I had a great stay at Hotel President. The location is convenient, very close to Basilica and Danube the room is clean, no noise from the street, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The apartment is well located, but it is very tiring because you don't enter directly, you have to go through a kind of maze that is quite tiring and go up and down stairs to get to the apartment, because the elevator is broken, but in the 4 nights we stayed they never fixed it, I think it is something permanent. On the other hand, if you stay 4 or 5 nights there is no change of towels, nor is there shower soap, so the amenities are very fair for what you pay for this apartment.

I would be happy to provide an excellent review for Continental Hotel in Budapest. My experience at the hotel was fantastic. The room was tidy and clean, and the location was excellent, close to the city center and the great synagogue. The pool and sauna were also great amenities. Most importantly, I would like to give a special thanks to the excellent service provided by the hotel staff, who was extremely helpful during my stay. Overall, I highly recommend the Continental Hotel for anyone visiting Budapest.

Nice hotel. The room was clean and well equipped. There are many shops and restaurants around. All the staff here are nice, patient and listen to guests' inquiries. Of course I will book this hotel again if I come back.

The first day when we checked in, there was a horrible smell like from sewerage in the room. The next day a lady came, put something in the shower and toilet. But smell wasn’t coming from there. It was from air conditioning. We asked to change the room. And the second room was much better, with cups, coffee and tees, which were absent in the first room. At first it was okay. But then the smell came the next day. Again. Also about breakfast, it was satisfactory, but not good. Since we don‘t eat pork there were very little choice for us to choose from.

The hotel is more than ten stories high and has a certain scale. It is business-type and an 18-minute walk to the subway. There is free parking at the hotel entrance and the parking lot is ample. You can also drive to the subway station, the P+R parking lot, pick up the ticket when entering, enter the license plate number on the machine when leaving, pay and leave. It is very convenient. The hotel has a good breakfast. It is 5-6 kilometers away from the city center. The surrounding area is very quiet. It is considered a new district with many exhibition halls and no residential areas around.

The location of the hotel is acceptable, but the facilities are average, and there are no water cups or hot water bottles. The room is spacious and more than enough for two travelers. The price is reasonable. I will book it again next time.

This hotel is located in a residential area outside the old town. The room was a little small, but clean and comfortable. The first subway station is a 7-8 minute walk away, so you can get to the center of Budapest without changing trains, and since it's the first station, you're guaranteed to get a seat. Traveling by car in the old town is very difficult, so this hotel is perfect for those who want to leave their car in the hotel's parking lot and use the subway to tour the city. As for breakfast, in addition to cheese and ham, there was a wide variety of fruits and vegetables such as melon and plums, so it was quite filling.

This is a nice 4 star hotel overlooking the Danube on the Budapest side of the river. Superior rooms are at the front of the hotel, which is the newer part. You have a choice of River View or Castle view, River view is better and attracts a supplement. Our reservation through Trip mentioned Castle view and River view, but you cannot have both! Breakfast is a good choice of hot and cold food, nice coffee and cakes. Rooms are well equipped, clean and serviced daily. Good hot water. Bathrooms have a bath with over bath shower. Toiletries are provided. Towels changed daily. Rooms have safes, kettle with tea and coffee making facilities. The TV was a Cable TV and had a variety of channels, one English, BBC. The hotel has a bar and restaurant and a gym. Staff are very helpful, we managed to check in early and upgrade our room to one with a River view. A good selection of nice restaurants are within 10 mins walk. The hotel is situated directly beneath the Castle, access by the steps or via the funicular which is 5 min walk along by the river, alternatively large buggy vehicles operate a hop on hop off shuttle service. We found that the Bolt taxi service (bit like Uber) is very good. We has a freelance taxi driver try to scam us by not using his meter, we refused to pay and invited him to call the police. Avoid freelance taxi drivers and make sure they use their meters. Bolt uses an app and was a lot cheaper than the price the hotel informed us if we used their taxi service. In the center of the apartment, the first time to go to the location to find a little trouble, are single-line, there are not many parking spaces on the road, the hotel's parking lot has to circle, knowing that it is quite convenient. Breakfast is okay, the place is a bit small and there have been a lot of people. It rains a day, the outdoor seat can't sit, and you can only stand and wait.
