, karaoke rooms, and a full bowling alley. The restaurants were very accommodating to our vegetarian needs but had limited choices. Overall, I would stay here again just for the pool experience - it was that good!

Great hotel located near Gora station. It was a lovely stay in a very traditional Japanese hotel. The highest score for me goes to the staff who are very friendly and helpful. I stayed an extra night in a different booking and did not need to check in again. Very efficient reception. They were also very accommodating to my friend who is vegetarian. The hotel needs some modernisation but that is part of the charm. Great place and lovely holiday in Hakone.

In Kyoritsu Resort, it is the most popular and favorite inn of my home. The lobby lounge was crowded, so I relaxed because I had coffee until check-in on a large terrace outside the lounge. From this terrace, you can see the forest tree 々 and it is designed to hear the sound of the water. Even after the next morning's bath, I came to the lounge and drank morning coffee and cold black bean tea. The coolness of the terrace outside is relieved when the hot water is up. The green leaves are still beautiful, and with the sound of water, it is really healed. When I went to a bath with a large bath, the basket in the dressing room was a locker type. The locker pattern was bamboo or bamboo, and it was dark peppermint color and white (Hawaii?), and it did not match the atmosphere of the original ancient bath at all. When I returned to the room and visited the locker with me, I said, ”it's cheap”, and I feel completely the same. I don't see such a pattern even in day trip hot water. As I said that the chair of the hot water (drinking milk) was lost, I had a rest place with a TV at the end (the opposite direction to the elevator). Also, the morning lactic acid beverage was changed to this place. The bath was in the morning of the next morning, and after a long time, I went to the rental open-air bath. It's nice to feel like a bath in the forest (just a bath). Also, when you go to another large bath, you still use a basket in the dressing room (there is a locker for the key of the room), strange tropical? I was relieved that I didn't become a locker. This is also an ancient bath. Dinner was the quietest seat in the back when I put a quiet seat and a request. The content of the meal and the person in charge were good. Only this inn has 60 minutes of alcohol at dinner in Kyoritsu Resort, which I have stayed so far. Because it is 60 minutes, this service is happy because it is not too much to drink. I like the point that I can slow because I check out at 11 o'clock.

I visited for a walk in the morning at the location adjacent to Hakone Shrine. Lots of green. A promenade full of flowers. A promenade on the shore of the lake. You can see Mt. Fuji beautifully, and you can also see pirate ships passing through Lake Ashino. The silence as if time had stopped. The chirping of small birds is comfortable. I was surprised to stay at a resort where the speaker was wired, but I don't need such a small work here. Hotel to enjoy hotel stay. The customer feels like a repeater is quite, a little elegant and noisy, old, gentlemen, ladies 々. It's not a place for noisy young people to go. The food was a long-established hotel, so I chose Western food. There were many reviews that Japanese food was good, but because it is a hotel, the food is elegant and a little on a large plate. Is delicious. I wonder if it's not enough, but it's enough. Upgrade of main dishes that are common in cheap hotels these days. It was also here. The course was changed to Hoho meat grilled Wagyu beef steak and brand beef steak. The chef served hoho meat, so I didn't change it, but it was an elaborate grill, but after all, hoho meat was hoho meat. I should have upgraded. It's a simple story, but I think the main dish is Japanese beef steak without discounting. 〇〇 Great deal at sale! I will stay there because the guide will come from the travel site, but I feel that every hotel is having a hard time with the main. Then, I wish I had stopped selling. The ladies I met in the hall were highly praised for Japanese food. Next time, if I can come to the flowering season, I would like to try a Japanese restaurant.

　I stayed on January ５ day as last year. The room is a low-rise room as usual. The lower floors can see the moon, stars and the rising sun through the leaves of the garden tree 々. I don't think I'll come again if my first stay was the mountain side room I saw on YouTube. After spring, it has a hot spring inn in the forest in the leaves of the tree 々, and it has a different taste, but I like winter. This time, when I changed the iPhone to a new model, I was able to take a good picture of the garden and the stars at night. Overall, I am satisfied with the same wonderfulness. If I dare to say something I was interested in, I take pictures of the meal every time, but the tea confectionery at the reception was the same as last year (of course I am satisfied). I requested the size of the clothes in the building in advance and prepared it. Is not small, and last year there was nothing to wear on the clothes in the hall like a vest (I don't know what to say) (because it looks like a farmer?), The maximum size of the clothes I bought at the shop last year is pink-colored building I bought an inner dress, but the inner dress prepared in the room was the same white gray? (Since it was the same color last year, it may be the same color even if you make a reservation for a man and woman. Or is there a number depending on the size?) The same was true when I stayed at another hotel in Hakone Yumoto at the end of the year, but the dinner dishes were served. , From last year, I felt that it was small or the amount was small. Compared to the photos when I stayed last year, I really get worried. I was worried that the food would be smaller as the room rate was rising from last year. The good thing was that the staff at various places were as good as ever. There were many non-al drinks beside the elevator. There was a low evaluation on SNS in advance, but it is true that there are customers, but there are staff who are dissatisfied with colleagues in a low voice, or the number of staff at the restaurant is narrowed. Is it , I couldn't come immediately after pressing the doorbell button, but it was acceptable to me. I've never seen it like I was on SNS here. I wanted to use it in the future. Finally, I bought it here last year, but I can't wear it because it seems to be ”stealed” at the same Kyoritsu resort, but I used it at other hotels and was popular with foreign tourists. It is often used when staying at other hot spring inns. I would like you to always have various sizes of colors. The next time I stay, I would like to buy it if there is a color for overseas souvenirs.

The soundproofing effect of this hotel is very good and the room was very quiet, which allowed me to have a good rest. The service attitude of the hotel staff was very good, warm and thoughtful, and made me feel very welcome. The location of the hotel is also very good, with convenient transportation and many attractions and restaurants nearby. All in all, I like this hotel very much and highly recommend it!

Pleasantly surprised by the large room we got, with an enclosed balcony overlooking the lush green valley. Spacious bathroom. Clean room. Excellent onsite onsen - enjoyed the experience. Lovely dining areas and sushi restaurant. Free pickup from Odawara Shinkansen station (45 min ride to hotel). Hotel offers free dropoff and pickup to local train station so you can comfortably take the cable car to Lake Ashi. Highly recommend the cable car, boat across Lake Ashi and Hakone's open air museum.
