The closest major public transportation, Beimen Metro Station, is only 800m away. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including The Red House, Lungshan Temple and Ningxia Night Market. "1. It's about a 10-minute walk from Ximen Station, but whether that's considered far or near is subjective.
2. The front desk is staffed until 7 PM. If you arrive after that, you'll need a password to enter, which will be sent to you via email on the day of arrival and also provided again by staff during check-in.
3. Luggage storage is available.
4. There's a water dispenser on the first floor, but it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while.
5. The room is quite small, but you can still manage to open a 28-inch suitcase near the entrance.
6. The sink area is small.
7. The shower doesn't have a separate door, so the floor outside gets wet after showering.
8. Shampoo, shower gel, disposable slippers, a hairdryer, towels, and hangers are provided. You'll need to bring anything else yourself."

GGuest UserThis hotel is in an excellent location! You can easily escape the bustling city by just crossing one platform and entering a peaceful atmosphere. Head north to Tamsui or a short distance south to Shilin Night Market, making this one of the few places I'd definitely return to.
The only baffling thing is the toilet paper placement. Even though the toilets have been upgraded to bidet seats, the toilet paper holder is directly behind the toilet. You have to twist 90 degrees to reach it after you're done… Wouldn't that put a strain on older guests' backs?
Additionally, the bathroom trash can in the quadruple room is a bit too small. Perhaps the idea is to limit usage frequency, but the bathroom is used by four people, right?
Finally, the breakfast staff member was very direct. While her tone wasn't accusatory, it made things a little awkward. For example, there's a steamer station. In other restaurants, different layers might have different items, but when a guest looked for items on a lower layer, the server immediately stopped them. To avoid this kind of situation, a simple sign indicating that all steamer contents are the same and to take items from top to bottom in order would prevent such awkwardness.
GGuest UserThe location is just around Ximending which is very convinient. The room was clean and the service is very good. Although wala masyadong amenities pero okay lang kasi lagi naman kami nasa labas. Free tubig din mag request lang.

GGuest UserIf you have ever stayed in a capsule hotel before, you know pretty much what to expect. The main drawer of this place is the location. Situated in the heart of Ximen, There are a lot of shops and places to eat that are within easy walking distance. The staff were very helpful upon checking are they created a very good first impression.
The capsules or pods or whatever you want to call them were average in terms of comfort. We stayed in a mixed dorm and the mattresses were very thin so none of us got the best nights sleep. Also the walls are very thin and anytime anybody moved or did anything throughout the night, the noise was very apparent.. however, we were aware of all of this upfront and it totally served its purpose in terms of giving us a place to lay our heads for a few hours before returning home the next day. There are little TVs and electrical outlets in your pod, and while there are USB outlets to charge your electrical devices, both of the ones in my pod did not work. Overall, I would stay here again but not if I was looking for something that offers a high level of comfort or luxury

LLawrence13The hotel is nice and has a basement common area equipped with a projector, dining table, sofa, and many amenities for travelers to relax. It’s a great space for solo travelers who want to rest or meet other travelers. There are kitchen utensils available for simple cooking, and a water filter is also provided.
The room is suitable for couples who mainly stay at the hotel at night while spending the daytime exploring Taipei. The staff are friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located near Taipei Underground Street and the Taoyuan Airport MRT.

TTay98I stayed here on two occasions as I loved it so much I wanted to extend (but it was booked out over the weekend). As a solo traveller this place is perfect. Fantastic location right next to the MRT. So close to plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The rooms are small but absolutely perfect for what I needed. The same price as a 30 bed hostel dorm room with the privacy of your own space and much quieter. The bathroom was small but I never had to wait for a shower which I was surprised by. The whole place was always clean. Honestly I couldn’t recommend this place more I loved it!!

MMay See The WorldThe location is great, just few minutes walk to ximending walking district. But the hotel is at 4F in a very old building. The room is quite small with low ceiling and moldy in the wall. However, i got the room with window with at least i can see some view outside but also noisy from the street.
The service is nice and friendly.

AAnonymous UserOnly stayed for one night. Booked it I think the night before or the same day. It’s cheap, for a private room with TV and bathroom. It’s quiet. The front desk, was very considerate at the time. The regular check-in is at 3pm, but she let me leave my stuff and go back at 12pm. That was only about an hour of waiting or even less. Just enough to have my breakfast. They have a pet cat, it’s the cutest thing ever. Basic necessities are there. Not really a downside for me, but it’s still good to know that you gotta take a 22-step stairs, to get into the elevator. It’s just how it is. It’s in a GREAT location though. Like before entering the elevator, it’s Mala Hotpot. Before taking the stairs, it’s Family Mart. And it’s located inside the Ximending night market area. I’d actually stay here again when I come back. If I’d need a private room versus dorm type.
The only thing that needs improvement is cleaning the entire room: they haven’t cleaned the under bed really well. Like I was trying to look for my slippers, so I bent down and saw the previous disposable slippers are there too. False eyelashes. Dust. Hair. Used bottles. But if you think of it, why would you need the under bed cleaned anyway? Well at least for me. It’s not a super big deal. But I remember some people have allergies and this might trigger them. So yeah. It still needs to be improved on. And it might become source of insects, bed bags maybe? or whatsoever. Oh, and the electric pot wasn’t that clean as well. I think we shouldn’t normalize that regardless if it’s not being used often by every guest. I to use the water dispenser outside(which defeats the purpose of having your pwn kettle in your room right).
Overall, I’d still stay here for the sake of cheap price, quiet environment and its location.

GGuest UserThe outdoor password entry terminal was a bit confusing; I didn't realize you had to touch it for the numbers to appear. There's a 'Touch Here' sign on the room door, but not on the outside door, which would be helpful. Alternatively, it should be displayed on the web.
The room itself was very clean, and it was great that the toilet paper could be flushed.
