The environment is beautiful, clean, and tidy. The lady at the front desk was very polite, warm, attentive, and thoughtful. It's very close to the airport, so taking a taxi is super convenient. There are also many fun attractions nearby. The room was impeccably clean and tidy; the cleaning staff did a great job. The breakfast had a rich variety and tasted delicious. The cocktails were also really good. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I recommend everyone to stay here. Thumbs up!👍🏻
With school starting soon, we decided to have a staycation in Shanghai and stumbled upon this hotel, which offered a really great value package. The buffet dinner featured several flavors of crayfish, which, though a bit small, were very tasty. We also thoroughly enjoyed the salmon. The breakfast spread was also very rich, featuring some local Shanghai specialties like *shengjian* (pan-fried buns) and *doufuhua* (tofu pudding). With three coffee machines, there was practically no queue. We visited the swimming pool in the evening, which also had a sauna room. The soundproofing in the room was decent, and the hotel staff were very friendly. The pink art installation in the lobby was also quite charming. It's conveniently located next to a shopping mall and the Baolong Art Museum, with the Minhang Museum also within walking distance. Overall, it offers excellent value for money.
On a business trip to Shanghai, I was very satisfied with my stay at the Novotel Shanghai Hongqiao Airport! The location is fantastic – a taxi ride to Hongqiao Hub takes about 10 minutes, making it super convenient for catching flights or high-speed trains. There's no need to allocate extra commute time, which is perfect for those on a tight schedule.
The room decor features a simple yet elegant French style. The space is well-designed and not cramped. The bedding meets star-rated standards for softness, and the pillows are just the right height, ensuring a good night's sleep after working late. The bathroom has a thorough wet-and-dry separation, and the toiletries have Novotel's exclusive fragrance, feeling quite luxurious. Hot water supply is stable and at a comfortable temperature.
Service was excellent throughout. The front desk staff were warm and professional, and check-in was very quick. The hotel breakfast was amazing, with a rich selection of both Chinese and Western dishes. There was a live noodle station, fresh fruits, and exquisite desserts – all nutritious and delicious.
In addition, the hotel's business facilities are comprehensive, with meeting rooms and printing services readily available, and the internet speed is fast and stable. The surrounding area is well-developed, with convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance. The value for money far exceeds other hotels in the same price range. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next visit to Shanghai, and I highly recommend it to both business and leisure travelers!

The B&B has an excellent location, right in the heart of Qibao Old Street. The hosts were incredibly warm and accommodating, always ready to help. They even helped us carry a lot of our luggage, which we really appreciated! When I requested a clothes steamer, they brought it to me instantly. The B&B is well-equipped with a microwave, bathtub, bathrobes, and even a swimming pool! A nice touch was the smart toilets, which automatically activate as you approach. They even provided two duvet options (thick and thin) in the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. We stayed in a loft room, which was incredibly spacious – we even joked that we could throw a party in it! The host even had hair ties available, and honestly, they were the best I've ever used – so gentle on the hair and incredibly smooth! There are plenty of great food options nearby, and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit!
An incredibly delightful trip!
First and foremost, a massive thank you to Manager Claire for arranging such a perfect room and the surprise decorations ❤️ It was absolutely flawless!
The staff were all exceptionally nice and showed great empathy. The housekeeping auntie cleaned very diligently; everything from the tables to the bathtub in the bathroom was meticulously spotless. The evening happy hour was also good, offering hot dishes, fruits, desserts, appetizers, and drinks.
Although I only stayed for one night, it was truly excellent. Highly recommended!
Before booking a room yesterday, I asked the hotel if they could project screens in their rooms. I waited for a definitive answer before booking the room. When I arrived, I saw people smoking in the lobby (and the smoke was so strong it was a bit suffocating). I had requested a room with projected screens, but they gave me one without a TV. I called the front desk and was told to switch rooms. Then, around 10 a.m., I heard the sound of a construction drill (last picture). I didn't realize they were installing a TV until I left the room. Why couldn't they have said something like, ”Sir, we'll be installing a TV tomorrow around 10 a.m., so it might disturb your rest,” etc.? No way! Overall, the hotel environment is pretty good, and the renovation and management style is nice too! I think I'm pretty objective overall. Anyway, the fact that my sleep was disturbed made me feel a little uncomfortable!
I was on a business trip to Shanghai, and after I finished my work, I specifically looked for accommodation in Qibao Ancient Town. This hotel is right inside the ancient town, so the location is excellent. It was convenient to head back after exploring the town in the evening. The room was spacious and decorated in an antique style. I chose a riverside room, and the balcony was huge. There's also a coffee shop on the first floor of the hotel, which was quite nice.
The biggest surprise of this trip was choosing the right hotel! The location is truly unbeatable – just a ten-minute walk to the subway station, with shopping centers and food streets all around. It's super convenient for getting around and finding food. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly; I fell asleep instantly. The soundproofing was amazing; I couldn't hear any outside noise at all. The bathroom had plenty of hot water and stable water pressure, and the toiletries were high-quality. The service was also very warm and welcoming! Check-in was super fast. When I needed to borrow a charger mid-stay, a staff member brought it to my room within minutes, smiling and friendly throughout, making me feel completely at ease. The hotel's buffet breakfast offered a rich variety of options, both Chinese and Western, all fresh and delicious, and even the coffee was freshly ground. The free WiFi was incredibly fast, perfect for work or streaming without any issues. Overall, the facilities are very well-maintained, showing attention to detail everywhere. The value for money is absolutely fantastic. I had a comfortable and reassuring stay. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely choose this place again next time!
We’re a family of four and stayed in the zoo-themed family twin room. The room was clean and fun, with LEGO toys and a smart toilet. Beds (1.2m) were a bit small for adults, but still comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was mainly Chinese, with delicious handmade wontons and sticky rice rolls—very local and tasty. The free self-service laundry and dryer were a huge plus for families. Great location near malls, restaurants, and the metro. Very convenient and family-friendly!
The hotel is brand new, and despite being recently renovated, the rooms were free of any unpleasant smells. They are spacious, bright, and spotlessly clean. The pillows are very comfortable, and the toiletries provided are excellent. They also offer complimentary self-service laundry facilities. Its location is very close to Hongqiao Airport and the train station, making it extremely convenient for travelers. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the lobby had a pleasant fragrance. Compared to similar hotels in the area, the pricing is also very reasonable. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling by early/late flights or high-speed rail.

Outstanding
GGuest UserThe accommodation is very clean. There is air conditioning as soon as you enter the room. The TV, kettle and other equipment are all in good condition. The pillows and quilts feel good. It is very comfortable to sleep. The service is very good. I will choose this hotel next time I stay in a hotel
__WeChat314614****The hotel as a whole gives people a feeling of elegance and comfort. It is very comfortable to stay in. The service of the front desk staff is very good. I personally think that the price-performance ratio is quite high. I will come again next time if there is a chance!
AAnonymous UserThe service is very bad. I had a stomachache during my period. My friend ordered takeout for me. I asked the front desk attendant to deliver it but he didn't deliver it. He also told my friend that I had gone downstairs several times. My suitcase was broken and needed to be replaced. I called the front desk. They didn't let the logistics staff come up to get it. I could only send it downstairs and go downstairs to get the express delivery. I bought sanitary napkins. I am really fed up with it.
GGuest UserThe hotel is just 5 minutes walk from Qibao ancient town. There are restaurants, cafes, shops and a mall around the hotel. The room i was assigned is adequate size, there is a kitchenette in the room, but only the sink is functional. The are 2 sets of washing machine+dryer which delivers very good laundry quality, jeans can dry in 1.5 hours. The hotel staff can help to manage your laundry for you if you don't mind them handling your stuff.
SShigeyouxiunanhaiGenerally speaking, because the price is reasonable, you can live in it. It is economical and affordable. There are many rooms and you can stay in it. You can choose it according to your own situation. It is not mid-to-high-end.
MM627506****This time I went to Qibao to book this store very comfortable, the price is super affordable, the surrounding attractions, food street can be reached on foot, and the travel is super convenient. The room was warm and exquisite, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and the details were full. It can be seen that the boss spent a lot of thought. The boss is very enthusiastic, give praise to come back next time
LLeon|leiNot bad, I'd say it's good value for money. The room isn't big, but it's close to my company, which is the main thing. The price during the exhibition season was already a great deal; other hotels had raised their prices, but this one hadn't.
__WeChat234945****This is my first time in Shanghai. I really like this hotel. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the ladies in the hotel were very warm, friendly, helpful and considerate. In addition, the hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. The aunties clean the rooms every day. The bedding is also very clean and comfortable. The hotel pays attention to every detail.
What touched me the most was when I was leaving the store, I happened to meet the boss himself while carrying my luggage. The two elder brothers were very kind and kind enough to help me carry my luggage. Thank you so much. I was so touched by such considerate service. It made me feel warm in a strange city. It also brought me an unforgettable stay experience. If I have the opportunity to come here in the future, I will definitely choose to stay here again. It’s worth writing a positive review, highly recommended! !
