We had an awesome stay at Hotel Indigo in May. The view was amazing, the room was super comfy and stylish, and the location couldn’t have been better for checking out the city. Breakfast was tasty with lots of choice, and the staff were all great. Big shoutout to Henry at the front desk – he made us feel really welcome and was super helpful when we had a little issue. Also don’t miss their rooftop bar, delivering Shanghai’s iconic skyline with a well crafted cocktail on top🍹 Would definitely stay here again!

The lobby design seamlessly blends modern art with oriental aesthetics; its nearly 10-meter high soaring ceiling, adorned with crystal chandeliers, creates an atmosphere that is both grand and wonderfully inviting. Check-in at the front desk was incredibly efficient, taking just three minutes to complete all formalities, and they thoughtfully assigned me a room I was delighted with. **The Room: Absolutely Flawless!** The moment I opened the door, I couldn't help but exclaim 'Wow!' My 60+ square meter deluxe king room was incredibly spacious and bright, with 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline. The bedding was supremely luxurious; sleeping in it felt like floating on clouds. The ergonomic chair in the dedicated work area meant I could work late into the night without feeling any fatigue. The most delightful surprise was finding local specialty snacks and a handwritten welcome card in the minibar. The heated pool boasted crystal-clear water, and the sauna in the changing room was the perfect spot to unwind and melt away any fatigue. **Heartwarming Service That Goes Above and Beyond!** Returning to my room on the second evening, I discovered that not only had turn-down service been completed, but a warm cup of bedtime tea and a handwritten weather forecast had been thoughtfully placed by the bedside. On my check-out day, when my flight was delayed, Fanny and Chris at the front desk proactively offered a complimentary late check-out until 4 PM. This kind of considerate, above-and-beyond service truly made me feel 'at home' – a genuine sense of being a welcomed guest. **Unbeatable Location!** The hotel boasts a prime location in the city's central business district. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the subway station, making airport access incredibly convenient. Situated right next to Shanghai Railway Station, there's an abundance of dining and shopping options nearby. In the evenings, I could even enjoy a leisurely walk to iconic city landmarks. This stay completely redefined my perception of business hotels; who knew business trips could be this enjoyable! I've already applied to have this hotel added to our company's preferred hotel list. From now on, whenever I visit this city, this will absolutely be my go-to choice. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to all business travelers and vacationers seeking unparalleled quality. A great new option for a Dishui Lake getaway. It's a large hotel with two buildings, and the lakefront building offers a better view. The rooms are large, with high ceilings and a fresh, clean style. The bedding is comfortable, and the lighting is well-designed. The balcony rooms are recommended. We booked a Deluxe Boutique Lake View Balcony Room, with windows on both sides, offering a stunning view of the lake. A chair on the balcony would have been even better. The private walk-in closet is large, with a bathtub and shower integrated, and a small balcony. However, some of the decor is a bit rough, with some glue delamination, and I'm not sure why the chairs have so many scratches. The rooftop pool is large and heated. Guests can enjoy a drink in the lobby bar. Welcome fruit is also available here. The B2 parking lot is exclusively for hotel guests, with an elevator directly to the lobby, and the directions are clear. Breakfast includes a noodle stand and an egg stand, but the selection is limited. The lamb chops were a surprise, but other than that, the options are limited, and the non-vegetarian options are a bit too typical. Having just opened, it's clear the management is taking it seriously. Management is constantly patrolling every area, and all the staff are enthusiastic and hardworking, including the housekeepers, restaurant staff, front desk staff, lobby staff, and the staff on the guest rooms floor. The weekday prices are very good value, but you'll have to pay a premium during holidays.
