Romantic Hotels in Cairo

"The hotel is very close to the pyramids, a 60 EGP taxi ride gets you right to a place out of a history book. The lobby and rooms are nice, but the bedsheets weren't very clean. However, that's just how Egypt is; I haven't seen anything exceptionally clean here. I'd recommend bringing a disposable four-piece bedding set. The hotel's location is easy to find and feels quite safe in a foreign country. There are three elevators, and the rooftop restaurant offers pyramid views. There's an outdoor pool, but it didn't look very clean, so I didn't dare to go in. Breakfast was typical 'Western' food; I'm not used to it, but it was edible. To my fellow Chinese travelers, bring your chili sauce! The food here is hard to get used to."

"It was okay. There aren't many dining options nearby, and the hotel food was pretty mediocre. However, it's close to the airport and reasonably convenient for getting into the city. The hotel food is quite expensive, out of sync with the local prices."

"I initially booked the room for, I think, 4 days. After they approved my request to move to a room with a balcony, I extended my stay for three weeks, making it a month in total. My stay was comfortable, thankfully. The location is great, with everything close by. The hotel staff, without exception, were excellent. They helped me a lot with my requests and were friendly. From the reception, Ms. Iman was dedicated to ensuring I stayed longer, even offering me a three-day upgrade, a huge thank you to Iman. Aya and Sara also made sure I was comfortable, especially since I was alone most of the time. I experienced a health issue, and honestly, I felt like I was in a family home; everyone was caring and constantly checking on me, to the extent that Ms. Iman made sure to call me every morning to check in. The security guards, Mohamed I think, and his colleague, took care of me when I requested a taxi, making sure to escort me to the car, especially on the days I wasn't feeling well. Mr. Amr and his colleague, I believe Ahmed or Mohamed, were incredibly polite and ethical; they helped me so much and made me feel like their mother 🥹. The girls, Nourhan, Hadeer, Manal, and Shaimaa, were wonderful and well-mannered. I always asked for them near the end of the day, a bit before they left, and they would come quickly to clean the apartment with smiles and complete ease, honestly. Drinks like tea, sugar, Nescafe, and water were available upon request and arrived quickly. My only wish is for there to be vacuum cleaners for the dust, as I was on the first floor and the balcony was open. And I wish there were a few more cleaning supplies. As for the linens and towels, they were all new, clean, and white. Tissues were available for the bathroom, rooms, and kitchen. A big thank you to everyone at Side Park Hotel 🤍🤍. I had the best month with you all, and God willing, Side Park will be my destination every time I come to Egypt 😍."

"This older Hilton hotel is, on the whole, pretty standard—nothing particularly amazing, but no major downsides either. The exterior looks a bit dated, but the interior is maintained quite cleanly and tidily. The room size is moderate, the bed is comfortable, and all the basic amenities are available, including air conditioning, hot water, and free Wi-Fi. The staff are polite, attentive, and quite proactive in their service. Breakfast is decent, with average taste and no standout features. The hotel's location is fairly convenient, with good transport links nearby, and you can walk to some restaurants and convenience stores. Overall, for a short business trip or a stopover, this hotel can meet basic needs, but it's not suitable for guests looking for a high-quality or unique experience. Its biggest advantages are the nice view, quiet atmosphere, and reasonable value for money, making it a good fit for travelers with modest accommodation requirements."

"1) Came for check in at 5 pm but still room was not ready. The reason given was I did not mention smoking or non-smoking room. 2) The bathroom floor was extremely old style and very dirty. 3) The bath tub had foldable glass doors which never closed completely and water fell on the floor everytime had a bath. 4) Therebwere totally 4 table/bedside lamps. 1 was blinking and the other 2 bedside lamps had a switch which only the hotel employees could switch on and off 5) Carpet was very dirty at some places. 6) It appeared they purposely allotted this room as I had argued about the room not being ready even at 5.00 pm 7) No toothbrush or comb or paste in the bathroom. 8) Priced so expensive but quality was not worth the price."

"The room was nice. This month, there was no need to turn on the central air conditioning; the temperature was just right. The bed wasn't directly under the AC vent. If the AC was on, it would get cold, so I only turned it on when it got warm. The room was cleaned daily, and two bottles of water were provided. I had to call the front desk for slippers. This time, I brought my own toothpaste and toothbrush. Breakfast was Egyptian-style Western, and I had bread every day, while lunch and dinner were burgers and fries. For hot water from the tap, turn the faucet to the left. Hotel experiences need to be compared. For example, the Spire West Hotel in Giza, despite having new facilities, has a less-than-ideal surrounding environment. One of the elevators to the 11th floor would inexplicably stop working. The hotel is also currently undergoing renovations, so the air quality isn't great. For instance, the toilet wasn't cleaned properly, there were flies around, and even inside the room. In comparison, the Triumph Hotel, which is rated one star higher, offers a much better living environment. However, the Triumph Hotel rooms don't have a main light, so they can be a bit dim."

"Overall the hotel location is good and the amenities however the studio wasn't very clean including bathroom items left from the previous occupants. It's a good family hotel with very good pool amenities. Breakfast was awful"

"The environment is decent, and the lobby service is okay. There was a security guard with a gun, and everyone's service attitude was very enthusiastic. Breakfast was very average, everything was sickly sweet, and there was no meat dish, just a very unappetizing sausage slice. The hotel is located about 30 meters down a small street next to a green park. I'd say the location is just so-so. There are often young hoodlum-like people in that park, and there are many shops next to this green park: McDonald's, Orange, a convenience store, banks, clothing stores, etc. The bed in the room was huge, the carpet was a bit dirty, and the facilities looked rather old. The housekeeping staff had a great attitude. To get into the room, you had to insert the key card and immediately pull it out. The quality of the card or the card reader was quite poor; I was stuck outside the door several times and had to call housekeeping to let me in. Then, one day, this broken card stopped working twice in a single day, forcing me to go to the lobby twice to get new ones!!! I tipped the cleaning staff 50 EGP, and they did an excellent job! They also fulfilled my request for extra water bottles!!! However, one day, I only had one towel in my room??? I have no idea what happened!!"

"Exceptional! Absolutely excellent. The staff are cheerful, kind, highly respectful, and professional. Everyone treats you like family, as if you're the owner of the place. My greetings and thanks to my two honorable and respected daughters, Miss Aya and Miss Menna, and to Mr. Khaled, the restaurant manager, and to all the staff. The location is superb. The views from the back rooms towards Cairo Tower are no less wonderful and beautiful than the views from the front rooms overlooking the magnificent Nile. The breakfast buffet is rich and varied with appetizers, salads, fruits, pastries, natural juice, and a cappuccino machine, but there are few hot dishes. God willing, we will have future visits to this outstanding location."
