AAnonymous UserFrom the moment we walked into the Fairmont Xiamen and met Susan, we felt the warmth of service that comes from the collaboration between Xiamen Airlines and Accor. The hotel's environment is elegant and grand, and the public areas and rooms are impeccably clean, with details that truly put you at ease. Susan's check-in explanation was incredibly thorough, and the thoughtful room arrangement immediately eased our travel fatigue. It's clear the facilities are very well-maintained. This hotel is now our top choice for our next visit to Xiamen.

GGuest UserOur overall stay was fantastic! The location is superb, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was spotless, clean, and odor-free, which made for a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, offering attentive and prompt service. We felt safe and relaxed throughout our entire stay. It offers incredible value for money, and I highly recommend it! The influencer-worthy pool is also perfect for photos.

HHaman_ZhengThe rooms were misleadingly traditional and dated. What they called a 'sea view room' wasn't as picturesque as I imagined. The biggest downside is that these sea view rooms face the main road, and the constant traffic noise throughout the night really disturbed my sleep (though they did mention the noise level at check-in). The soundproofing within the suite itself wasn't great either. The breakfast staff were quite indifferent and cold. The only good thing was that they provided takeaway coffee cups at the entrance of the breakfast restaurant, which was convenient for guests who wanted to take their coffee with them after the meal.

MMushroom ShumOne of the best hotels we have ever stayed at! My daughter absolutely loved the NX Kids Club and had an amazing time at the hotel.
Front desk staff Yulia (小杨) was incredibly helpful. She arranged special meals for my 2-year-old daughter and assisted us with many requests.
The hotel is very close to the beach, and the rooms are spacious and clean. All the staff are extremely friendly, they would rush to help us with our luggage every time they saw us carrying too much. It was a truly remarkable stay. We will definitely stay here again next time!

GGuest UserIt's been so long since a hotel made us want to write a review even before checking out, haha! A special thanks to Pearl Cheng, the Guest Relations Manager, for reserving our room, arranging the anniversary setup, and providing so many thoughtful services. We chose this hotel because we've always had a great impression of Langham in Guangzhou and Hong Kong. So, whenever we travel and there's a Langham in the city, we always allocate two nights to stay there. This time, for our short holiday in Xiamen, we started with Langham as well.
The hotel facilities are very well-maintained, and the view from the window is spectacular. The Bak Kut Teh and Satay Noodles (p5) for breakfast were excellent. I had a feeling they would offer Xiamen specialties since the Langham in Guangdong had amazing 'cheong fun' (rice noodle rolls), and I was right – they were fantastic. The offerings at the cafe and lounge also left a deep impression; it was very relaxing to sit there in the afternoon.
Since it was our anniversary, Manager Cheng left us a cake (p1) and thoughtfully noticed that we arrived late on the first day, suggesting they prepare it for us on the second day instead. The souvenir she prepared was also exquisite. Room service (p2) was very fast, and the food was exceptionally good.
On the second night, there was a continuous buzzing sound in the bathroom. We reported it, and a technician arrived very quickly. He was very professional, troubleshooting the issue by turning off and on various devices like the air conditioning, quickly pinpointing and fixing the problem. Before leaving, he even adjusted the air conditioning back to its original temperature – such attention to detail, very reassuring. Another detail: the accompanying staff member on duty offered to change our room immediately if the issue couldn't be resolved quickly, and then move our luggage the next day so as not to disturb our rest. This kind of service is truly unheard of in other hotels; I genuinely commend them.
The marble in the bathroom looked like it was of excellent quality. The only minor flaw was that it would have been even better if the towels weren't yellowish. Overall, this hotel definitely added a positive impression to my experience in Xiamen. I regret not staying here last time, haha! Both the initial contact and follow-ups were very prompt. What truly impressed me was that when I told Manager Cheng on the phone that I would definitely write a detailed positive review, she was more concerned about any issues I might have experienced rather than the review itself. It's truly hard not to admire that.
I hope the hotel continues to thrive, and I look forward to seeing you again on my next visit to Xiamen.

GGuest UserThe hotel facilities are very thoughtful; they even provide free chargers by the bed, so it's no big deal if you forget yours. The environment is great, with a sea view right outside the window, and you can't hear any traffic at night. As for cleanliness, under the bed and in the sofa crevices were spotless, with no dust accumulation. The service details were meticulous; the front desk even proactively offered a parting gift when I checked out, which was a lovely touch.

MMoshengren1967The environment is elegant and quiet. The front desk staff provided excellent service. The room was great, very spacious, and came with a hot spring tub. We could also go to the outdoor hot springs across the street, and there was a shuttle bus available, which was very convenient and comfortable.
The swimming pool isn't huge, but it's heated, and thankfully, it wasn't crowded, so it was nice for a workout.
Breakfast was rich with plenty of choices. Thumbs up!

GGuest UserThe room was very clean, and the whole hotel felt relaxing from the moment I stepped in. I originally went alone to unwind, as I'd been feeling quite down. Yummy, the butler, was incredibly thoughtful and anticipated all my needs; the service was exceptional. At one point, I had no appetite and didn't know what to order for delivery, so I ended up ordering a bit of everything throughout the night. Mark, the concierge, kindly brought all the deliveries up to my room. I had such a wonderful time during my stay at the hotel. Next time, I hope I can visit when I'm in a much better mood.

GGuest UserI specifically chose to travel during the off-peak season to Xiamen, which truly lives up to its reputation as a 'garden city.' My child loves animals, so I picked this hotel. We met a lovely manager in the lobby (I think her surname was Lai) who was incredibly kind and helped us upgrade to an animal-themed room. My child was absolutely thrilled! The hotel's parking and access to the zoo were very convenient. We even bought circus tickets for the little one, which was totally worth it – my child had the best time! Great value for money! We had a fantastic stay!
