From the moment we booked the room, a dedicated butler group was created for us. They bought our round-trip ferry tickets, and upon disembarking, a butler was waiting at the pier to help with our luggage—we didn't have to carry anything ourselves. Our butler, Isak, was incredibly thoughtful. He not only planned a route to Gulangyu Island that avoided the crowds, but also went out to buy me medicine when he knew I wasn't feeling well. This friend-like care was so heartwarming. The room's details were impeccable: Aesop toiletries, a Wenxian turndown fragrance, a handwritten welcome note, a complimentary minibar, and even a different set of Gulangyu poems on gold-flecked paper by the bedside each day. The turndown service drew the curtains, lit the aromatherapy, and even prepared a meditation chair—truly taking ”natural healing” to the extreme.

This isn't my first time staying here, and I really love it; the experience is consistently great. The breakfast selection changes a bit daily, always featuring authentic Southern Fujian specialties. There's a wide variety and the food tastes excellent. The room is also very dorm-like, quiet, and the bed is fantastic, leading to naturally high-quality sleep. The only minor downside is that the pool isn't very big, but the water quality is excellent. Also, our butler, Merry, took great care of us. For example, she'd ask what we wanted refilled in the minibar and prepared turn-down service nightly before we came back (which included a pre-sleep dessert, a floor mat next to the bed, and indoor slippers).

The hotel room is fully equipped, smart, and convenient! My overall experience at the hotel was particularly satisfying. The facilities are brand new and complete, the room has a separate wet and dry area, the hot water is ample, the internet speed is smooth, and the bedding is just the right firmness. The entire room was spotlessly clean, with no dust in the corners, and the sound insulation was also good. The self-service breakfast offered a rich variety, with hot dishes, pastries, drinks, and fruits, all made with fresh ingredients and tasting great. The staff provided attentive service. Both the hardware facilities and the food were outstanding. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

This is a very good hotel. It is right next to the shopping mall, so restaurants and coffee shops are everywhere. We really appreciated the friendly front desk staff getting us an upgraded room. It is spacious, cleaned, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we need. We love their long and cleaned pool. It’s perfect for lap swimmers. Definitely we will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

My stay at Xiamen C&D Hotel was absolutely perfect, I highly recommend it! The hotel's ambiance is elegant and grand, with a charming, antique-infused lobby featuring just the right amount of greenery, creating a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle. The guest rooms are clean, tidy, and spacious, with soft, comfortable bedding. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring an undisturbed night's sleep, and all amenities are complete and well-maintained. The service was truly impeccable. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and check-in was efficient and quick. A special shout-out to Lobby Manager Wu Yanzu for being so thoughtful and enthusiastic, and the housekeeping staff were meticulous and attentive. The service throughout our stay was proactive and thorough, with prompt responses to all our needs. The complimentary airport pick-up and shuttle service to tourist attractions were particularly thoughtful, and the staff patiently answered all our questions about getting around. This established five-star hotel lives up to its reputation with a comfortable environment and heartwarming service. It's perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen.

The hotel generally has a high-quality feel to it; upon entering, there's no overwhelming noise, making it perfect for those seeking a quiet moment during their travels. The room was clean and quite spacious, and the bedding was just right – not too soft, not too firm, ensuring a great night's sleep. A special shoutout to Evelyn, our butler, who kindly arranged a complimentary kids' play area for my child. She was a pleasure to communicate with, responded promptly, and proactively thought of many small details, making it feel like the service wasn't just about following procedures, but genuinely considering the guest's perspective. The free hotel shuttle was also very convenient, making transportation arrangements much easier. Honestly, what matters most in a hotel stay are the details and the overall experience, and this time, everything from check-in to check-out was smooth, with no unpleasant surprises. Xiamen itself is a city perfect for slow exploration, and Wyndham Xiamen Yuuzhou provided a wonderfully comfortable base for this trip. Overall, it's highly recommended.

Our family had never been to Xiamen before, so we weren’t quite sure where to stay. We are absolutely thrilled with our decision to choose the TUI BLUE Royal Oceanview Hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. Check-in was smooth and the reception staff were incredibly accommodating and welcoming, even with the language barrier. The hotel itself is absolutely breathtaking, and the friendliness of the entire team—from the hotel chauffeurs to the wonderful waitresses in the breakfast restaurant—made us feel truly at home. We booked two rooms, and both were immaculate, beautifully maintained, and incredibly spacious. We were especially impressed by the hotel management’s attention to detail and how attentive they were to our needs as guests. We also loved spending time at the enormous and beautiful outdoor swimming pool and the hot springs. To make our stay even more enjoyable, the reception staff and manager went above and beyond by helping us arrange bookings for Underwater World. Our family had such a wonderful experience, and we would definitely consider returning in the near future. Our stay at the Shangri-La Xiamen was excellent overall. Before check-in, Yulia proactively contacted us to coordinate everything in advance. She meticulously shared all the hotel's activity guides, explaining the schedules and important notes very clearly. She even thoughtfully helped us book hotel activities, saving us the trouble of planning ourselves. The hotel's attention to detail was outstanding. Our room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the public areas were well-maintained, creating a quiet and elegant atmosphere. The staff were responsive, and their service was gentle and attentive. From the pre-arrival communication to our time at the hotel, we felt comfortable and relaxed. Both the facilities and the service were top-notch. It was a very satisfying stay, and I highly recommend it.

Pan Pacific Xiamen — Disappointing Hardware, Good Staff Our stay at Pan Pacific Xiamen was unfortunately below expectations for a hotel of this level. The biggest issue is that the property and rooms feel significantly dated and in need of refurbishment. The room design, including the excessive use of mirrors, feels from another era, while the television is surprisingly small by current hotel standards. Soundproofing was also poor, which affected the overall comfort of the stay. We were equally disappointed with the restaurant. Both the quality and portion sizes of the food did not meet our expectations, particularly considering the positioning and pricing of the hotel. This is an area that seriously needs improvement. The location is reasonably convenient, but not enough to compensate for the ageing rooms and other shortcomings. The hotel's saving grace is its staff. Everyone we encountered was polite, friendly and genuinely eager to assist, which we appreciated very much. However, while the attitude was consistently positive, there were moments where we felt additional hospitality and service training would help the team deliver a more polished five-star experience. Overall, there are good people working here, but the physical product and some aspects of the hospitality experience are falling behind newer hotels in Xiamen. A substantial refurbishment, together with further service development, would make a significant difference. Rating: 6/10.

Out of my two-week trip, the Renaissance Xiamen Hotel was what I was looking forward to the most 🏨, but reality hit us hard. This was, surprisingly, the most disappointing stay of the entire journey. 👇 💢 **Noise Nightmare** Late at night, guests upstairs were still jumping around 💃, and then in the early hours, I was woken up by the chattering of the aunties next door 🗣️. I spent the entire night in torment 😫. After complaining, the front desk actually blamed the parents?! ”We can't control children jumping around.” This response definitely deserves a bad review 🙅‍♀️. 💢 **Service Fails** I asked for two bowls when checking in 🥣, but even this simple request was messed up ❌. What's worse: I asked for them around 10 PM when I checked in, and they didn't arrive until almost midnight 🕛. The efficiency was simply abysmal. 💢 **Chaotic Environment** The hotel entrance was crowded with vendors' stalls 💥. Is this really a five-star hotel? 🤔 ✨ **Only Positives** The bedding was indeed comfortable 🛏️, and the breakfast selection was quite rich 🥐. The decor was truly distinctive (too bad I had no mood for photos 📸). **Summary:** Came with high expectations, left utterly disappointed 😔. Suggest avoiding this one! ‼️
