Room was spacious and clean. Well equipped with all the amenities required.
Staff were efficient, friendly and could speak basic English.
Breakfast served was basic but excellent.
Definitely highly recommended hotel.

The key to the room was wobbly, and I couldn't open it unless I did it well. The moment I opened the room, I was a little worried about the smell, but there was a reset in each room and it was okay. I don't recommend it for cleanliness, but the food was delicious with a wide variety of foods. If you enter the pool in the morning, it is OK, but in the evening it will be a little dirty. The sauna temperature setting was low.
I complained a lot, but the meal was really satisfying

YYibeizihelaogonglvxingjiehunVery, very good hotel, the service is very considerate, the service staff are all elderly people, but the service is very enthusiastic and professional, and I feel the Japanese professional service spirit. The hotel is very comfortable to bathe, the beach is also beautiful, the restaurant food is delicious, I will definitely come again
KKyaw Ko Ko HtetThe location is right in front of the beach and it is the perfect place to stay if u are going to the Shirahama beach.
Cleanliness is perfect too but I gave it 4/5 because the rooms are not soundproof. We can hear the footstep from the corridor and above room.
The service is perfect too. There is a shuttle bus for the hotel and they let us in from 2:30pm although the actual check in time is 3pm.
The staff will wait for u at the front door to give you towel when you come back from the beach.
As for the amenities, they have massage services (need additional cost), pool, onsen and etc. But we didn’t use most of the, so don’t know about their quality. So I gave it 4/5.
GGuest UserThe garden villa has several types of accommodation: rooms in the main residence with or without ocean view and independent apartments. We were in the standard hotel room on the side. The value for money was very interesting but the decor is outdated, the bathroom is an added cabin and it is a shame not to take full advantage of the balcony overlooking the water. To do it again, we would choose a better room or the apartment. The location is on a hill, close to Shiharama beach where surfers meet. A bus leaves the station (stop 9) and runs along the coast to Ito with a stop almost at the foot of the hotel, however pay attention to the timetable: approximately 1 bus/hour.
The owners are adorable and do not hesitate to transport you if necessary, especially to and from Shimoda station (main access). The exterior is neat with an infinity pool, a small bar and above all 2 outdoor Onsen which we reserve (40 minutes between 4 p.m. and 9:30 p.m./reservation per room so couple OK)).The latter, facing the ocean, are a real plus. A Barbecue/grill restaurant area was being renovated and should allow on-site catering. At the hotel, the breakfast is good but the hours were strict and restricted: 8 a.m.-8:30 a.m....perhaps because we were out of season? Free access to drinks such as coffee, tea, herbal teas, chocolate... In November, calm guaranteed! A rental car would be really nice.
YYouzhe44After getting off the bus, it took a few minutes to walk. The bus stop is on the Baibin Seaside, and you can see the Baibin Bird Residence and the Shrine. We came here a bit cold this season, and it is estimated that the summer is still very good. There are convenience stores around, and there is a ramen shop opposite the shrine, which should be open until night 7.30. The villa does not provide meals. When you play around during the day, you will come back after dinner. The last bus is more than 7 o'clock. After you come back, there is nothing to play and eat. Fortunately, the price is very cheap.
GGuest UserThe service is very good. The front desk can speak simple English, and a translator is needed for more. The quilt in the room is very soft and comfortable, the fragrance in the room is also very good, and the hot spring soup is very comfortable. Although it is said to be public, it is actually used separately (there are two rooms with lockable doors). There are also vending machines selling drinks after soaking in the hot spring. It is about ten minutes' walk from the station. It is a bit difficult to walk with a large suitcase because the sidewalk is narrow. Overall, it is a good experience.
AAnonymous UserThe service was very good and the place is amazing. Nevertheless they didn’t allow us to have dinner or breakfast in the hotel as they said it was fully booked, and when requested for late check in we were asked to pay more. It would have been expected to be able to at least check in a bit later since we couldn’t enjoy the dinner or breakfast in the hotel and was inconvenient.
SShuitaishenbawobuzhuAdvantages: The price is cheaper than other old hotels on this coastline, the sunrise is beautiful, the sea is beautiful, the scenery is beautiful, the beach is white, and the sand is very fine. There is a shrine next to it, and there is a seaside torii.
Disadvantages:
The place is remote and will waste time on public transportation, and public transportation here is also inconvenient.
The hotel is very old and the rooms are very old. Choose the tatami room carefully because there are many insects.
It is basically equivalent to no service, and you have to do everything yourself.
Starting with a piece of paper, all the facilities of the hotel must be studied and explored by yourself.
I met a Japanese guest with a serious skin disease (suspected to be plum) in the big bath. I was scared and dared not wash. I went back to the room and rubbed it twice. The staff saw it but did not stop the person from entering the bathhouse.
Arranging a room next to the elevator on the lower floor can only be said to be the basic operation of daily life.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very nice, the room is very large and comfortable, facing the sea, there are large baths and open-air hot springs to soak. There are good free drinks on the first floor and the front desk service is very thoughtful. Although it is close to the road, it is not very noisy. There is a bus at the door, and walking across the road is the famous Jinmu Pavilion canteen.
But Ctrip's hotel facilities description is problematic, the hotel does not have free pick-up, you have to walk from the train station or take a taxi by yourself.
GGuest UserThere is a bus license plate at the door of this hotel. There is a 24-hour beef rice next to it, and there is a 711, which is very convenient for shopping. Facing the sea, it is a sea view room. The price/performance ratio is really super high. The hotel attendant was very nice and took the luggage to the house. The hotel was renovated at first glance and the room was very clean. The furniture is not high class, but it is enough, and the balcony is also very good.
But there is no hot water in the room. I prefer to take a shower in the big bath. It doesn't matter. People who don't have hot water can't accept it. Please be cautious.
GGuest UserVery Japanese style, suitable for foreigners who want to experience pure Japanese style and natural hot springs. It’s so worth it, so mysterious and amazing🤩
