Romantic Hotels in Budapest

The hotel is gorgeous!! Breakfast spread was alright; nothing too special but the architecture of the space was very lovely. The live classical music was an added bonus. We had issues with the shower and after two attempts to fix it, we were moved to another room. We appreciated the gesture. The weather was extremely hot and it was very unpleasant to be out but we were able to walk down to the port in 20 mins, so the location was great. We tried to get in a spa treatment but it was fully booked, we should've pre-booked before arriving! All in all, a lovely few days.

I booked it on Ctrip for nearly double the price. It is very close to the temple and is the terminus of the city sightseeing bus. There are restaurants one after another around. The facade is inconspicuous, but the inside is pretty good. There are tables, chairs and lamps indoors, making the room generally feel comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and convenient to use. The breakfast is rich and very good among hotels of the same class.

A great stay experience. We are a temporary room. The lady at the front desk arranged for us a very large room with a living room. Room facilities are perfect. Finally, since I have a meeting in the afternoon, the hotel also provided me with a free rest area.

This is a nice 4 star hotel overlooking the Danube on the Budapest side of the river. Superior rooms are at the front of the hotel, which is the newer part. You have a choice of River View or Castle view, River view is better and attracts a supplement. Our reservation through Trip mentioned Castle view and River view, but you cannot have both! Breakfast is a good choice of hot and cold food, nice coffee and cakes. Rooms are well equipped, clean and serviced daily. Good hot water. Bathrooms have a bath with over bath shower. Toiletries are provided. Towels changed daily. Rooms have safes, kettle with tea and coffee making facilities. The TV was a Cable TV and had a variety of channels, one English, BBC. The hotel has a bar and restaurant and a gym. Staff are very helpful, we managed to check in early and upgrade our room to one with a River view. A good selection of nice restaurants are within 10 mins walk. The hotel is situated directly beneath the Castle, access by the steps or via the funicular which is 5 min walk along by the river, alternatively large buggy vehicles operate a hop on hop off shuttle service. We found that the Bolt taxi service (bit like Uber) is very good. We has a freelance taxi driver try to scam us by not using his meter, we refused to pay and invited him to call the police. Avoid freelance taxi drivers and make sure they use their meters. Bolt uses an app and was a lot cheaper than the price the hotel informed us if we used their taxi service. The hotel lobby and spa pool are both very nice! The overall condition and hygiene of the hardware facilities are good, and the service attitude of the hotel staff is also very good. However, there is a discrepancy between the information provided by Ctrip and the actual check-in information. After raising the issue with Ctrip customer service, the customer service also verified it as soon as possible and provided a suitable solution, so I am satisfied with the overall stay experience.

The hotel is on the mountain, next to Fisherman's Bastion. When I checked into the hotel, I thought it would be inconvenient to get to the city. I didn't expect that not only would I be able to see the church as soon as I left the hotel every day, but I would also be able to walk more than 100 meters to the 16/16A bus, which runs until 12 o'clock every day, so I didn't have to worry about going up and down the mountain. If you want to be the first to seize the invincible sunrise at Fisherman's Bastion, then choosing this hotel is the right choice. It only takes 8 to 10 minutes to walk. It's also very convenient to go to the Budapest Castle. You don't have to go down the mountain. You can get to the castle in two or three bus stops because it is parallel to the Fisherman's Bastion. The room is not big and it is a bit stressful to open two luggages. The breakfast is average and there are few categories. But the food in the hotel's restaurant is very good. Reservation required. There is no socket on the dressing table. You need to stand in the bathtub to take a shower. The partition glass is very narrow. Every time I take a shower, the bathroom floor is filled with water. I don't like these two things.

Hotel breakfast is very good, adult 16 euros, half price for children. The only bad thing is the two bedrooms, with two shower rooms, but there is only one toilet. If there are many people in the family, they will always have to wait for the toilet. Everything is fine except for this. The parking lot is also very convenient. From the garage you can take the elevator directly to the room floor.

The location of the hotel is great. It is located on the bank of the Blue Danube, between the Parliament Building and the Chain Bridge. It is not far from the main attractions and is within walking distance. Although the room is next to the road, the sound insulation is very good and you can't hear much noise at night. Our room was on the first floor and had a view of the Parliament Buildings, although the electric poles on the roadside somewhat blocked the view. The hotel staff are all friendly and welcoming, greeting you with a smile. Breakfast is also good. The restaurant is small but very cozy. You can also order delicious freshly made eggs a la carte. Parking needs to be reserved in advance. The garage is right behind the hotel and is easy to find. Speaking of parking, it is necessary to talk about our experience. When we drove away after checking out, we needed to reverse out of the garage and turn onto the road. However, there were vehicles parked on the side of the road at the entrance of the garage. It was difficult to see the road behind the car when we reversed and turned. Although I reversed very slowly, unfortunately, the car As soon as the rear corner entered the road, it was hit by a car speeding from behind. Fortunately, no one on either side was injured and the damage to the vehicle was minimal. I say this to remind latecomers that if you drive out of this garage onto the road, it is very necessary to ask the person in the car to get out of the car and direct the reverse from behind! In particular, I would like to praise the hotel staff, a young and handsome man, who gave us great help. After the car collided, I called 112 and called the police. While waiting for the police to arrive, this staff member discovered that we had been involved in a traffic accident, and took the initiative to ask and help us. He repeatedly comforted me verbally, called 112 to inquire about the arrival time of the police, and helped us find and print relevant documents on the car in advance. After arriving at the scene, he helped us translate and communicate and negotiate with the police. With his help, we successfully obtained the traffic accident report. We occupied him for a long time during the entire process and I wanted to thank him, but he just said it was his job and no thanks were needed. This makes us very touched! This hotel is definitely our only choice next time we come to Budapest!

The room is beautiful! And there is an exclusive private area, but the main building is a 17th century monument, it is half a reserved area, so there is no elevator, the luggage is not friendly, and the air-conditioning is very weak, so if it is a friend who is afraid of heat or a friend who wants to come in summer, you can avoid it. But winter is very suitable, it is a romantic room! Breakfast is also paid, no extra payment! The experience is great except for being too hot!
