Best Sobetsu Hotels

The most satisfying hotel on this trip, the scenery is picturesque. When you walk out of the room, you will see the beautiful snow scenery. You can enjoy the snow while taking a bath, which is a full life experience. The room is very large, the facilities and items are very complete, and the service attitude is very good. Every staff member always has a smile on his face and is very enthusiastic to help. It is only a five-minute taxi ride from the shore of Lake Toya. The kaiseki dinner is very exquisite, and there is a separate private room for privacy. The pudding delivered every day is very delicious! This time I was able to book Song of Light. My trip to Hokkaido was worthwhile. I really couldn’t get enough of it. I will come again next time!

It was a very cozy small hotel with lots of personal service by the owner. She was at reception, personally serving food to us. The food was so good. We had dinner & breakfast included. Location just opposite the Lake Toya facing the center of Nakajima island.

Hotel is old but rooms are huge and functional. Reception is a little cold. Parking is free and comes with onsen. It is located beside lake Toya and we had a chance to see the fireworks at night.

第一晚的房間，感覺很好，有點不想換房間了。但我的訂單，第二晚是四人間（我只有兩人入住），需要先退房再入住另一間房。在攜程和酒店客服用英文溝通，回覆消息很快。但是通知我需要十點退房，下午四點再入住新的房間。白天我們去洞爺湖乘船繞湖一週，湖中有小島，四周都是雪山，特別是羊蹄山景色很美。也去了火山科學館，看了影片解説，詳細介紹了1977年和2000年有珠山兩次火山爆發前後的情景，地表的變化和温泉的形成（發了耳機有中文講解）。回到酒店已是17:30，打開郵件查看新房間號和開門密碼。開門後讓我震驚了！房間真的很大很大，有一間卧室裏面有兩張1.5米床（圖2照片，我們沒用這個房間），和起居室連在一起的房間，也是兩張1.5米床，房間雖然大，但是很温暖，一點都不冷，得益於威力強大的加熱器（見最後第2張圖片）。起居室有兩個大窗户，早上太陽直接射到床上、餐桌上，沐浴着陽光吃早餐，感覺心情也是Sunny 。廚房用具很新，比昨晚的雙床房更齊全，電飯煲、咖啡機都有配。餐桌很長，可供6人用餐。智能馬桶也很温暖。真想住下來不走了。離開時我還想給酒店三個小建議：1、洗臉盆高度較低，需要彎腰使用，洗臉盆的鏡子很Mini ，而且很高，梳頭時我踮起腳，還有點看不到（見圖8）。2、衞生間是浴缸，浴缸的前面牆上，能否增加花灑的底座？因為我們都習慣洗淋浴（見圖12）。3、全自動洗衣機很不錯，但沒找到洗衣液。我到7-11買的洗衣液（見圖9，11），洗了幾條加絨的褲子。房間温度高，到早上衣服就全乾了，對還需繼續旅遊十幾天的我們真好。退房時，將門上的牌子翻轉後即可離開。帶上行李，我們步行五分鐘去車站，趕往我們的下一站—函館。再見！

hotel location is the best, in the centre of the daily night fireworks to view directly from hotel lobby. onsen at level 9 is the best, outdoor soaking at night with steam and daytime soaking experience are both perfect experience. breakfast and dinner are buffet style so you can choose your own dishes but both days breakfast and dinner dishes are the same. travel to hell valley using public bus directly outside the hotel and at toya train station is also very easy to navigate. highly recommend this hotel. only bad thing is aircon not working and need to open windows for air circulation and window is very big so not safe for children when sleeping at night. mattress on single bedframe is very lousy. sleeping on tatami is much more comfy. didn't bath using room bathroom because of the fabulous onsen. can rent yukata for free and return before 10am next day. has bingo game at night before fireworks to keep us occupied.

The host does not speak English and Chinese. He loves cleanliness. He stayed alone and didn't meet. I saw the note printed on the door. The instructions were very clear. Just go to the room table and get the key. Remember to change your shoes upstairs and lift the stairs. You can't wear shoes when you enter the room. After check-in, I have to call the host and send a small gift, thank you. The bathroom door is not very flexible, but it doesn't matter. The host gave the Wanshige soup coupon. It is enough to pay 500 yen. The soup is very good. There is no need to wash it at the host. Experienced the joy of making your bed and staying at a Japanese homestay! (Tips for Chinese tourists, the homeowner emphasizes that garbage should be sorted, if not, he will bring it to 711 and lose it). In short, I am quite satisfied! Also supplemented the knowledge of tatami. The front desk is on the left door, check in to see if there is your name on several doors. In addition, it is recommended that the gray kerosene heater on the right hand be collected, and the new white one in the corner is fine, otherwise you will really smell the kerosene, and it also wrote a reminder for ventilation at least 2 times in an hour. Hotel is old but charming. Tatami style room is small tidy but not very clean (found 1 bed bug crawling around the comforter😱. Onsen is fine but looks aged. But hotel welcome drink when check in is unlimited beer and numerous types of sake is excellent. Hotel staff also very helpful and friendly

Great view for our room and at night I see fireworks from our window. Room is big but a bit old. Bathroom is too small and tiny. Lobby and waiting room areas are nice , clean and comfy. Staffs in the morning are great . They can speak English. No much going on the main street , most shops aren’t open. Behind the hotel has an amazing view of the Toya Lake and in a distance you see Mt. Youteizon. A very relaxing walk and cruise ship comes and goes. We will come back for our vacation in the future.
