The hotel has a charming Chinese-inspired design with lovely bird details and a great location — close to nice restaurants, shopping malls, and easy access to the city center. The staff were friendly, and housekeeping was excellent — everything was cleaned promptly and thoroughly. However, the room was quite small, and the building itself feels a bit old and worn. Overall, it’s not a luxury stay, but still a decent and comfortable option for a short visit to Shanghai.

Getting around is incredibly convenient, with Dapuqiao Metro Station just a 5-minute walk away. The surrounding area is fantastic too, being close to Sun Moonlight Centre and Xintiandi, offering excellent options for dining and shopping. The room boasts a great location and ample natural light. While the facilities of this established star-rated hotel are a bit dated, the service experience is absolutely top-notch. I particularly appreciated that food deliveries are brought directly to the room by either concierge staff or a robot.

Traveling to Shanghai, I stayed at the CitiGO Hotel North Bund Huangpu Riverfront. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the surrounding area is quiet and safe, making it ideal for family trips and business travel. The room was clean and tidy, with complete amenities, including smart home features, a gym, laundry room, and coffee machine. What really stood out was the service. On November 4th, the day I checked in, the two front desk ladies on duty were incredibly warm and thoughtful. Due to a noise issue in my room, I requested a room change if possible. They proactively coordinated and helped me resolve the problem, even offering a complimentary room upgrade. These small details really touched me. With its great value for money and comfortable experience, CitiGO Hotel North Bund Huangpu Riverfront will definitely be my top choice for my next trip to Shanghai.

I've been staying here for three consecutive years when I come for concerts. It's really close to the venue, and the experience is always fantastic. They even upgraded my room this time! The hotel's service is incredibly thoughtful, from the rich buffet breakfast and exquisite afternoon tea to a comforting late-night congee – everything was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and tidy, feeling just as comfortable as home. The free, well-equipped gym met all my daily workout needs. And free parking saved me a lot of hassle since I was driving. A special shout-out to the ladies at the front desk – their warm and professional service really elevated the entire stay! Whether for business or leisure, this is my top choice in Shanghai. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful and pleasant stay! The ambiance was elegant, the shower had multiple functions, and the facilities were modern and stylish. Breakfast was also good. It's a 10-minute walk from Hengshan Road subway station, and right opposite Xujiahui Park and the Xujiahui commercial area. Diagonally across the street is the very popular, local-favorite Fuchun Xiaolongbao specialty store, serving authentic Shanghainese dishes that are diverse and delicious, in a tranquil and elegant dining environment. It's convenient for local residents' three meals a day, open from 8:00 to 20:00, with great food that's affordable and tasty! The service was excellent, with all staff proactively greeting guests. 👌🏻 From the 23rd floor, the view outside is beautiful: the French sycamore trees of Tiancheng are lush and canopy-covered. At night, the skyscrapers of the Xujiahui commercial area stand tall, with streetlights reflecting in a dazzling array of colors, especially the magnificent big sphere of Metro City, which is a striking landmark with its rotating advertisements – truly a sight to behold!

The hotel is a bit older, but it boasts an excellent location on the quiet Hengshan Road, which is very pleasant for a stroll. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Room cleanliness was acceptable, and the service was truly outstanding! Staying here felt very reassuring, like coming home. This booking included afternoon tea at the executive lounge, but after one visit, I didn't want to go back. The cookies and pastries were of poor quality; the cookies were stale, though the macarons weren't bad. There was a very limited selection... so I skipped happy hour entirely and didn't go even once.

This hotel is excellent. It’s in a convenient location; the rooms are clean and well-equipped. Staff were friendly and polite; check-in and check-out were smooth. Xiaoya was especially attentive. I was too tired to go get dinner the first night so it was a nice surprise when she texted me asking if I wanted some fresh fruit delivered via robot courier. I’m sure everyone gets complimentary fruit but I was very appreciative. They also serve late night snacks from 10pm-11pm, though I did not partake. I would definitely stay here again. The room is quite comfortable and spacious. The bed is quite comfy and big, even for two people. Location wise is pretty great, the metro station is roughly 5 minutes walk away, with stores like a Familymart and McDonald's near the hotel, so its doable to get your own quick breakfast if you did not opt for the hotel breakfast. Did not explore the wider vicinity so might have missed even more food options near to the hotel. Theres a free minibar which is quite appreciated especially if want a drink after a long trip day. The hotel staff also provided free drinks (similar to the welcome drink during check in) after checking out. The downside is that the toilet had issues of getting clogged (twice) but the hotel staff quickly resolved it before we are back to the hotel room at the end of the day. Additionally, the hotel cleaners may need to be more attentive on the small things like refilling the body shampoo as it ran out and it is only refilled by the last night of our stay. Would consider this hotel again the next time I'm in Shanghai

I stay here several times a year. There aren't many dining options around the hotel, and since it's located in an alley, I prefer staying on a higher floor for safety. They accommodated my room request and provided an eye mask and body lotion. The hotel has a laundry room with a dryer, which is really convenient for longer stays. The breakfast isn't extensive but it's decent. Initially, there was a musty smell in the hallway, but they addressed it immediately after I reported it.
