The hotel is very good, it is an old-fashioned hotel with many rooms. It can be seen that it has a lot of history and local style. The price-performance ratio is good. It is good to experience it. It is located in the Jewish district. There is a horror house attraction nearby. The attraction was once the office of the Nazis in Budapest. Many items are worth seeing.

The room is very clean and the room service staff is very enthusiastic! The view outside the window is great! The front desk staff is very patient, the language communication is stress-free, and they also took the initiative to help us store our luggage and contact the taxi driver for the vehicle. The hotel's meals are also very local and taste goodđ
The hotel is more than ten stories high and has a certain scale. It is business-type and an 18-minute walk to the subway. There is free parking at the hotel entrance and the parking lot is ample. You can also drive to the subway station, the P+R parking lot, pick up the ticket when entering, enter the license plate number on the machine when leaving, pay and leave. It is very convenient. The hotel has a good breakfast. It is 5-6 kilometers away from the city center. The surrounding area is very quiet. It is considered a new district with many exhibition halls and no residential areas around.

Staying in this hotel was a great choice! The staff was very nice especially the girl from reception , studio super clean and was more than furnished with everything we needed, kitchen etc. The position is super central! We highly recommend it and we will come back for sure! âșïž
The location is great. It's convenient to go everywhere. Every employee in the hotel is very nice. They greet each other when they meet. There is no racial discrimination. They are very patient when asking questions. There is an opera ticket center in the hotel. The red wine for afternoon tea is delicious and there is a piano. Play, and luckily there is also a beautiful singer. The breakfast snack is also delicious, you can order it now. The soft boiled eggs are especially delicious. The silicon fish for breakfast was super delicious. The only regret was that there was no kettle, toothbrush or toothpaste in the room.
The hotel is near the Fisherman's Bastion. It is on a mountain and not in the downtown area. It is inconvenient to drag luggage without taking a taxi. The room is relatively small, the bed and pillows are soft, and the sanitary products are all L'Occitane. It is not good that there is no kettle in the room. Special praise is that breakfast can be eaten from 8 o'clock to 11 o'clock, which is great. There is not much to do in Budapest. It's just the right time to go out for brunch at noon. Breakfast is a staple food (we ate four kinds in two days, and finally I caught a train one day and got a breakfast box) + bread, meat, cheese and other buffet, which was very rich. The hotel staff are friendly and the service is very good!
The location is right in the center and very convenient. The house for us is 1 storey, very dark, cold, not very ventilated, the sun is shining outside, some people wear short sleeves, and we have to wear down jackets in our house. The air conditioner charges 10 euros a night, and the small air conditioner is only in the living room, and it is impossible to get to the inner room. The service is really speechless, the booked triple room, a double bed and a sofa bed, the double bed is normal, the list on the sofa bed is new, the quilt is the one that comes out of the cupboard, and at first glance it is not a clean quilt and The pillowcases were asked to replace them. They said they were new. Finally, they let them smell. The taste is the kind of taste that has not been changed for a long time. It is also new, and it is very speechless. In the end, I have to lose my temper. The tone of the two sides is already very bad, and I will give it a set.

Brand new hotel, only 20 days old when I stayed there on 14 Aug 2024
Very clean, modern hotel
Location is one stop away from train station. Itâs easy to go to the attractions
Excellent team of staff, very friendly and helpful!
Especially Mr. Zsolt Palasthy! Really appreciate his help and recommendations!
When the TV was not working, I called the receptionist. The technician came almost immediately to address the issues!
Bed was super comfortable and firm!
We tried both the Finnish and infrared sauna, very nice!
Breakfast was delicious, good variety and quality!
Will definitely go back to this hotel next time we visit Budapest again!
Nine years ago I have stayed at the Bristol Hotel in Budapest for about a month at a time for business and leisure.
It still is one of the best choices, especially during the off-season.
5 minutes walk from Budapest East (Keleti) Railway station. Close to many shops, Fast food restaurants etc.
The room was quiet, meticulously clean, with a comfortable bed, kettle, tea and coffee etc.
The wifi in the smaller rooms works better than in the bigger ones due to the thick wall.
My favorite hotel in Budapest - the most center, delicious breakfast - there are many vegetarian options, among other things (for vegetarians - humus, salads, vegetables in panning, just vegetables, faphael, etc.), the welcome staff, always ready to help, Lobby with free tea and coffee, tea and coffee in the room, cleanest room (which is rare even for network 4*, and I have a lot in which I was), there is even a sauna (in winter for me one of it prepared).

JJoe0412Excellent location, short walk to the opera house, basilica, Parliament is not too far away. Budapest is a very walkable city and this location aids that.
Loved the lobby decoration and the building itself. Room small but does the job. Bed is comfortable and I slept really well. Shower hot and good water pressure & wifi is fast.
Room has a safe, kettle, water, towels etc. Tea but no coffee which is odd. The rooms have a theme, mine was Ferenc Puskas the famous football player.
Service is incredibly friendly and helpful. No breakfast which is unfortunate.
It can be tricky to find. Look for Metropolis sign on the building next to the door.
MMayya8My favorite stay during a 20 days trip in four different countries in Europe! The staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. The hotel itself was fantastic, from decor to location to amenities, cleanliness and comfort. Would 100% come back again!
LLudmila and Winston from AustraliaOutstanding Gold Standard Hotel.
We stayed five nights in the hotel, and from the time we arrived, we enjoyed the most outstanding professional and welcoming hospitality of the hotel staff. To our suprise, most of the staff communicated well in English and were always welcoming, professional, and friendly. The superior studio provided a spectacular view of the Danube River and the majestic Chain Bridge. The view of the city was absolutely magnificent, especially at night time. Everything in the room was of high standard, and having stayed at many hotels around the world, we could say without hesitation that the soundproofing in the room was Gold Standard. For the first time, we were not disturbed by any external noise from the hotel or from traffic noise from outside the hoĂŹtel. This made our stay enjoyable and memorable. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone in the hotel for making our stay in Budapest spectacular!
EEurus ruanA great stay experience. We are a temporary room. The lady at the front desk arranged for us a very large room with a living room. Room facilities are perfect. Finally, since I have a meeting in the afternoon, the hotel also provided me with a free rest area.
SSteffenDA nice and pretty affordable four star hotel - perfect for families. Clean, relatively big and modern rooms with river view and balcony. The rooms are bright and give you a good feeling. Bathtub and shower in one. Medium size TV with an okay selection of channels. The very nice thing about this hotel is the pool and sauna area. Several pools for swimming, relaxing and one pool with thermal water. They even have kind of a medical spa/hospital attached to the hotel where you can get (health) cure. The breakfast has a great selection and is delicious. The hotel WiFi works very good and is available almost everywhere. The service and staff are friendly and helpful. They provide you a free water bottle in the room as welcome gift, which other hotels donât as the tap water is drinkable. The location is on the island, where there are parks and kids playgrounds nearby, even there is a very small zoo for kids to play/touch some animals. To go to most sights/inner city/circus/thermal pools you can take a taxi with the Bolt app for approx. 8-10âŹ. Near the hotel there is also a very tasty chain restaurant VakVarjĂș Ătterem with typical Hungarian dishes. The hotel is also very dog friendly. We loved our stay and will come back. We also stayed in Danubius Hotel Helia nearby, but this one here is much better!

GGuest UserHey Out there,
I was there as a solo traveler however I believe the hotel room size can easily accommodate a couple as well.
The location is exquisite just within a few hundred meters from the tramway and the metro and bus stops (Oktogon M station)!!!
And from and to the airport, you don't even have to take a cab. Just use tramway or metro and then connect to blue bus # 100E (an express bus service to the airport). The receptionist lady, amazing đ Her name is Sofia and she's very helpful. She can even suggest you places to visit. If you arrive earlier than official check in time, I can promise you you will enjoy the luggage drop off service and be walking around (or even take a metro or tramway and go have fun somwhere) till you check in.
Given that this is a budget hotel, why not stay there?
The ball's in your court now...
AAlexHospitality at this hotel is pretty much non-existent, especially for what I'd expect of a Novotel. It starts with having no doorman. You'll see this a few times in others comments. They give you one water bottle in your room. Don't expect them to replace it throughout your stay though. That'd be a lot to ask. Room service? I'm not sure if they cleaned the rooms during our stay. They did make the beds. That's about all. When I asked where I might find water, I was rudely directed to purchase a bottle from the restaurant. This is unheard of to me. Filtered water should always be freely provided. The breakfast was also quite mediocre. Huge lineup for coffee, no brewed coffee, which would be quicker to serve. Staff not around. For the price, the breakfast is certainly not worth it. Not a great experience. I won't be returning.
MMilanThe hostel is not far from downtown, three metro stops from Deak Ferenc ter (square), the central downtown transit hub. And the metro station is 100 meters from hostel. I was received by an unkind and unfriendly female receptionist who did not want to give me a bed far away from the AC. I checked in at 15:30, when the other beds were available, but she was just lazy to change my bed. In the evening as the AC was blowing so hard and I did not want to wake up sick in the morning, I had to ask another receptionist to find me another room where the AC was blowing normally. He had a hard time to find another bed. When the next day during check out I talked to the manager and stated that I was not happy with the unkind receptionist, she got even more angry. However, the front desk manager noted my complain about the AC and said they would be working on it. Upon picking my luggage I noted that my towel was stolen from the towel rack on the fourth floor terrace. Actually, you have to pay to rent a towel, and some guests do not want to do it, they prefer stealing other guestâs towels. I checked out with the front desk, and they investigated the missing towel with cleaners, but did not find my towel, which was very different than hostelâs ones. I was happy that my luggage that was left at the reception desk upon check out was ok.
AAbbeyLocated centrally within a short walk to a number of good bars, restaurants and cafes however it can get noisy until the early hours of the morning. The apartment was compact but big enough for 2 people however the bed was a very small queen. There was only 1 coffee capsule for 2 people staying and although there were lots of electrical sockets, they were all for European plugs and not one had a USB connection which would be far more useful for most travellers. The bathroom mirror was laughable - Iâm 5ft 2â and could just see the top of my head in it!
Instructions to gain entry were emailed on check-in day, which also included downloading an app. This wouldâve been useful to know prior to travelling.
GGuest UserI rolled up at 630pm..this hotel is new..fresh..clean..modern. The concept is fantastic. The free wifi is great..lots of hot water..modern rooms..new tvs with youtube!.Shower was nice too. Breakfast was yummy..lots to choose from!..I will recommend and return for sure. The only thing I found odd is being given a door code on my key card slip...no card..no physical key..bit worried on the security of this..if dropped or lost...Not great..but that is all..will return;)
