The hotel seems to have been recently renovated. Spacious, clean, with attention to details. Great breakfast. The service is equally excellent and attentive. Have absolutely enjoyed our 5 nights stay and will definitely book again next time we are in Shanghai.

The moment you step in, you're captivated by the New Chinese design. The lobby, infused with the scent of wood, blends the Zen tranquility of Suzhou gardens. The space, a collaboration between Zhu & Zhou Design and 'Shang Xia,' perfectly embodies the 'heavenly circle, earthly square' Eastern philosophy, instantly whisking you away from the city's hustle and bustle. The room is spacious and tidy, with surprising details: a high-quality Dyson hairdryer and Nespresso capsule coffee machine, elegant 'Shang Xia' toiletries, and the added comfort of a smart toilet and floor-to-ceiling windows. The extra-long vanity desk meets all your display needs, and the complimentary first round of the MiniBar is a thoughtful touch. The service is impeccable. The front desk staff are efficient, patient, and attentive. The welcome tea upon check-in and the Dragon Pearl Pu'er tea souvenir upon departure were incredibly heartwarming. The package also included an afternoon tea, perfect for a relaxing drink with friends or family. I will definitely be returning often.

Found a real gem of a hotel! My experience here was absolutely fantastic 💯. The room was spacious and bright, and the bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, providing great privacy and making me feel very secure. The shower stall was super roomy, and the button design was incredibly ergonomic and user-friendly. It even had motion-sensing lights, which were convenient and thoughtful for nighttime use. The view from the window was also amazing, a real treat for the eyes. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip!

The hotel's interior is very modern with new facilities and a large mirror. My check-in experience was great. The best part was the restaurant – delicious food and a beautiful ambiance. I especially loved the noodles! The toppings were fantastic. However, the hotel's cleanliness in some details could be improved. The King Koil mattress, which they boast about, felt rather ordinary. Comfortable, but not amazing. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot despite being right next to Liucheng New World, with plenty of great food and drink options nearby. The minibar is refreshed daily with a good variety of drinks.
