Cairo Hotels with Airport Shuttle

"The hotel location is strategic, you can view the pyramid from your room or you can reach to Level 5, there is a rooftop for breakfast. This building come with elevator but can fit maximum 3person (with luggage) at one time. Their front desk is helpful and one of the staff can speak Mandarin. The room sizes was quite spacious for 2persons. You can open the 28inch luggage fully. Cleanliness can be improved further and the furniture is aged. The water heater cannot last long and the temperature is inconsistent, so you have to bath quickly. We stay here for one night only hence we don’t really spend much times in the hotel. I will still recommended this hotel if you are looking for a hotel that closer to the entrance of pyramid and clean neighbourhood."

"We always stay at Le Meridien when we are transiting. The staff is always great, receptive, and friendly, and the location is excellent. It's just a bridge distance from terminal 3. They have a shuttle mini-van to other terminals. I would say they have three items to improve: 1) bedroom maintenance (the towel hanger was almost falling), 2) they must have a kids’ playroom (they have enough space to create one), 3) They should provide a toothbrush, and toothpaste as amenities in the room (they are basically a transit hotel)."

"What a legendary place! Located in the heart of Egypt, super close to the airport, it is an oasis in the desert. The buffets are delicious and reasonably priced, the two pools are amazing and the green grass soft underfoot. The staff are friendly, the gym is adequate and the rooms are clean. Loved my layover because of this gem of an hotel! Hopefully I'll be back soon!"

"This hostel has a good location and I would say that it is pretty walkable in the early morning and very late at night but the walking infrastructure is not the best in Cairo. Mid day the traffic makes it very tricky to walk around even though there are many good restaurants and attractions nearby. Finding it is a little tricky but it is down an alley that doesn't allow cards and it is located on floor 2 of an older building. There is an elevator but all doors and gates need to be closed in order for it to work and we found guests at the hostel weren't good at closing after themselves. The staff are very kind and welcoming but we got a bit hung up on the payment. We booked on Trip with the ”Pay at the Hotel” option for 3100 Egyptian pounds for three nights in a private room but they were asking for 3600 when we were checking in. After a little back and forth they let us check in and gave us the keys so we could rest and wait for the manager's answer. The manager said no to our booked rate, we were told we booked on ******* and we now had to pay 3900 Egyptian pounds. I'm at a loss of words for this discrepancy between Trip and the hostel but there weren't better deals in the area we wanted to stay and we very reluctantly paid. The room was just a place to sleep with a box to the side where our shower and toilet were. The box had no ceiling or ventilation so there were smells throughout the room from the drains. The beds were comfy but were not completely clean when we arrived - there was hairs in the bed sheets. The room cleanliness overall could have been better. The area is quiet at night and we got a good night's rest to spend our days exploring Cairo. The breakfast was ok but there wasn't much room to eat in the common areas during our stay so we asked for breakfast in our room during our stay. We had a simple breakfast with a fried egg, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, banana, tea/coffee and Arabic bread. It is enough to get you through until lunch and is served starting at 8 pm. There is a convenience store close by that offers fairly priced snacks and drinks which you might want to seek out because they do not provide water at this hostel. We hope this property improves because it seems like it used to be really good and the location is good as well."

"Novotel Cairo Airport offered a convenient, if brief, respite. Proximity to the terminals is its strongest asset, ideal for layovers. The rooms were clean and functional, though somewhat dated. Service was efficient, though not overly warm. The breakfast buffet provided a decent selection. Noise insulation was adequate, minimizing airport disturbances. Overall, it's a practical choice for transit passengers prioritizing ease of access over luxury. A solid, reliable option for a short stay, fulfilling its purpose as an airport hotel."

"Very hard to find. No sign on the door on the street. Person in charge didn’t know of my reservation and practically no English spoken and very hard to communicate. So was also told downstairs door is open. It was locked. Also door to accommodation was locked and I wasn’t given the code for the key box. Not many taxis around. The cleanliness was very good. That was only good thing besides the price."

"When I first checked in, I almost collapsed. The door and toilet were so broken that I wanted to escape. Later, I contacted Ctrip and they helped me to change to a bigger house. Only then did I think about the room type I booked. Otherwise, I really couldn't stay there for a minute."

"We spent wonderful time at Hayat Hotel and Giza. All stuff of the hotel are so amazing and friendly, especially Mohamed, Semir and Ahmed on reception who were exceptional. They were really putting so much effort in taking care of us and making sure we have everything we needed in the hotel and our tour trips around the Giza and Cairo. Muhamed gave as a warm and friendly welcome, surving us fresh friut juices that were a real refreshment and we really needed it after we got scammed on the airport. We fell in love with the view from the roof top of the hotel, which has the best possition and the best view you can get in Giza, with all the Pyramids and Sphinx like on the palm of your hand. As we seen this view and friendly stuff of the hotel we decided to stay longer in Hayat Hotel. So Mohamed extended our stay in the hotel for 3 more days with the same amount we payed over tour operator and got us better room with a view. He also gave us new Egyptian sim card with mobile data. Hotel offered us great tours around Cairo and Alexandria, and we had excellent time seeing all the beautiful ancient places and learned a lot new things about this marvelous and mysterious place of Egyptian culture. With our tour guides, Hala and Ibrahim, and driver Atif, who are all wonderful people and were doing their best to make our stay in Egypt unforgetable, we spent 4 days in sightseeing. The food in hotel is great, very tasty, for a free breakfast you'll get many choices of traditional Egyptian, Mediteranian, continental and vegetarian kitchen, with coffee and tea, and fresh served fruits. It is a real life-time experince to eat your morning breakfast and drink your coffee at the footstep of the Sphinx and pyramids which energy is felt strongly. Sabir and all waiters and weitresses were nice and helpful in their service. We got lunch or dinner for free everyday, since it's in the tour package when you book the trip tour with the hotel. It was a great and lovely expeirence, we enjoyed a lot in Hayat hotel and if we plan trip to Cairo again we would for sure come here again. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone."
