Very attentive staff and super helpful with every request.

Room is in a good location close to Tahrir Square and Egyptian Museum. You will need to carry your luggage up the stairs for one floor after taking the lift (goes up to the sixth floor) which is something to note if you have heavy luggage. Room is basic but comfortable enough, would like to suggest putting more hooks in the toilet and more electrical outlets.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. I met so many lifelong friends here, even travelled the country with a couple people I met here. The common room is air-conditioned and comfortable. Breakfast is good, but the same everyday. The bathrooms are clean and I like the curtains on the beds in the dorms. I would definitely stay here again.

The place was clean, the room was a little smaller than I imagined, staff polite and helpful, excellent stay for the price would recommend to those on a budget

Next to the Egyptian Museum
The ”No. 9 Chicken Roll” downstairs is delicious, with red Arabic on the door
Night cruise on the Nile, Kings cruise, belly dancers are great
Khalili Market, go at night. The coffee shops near the check-in point are all very good, there are dozens or hundreds of historical shops. Fridays and Saturdays are especially lively! The coffee shop is a paradise for locals, give enough tips to make you feel full, and keep tipping to make you happy
Don't go to those coffee shops at the door, they are so expensive that they rip off tourists
Markaz home store, everything is worth buying
Zamalek Art Island, university rich area, plenty of jewelry stores and art galleries

I cannot recommend staying at Cairo Paradise Hotel enough. We came on quite a spontaneous trip where we had not planned each day beforehand, we booked a hotel that felt good to us, in a good location and decided that we would ask for recommendations once there. We were welcomed extremely warmly by Ahmad, and had a big and beautiful room. From the first day, we were given so much advice based on our budget and interests: Amr gave us his experience and offered us to plan our days to make the most out of our time: we did not just visit many locations, we also had guides and did things in a certain order and at every hour. These made it into a very very busy and fun adventure! Apart from travel help, everyone was very generous at the hotel, we were offered tea, coffee and Egyptian food to try, and got a taxi ride to the airport to go back. They always made sure we were safe and had any question answered. I felt so welcomed to Egypt and Cairo and I hope to go back and see them again😄
Thank you to Ahmad, Amr and everyone else!
One piece of advice: sometimes on iPhone maps when you write the hotel name it can get a little mixed up, make sure when you see the destination it is on Sherif Pasha Street but also: in between 26th July Street and Adly Street. The hotel is also opposite a cake shop called El Abd Patisserie.

The location is good as it is close to the downtown area. The building may be difficult to find at first glance. It was clean and the room was spacious for the price. The staff was also kind. You can see the whole view of Cairo from the rooftop.
The hotel is located in one part of a building, so you have to take an elevator to get to the entrance. The elevator is a different type than in Japan, so it's surprising at first, but it's fun to think of it as an experience. As the reviews said, I think this hotel can be recommended to Japanese people as well.

The first time I checked in, I felt that this hotel was very good and I was satisfied with everything. But the second time, it was full of problems. There were all kinds of problems with this hotel. First, because it was my second time staying at this hotel, I deliberately did not make a reservation in advance and went directly to the hotel to ask them the price. The hotel said the price for one night was 970 ebms, which shocked me. I checked the platform and found that the price for one night was only more than 400. Then I made a reservation on the platform, and the hotel staff was very unhappy. Second, my friend came to the hotel to visit me. As soon as he stepped into the door of the hotel, the hotel staff ran to me and said that I needed to pay 200 ebms because I brought a friend in. I said I was leaving soon and was not here. He said no, as soon as you come in, you must pay 200 ebms before you can leave. Fortunately, when I checked in, I told their staff that a friend would come to see me the next day, and he said OK, so I escaped. In summary, this hotel has many pitfalls. You must ask clearly when making a reservation, otherwise it is easy to fall into the trap.

Great
GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at Oasis Chinese Guesthouse in Egypt, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Kevin, the owner, and his wife made me feel incredibly welcome. Their warm hospitality and genuine kindness created a home-like atmosphere that made my stay truly memorable.
The guesthouse itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering all the necessary amenities for a relaxing visit. The peaceful surroundings and authentic charm of the property perfectly complement the friendly service provided by Kevin and his wife.
Overall, my stay at Oasis Chinese Guesthouse was delightful, thanks to the personal touch and exceptional service of its wonderful hosts. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Egypt.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in New Cairo. The boss lady is from Fujian. The food is good and satisfies everyone's Chinese appetite. The room has clean bedding, comfortable bed, quiet, and you can rest well, unlike the noisy night in Old Cairo. No matter how late it is, the boss's own driver provides free airport pick-up. The hotel is also close to the airport. You can exchange Egyptian pounds. After placing an order, the boss lady will take the initiative to contact and add WeChat, which makes communication convenient.
GGuest UserThis place is conveniently located, clean, and has excellent connectivity with the Metro.
Zaynab, who assisted us, was very helpful.
Don’t be put off by the entrance door, it’s similar to most hotels in Cairo. The city itself seems to have stayed in the ancient Egypt era, possibly due to frequent dust storms in the area.
Highly recommended 100%!
AAnonymous UserGood location
Busy and prosperous
Super close to the museum
10 minutes walk
Complete surrounding facilities
Breakfast is provided
One thing about the location is that the soundproofing is not very good
I feel that the soundproofing of hotels in Egypt is not very good😭
Overall, it is worth the price
Just to sleep and recharge
I went out to play during the day
GGuest UserVery clean, the room is big, and there is electric heating, which is very good! !
I will stay here again next time I come to Cairo! ! !

GGuest UserWhen we arrived, it was a little difficult to find the building, because there was no sign of Lucky Hostel in the lobby. However a very persistent man outside, insisted that the building with sign “El otel”, is the correct building. We trust him and we entered. Another problem, it looked like to use the elevator to 4th floor, we must have access card. We wait for about 5 minutes and fortunately there was a man came down, and we asked his help to tap on the elevator using his card. Other than that, my husband & I were happy to stay in this hostel. Our room was so big and with sofa too!! Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Hot shower was very pleasant in cold morning. And we were very happy that the staff allow us to put our luggage while we were away to Luxor. We stay for total of 4 nights and we were allowed again to put our luggage while we went shopping, because our flight was in the middle of the night.
MMoh MhfI had an acceptable stay at the Montana Hotel in Cairo. The overall experience was average, especially considering the price point. The service was friendly and helpful—staff were polite and responsive, always willing to assist with any requests.
The facilities were basic need to keep an eye on cleaning and functionality of WiFi. The room was tidy and had the essentials, though not particularly luxurious. It’s a good choice for travelers looking for a simple place to stay in a convenient location.
As for the food, it was average—breakfast with a small variety of local and continental options. It’s probably not the hotel’s highlight, but it does the job if you’re not expecting gourmet meals.
Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option in Cairo with decent service. Great for short stays or if you plan to spend most of your time exploring the city.
GGuest UserThe hotel is quite close to the Egyptian museum,
The facility is okay - The place is quite old but clean.
The hotel staff here are very nice especially Mr Anas he was quite energetic and really looking forward to service + friendly
I didn't expect that he was invites me to the lunch together with them
** note** for someone who cannot sleep with the noise - the hotel is quite close to the Egyptian Street which is always honking the horn.
Solution ** ust bring an earplug ( The one that you would receive on in airplane ) and everything's gonna be fine
In conclusion this hotel is reasonably priced for this quality. if you don't expect for something luxury but friendly , This hotel could be your choice
いいもたろうThe staff are very kind and helpful, and always greet you with a smile. The service was excellent. The breakfast was also delicious. When I checked out, they kept my suitcase, and when I went to pick it up later, I was allowed to rest on the sofa at the reception desk for a while. They even offered me a juice. It takes three hours to see everything at the Egyptian Museum across the street. It's nice to be able to lie down in a hotel bed after a few minutes, even with tired legs.
BBorisThe hotel itself is basic. The room and other areas need a little work, but for the price that you pay, it’s worth it. And anyway, you just sleep there.
What impressed me was the staff. I don’t have words how amazing the staff there is. I arrived with a toothache and they helped me schedule an appointment and I even got a discount. Every tour I wanted to do , they arranged it for me. The prices were affordable. Thanks to the staff, my before #1 ranked trip just got dethroned by this one. Very thankful to Kimo, Dr. Ahmed and Carlos for taking amazing care of me. Thank you for everything.
