I must express my dissatisfaction with the unprofessional conduct of the hotel staff. During the check-in process, the receptionist prioritized a phone call over assisting me, forcing me to seek service at another location. Unfortunately, the situation repeated itself, as the second staff member displayed similar discourtesy by failing to properly verify my identity and directing me to a different building. Upon arriving at the VIP building, I encountered a particularly rude staff member who made me wait while he engaged in an unprofessional phone conversation, casually discussing someone else’s account details in Shanghainese with another colleague. His demeanor and behavior demonstrated a lack of professionalism and courtesy, which was particularly disappointing given his senior position.

Front Office Service was great! From the moment we arrived, the receptionist greeted us with a warm smile and promptly checked us in. They were very attentive to our needs, providing useful information about the hotel facilities and local attractions. The process was efficient and hassle-free, making our arrival smooth and enjoyable. Overall, the front office staff exceeded our expectations with their professionalism and friendliness. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service during their stay.

The most comfortable hotel I stayed in when I was on a business trip in Shanghai. It is very close to the company. I saw the photos online and thought it was okay, so I booked it. It felt very good to stay here. The hotel is like a villa or a garden. There is a large yard where you can park your car. It is also very well isolated from the noise of the road and it is quite quiet; The room is very spacious. I like the washbasin very much. It is particularly bright and spacious. The toilet can be heated by itself, which is more comfortable when it is cold; I recommend you to try the breakfast. It is a very warm and stylish restaurant with rich dishes and very comfortable to eat! Overall, I am quite satisfied and will stay there again next time I go on a business trip!

Firstly, you need to work hard if you arrive with luggages by metro, because the nearest metro Exit 2 is only have going down Escalator, but going up by stairs only. Secondly, it is on high trafic roads and its noisy all night when sleeping. Seem the window in our room also can't be shut up enough due to defective. We did not take breakfast because they only have A, B or C set menu but there are lots of foods nearby, so its not an inconvenience. Shower is good. Location is good for visiting near by sights, such as Zikawei Library, St Ignatius Cathedral, Wukang Building. IMO, its much better to stay at nearby Jianguo Hotel if the room rate is not much different even though we have not ever stayed at Jianguo Hotel.

The room is quite big, more than 16 square meters. It has windows, is breathable and quiet. The hotel is close to Jiashan Road subway station, which is convenient for travel. There are two restaurants downstairs, which is also convenient for eating. Facilities: The hotel has breakfast and you can use a washing machine to wash clothes. It is very cost-effective.

The room was clean, except for some details like under the bed, where it was full of dust. The closet is small for two people to share and the space available for storing clothes/luggage is in general tiny. Location of the hotel is nice, as it lies in a quite walkable area, and by foot you can reach the Huaihai Road (good for shopping) in 35m. Metro line 9 is a 15m walk. The service was okay. The staff at the reception did not speak English and they offered no help or guidance about the city: quite essential service. Their attitude was in general detached and seemed quite un-open to communicating. Also, after leaving the room and realizing there were still some clothes left inside, I tried to report it to the reception and they just sent me to the room to check without even communicating to the cleaning service. It ended up that my clothes were not in the room anymore and the staff offered no further help, so I left without these clothes. Also, i had explicitly booked a room with “City View” and I was placed in room 1402 with one very dirty window - out of 2 windows available to enjoy the view. After asking to clean it, they made an unsuccessful attempt and then just left me with the dirty window without any kind of compensation. I was only offered to switch to another room in a lower floor and with no city view, which made no sense considering I had paid more specifically to have a room with “City View”. Breakfast is decent and offers a good variety of food. The staff is understanding if a host is taking few minutes past closing time to finish the food. The staff at the breakfast floor is also very nice and friendly. The main perk of the hotel for me was the cafè at the hall, where a very friendly girl employee works. She was very nice and gave me and my girlfriend some unique advice on places to visit in the city. She was of course also making extremely good flat white and coffee. Balancing everything out though, if was to come back to Shanghai, I would probably choose a different hotel.

The hotel was very neat, comfortable and very close to the sub way station, The protocol for lodging was very simple for me as foreigner and I really felt relaxed while lodged in the hotel. I recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a cheap good hotel in Shanghai.

the location to eating places is very convenient. Shopping malls are within 30 min walk. However, note the hotel only provides very basic toiletries, like toothbrush, shower cap and cotton buds. Breakfast is simple but sufficient for busy travelers. their drip coffee and tea leaves provided in the room are good. the only thing that prevent me from giving 5 stars is the lighting in the room. They used mainly yellow light so the visibility is not very good and there is no light at the wardrobe area. Overall, it is not too bad a hotel choice with the reasonable rate.

This apartment hotel, introduced by a friend, has complete room facilities and equipment, including a separate washing machine and a large refrigerator. It is very convenient to store any fruits you buy in the refrigerator. The front desk service is friendly and very close to the Sun Moon Center shopping mall!
