Budapest Hotels with balcony

"The hotel facilities are a bit old, but very clean. I didn't encounter any unpleasant issues during my stay. The hotel breakfast was great, and the staff were quick to replenish food. The location is excellent, within walking distance to two major attractions: Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle. If you walk a bit further, you can see the Parliament Building and Chain Bridge at night. The only downside was that on the last night, the couple next door were, uh, *very* loud, and it sounded quite painful. I'm pretty sure the whole building could hear them..."

"Staying at this hotel left us with nothing but the most pleasant impressions! The room was very cozy and spacious, with a view of a quiet, non-noisy street. The metro station is just a 3-minute walk away, and a wonderful park with Vajdahunyad Castle is a 10-minute walk. The city center is about a 40-minute walk, which is a real pleasure on a nice day :) The staff were polite and friendly, and they resolved all our requests very quickly! Although breakfast was the same every day, it was quite varied, so it didn't get boring over our 4-day stay :) We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to Budapest! "My recent stay at Bristol Budapest Hotel was an excellent experience from start to finish; I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest. I arrived at around 02:00, and despite the late hour, check-in was completely seamless. The staff were clearly expecting me; this made the whole process quick and effortless; exactly what you want after a long journey. The room itself was immaculately clean and very well presented. I appreciated the small touches; like the fridge stocked with a bottle of water, which can be replenished simply by taking it down to reception. The bed was very comfortable, with soft, high-quality linen that made for a great night’s sleep. There was also a good tea and coffee setup in the room; a welcome addition. Even though my room faced the street, I slept with the window open and wasn’t disturbed by noise at all; something that really stood out. The bathroom was spacious enough, with plenty of clean towels and some lovely complimentary toiletries. At one point I needed an iron and ironing board; reception provided both immediately without any fuss; which summed up the efficiency of the service throughout my stay. Breakfast was a real highlight. I had seen some mixed reviews beforehand, but I genuinely don’t understand why. The selection was extensive; covering both continental and hot options. Everything was beautifully presented, tasted great, and was constantly replenished and well maintained. It was easily one of the best parts of my stay. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. Every single person I encountered was friendly, helpful, and welcoming; always with a smile. That level of hospitality made a big difference. Overall, this is a solid and reliable option for anyone visiting Budapest; I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it."

"I had urgent night to stay. Difficult to find because no sign, luckily when I arrived the lady at counter still there to help me contact staff and they are were nice.  Hotel staff add my WhatsApp guide how to check in. But it will be more easier if you just make check in instructions by photos send to WhatsApp. Unlock the door need to download app which it very difficult if you no internet. Toilet no curtain to prevent water when I use their bath towel wipes toilet floor was dusty. Hotel not provide drinking water."

"Beautiful hotel. Amazing staff. View of the river is amazing. Located right next to the tram station, but the frequency of the train is not ideal. Still, it is in walking distance to some of the attraction. It is an excellent stay here."

"Let's start with the positives: This Ibis hotel boasts an excellent location for transport. It's conveniently close to the airport, with a subway station right outside its doorstep. You can reach the airport in about 30-40 minutes by taking the subway and then a bus, making it a solid choice if you're flying. There are also plenty of tram lines in the vicinity. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I noticed quite a few international guests. The facilities are comprehensive, providing everything you'd expect. The rooms were also kept quite clean. Our family room was generously sized, featuring two separate rooms and four beds, offering ample space. Now for the downsides: It's genuinely quite a distance from the city center. Apart from one local shopping mall, there's absolutely nothing else around, giving it a somewhat isolated, 'middle of nowhere' feel. There aren't many dining options nearby either."

"The location is absolutely unbeatable, right next to a bustling commercial district and shopping malls. The surrounding city architecture is modern and stylish, giving the area an open and grand feel. The hotel's food is delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The service team is warm, polite, efficient, and attentive. Overall, everything about this hotel is excellent. It offers great comfort and convenience for getting around, making it highly recommended."

"The room was cozy and the beds were comfortable. There's no kettle though so I can't make my morning coffee. The location was opposite the bus terminal so it's easy to travel to and from other cities by bus. There's no shops nearby but we had friends to drive us around and the location was near their residence so that's a plus. Bus stop to the city is nearby. Love the lobby."

"Absolutely thrilled with my stay! The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a stunning view directly overlooking the Danube, with the Parliament building, Shoes on the Danube Bank, Little Princess Statue, and St. Stephen's Basilica all in sight. We were also conveniently located right behind Fisherman's Bastion, the Labyrinth, Buda Castle, and Szechenyi Chain Bridge. Everything was super accessible. The breakfast spread was incredibly generous too!"
