Good services and they threw in extra breakfasts. There are no good restaurants and shopping malls nearby. But you can always take DiDi to get to them. DiDi fare is about CNY$15.

My stay at this hotel was exceptional, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. As a brand-new property, everything is modern, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed. The amenities are top-tier: free-use washing and drying machines, a well-equipped gym, a stylish lobby, and complimentary water. Some standout features were the delicious breakfast served until 11 AM and the option to extend checkout until 4 PM for a small fee. The rooms have everything needed for a very comfortable stay. A minor point to note is that the location is a bit off from the main tourist attractions. As a first-time visitor to Shanghai, I found I needed to rely on taxis but it was easily accessible. But what truly sets this hotel apart is its staff. The level of hospitality, from the front desk to the restaurant, was incredible. A special thank you to Eric and a senior gentleman (who speaks flawless English) for their outstanding service, and to the wonderful ladies on the night shift. I stayed at Caption by Hyatt Zhongshan Park Shanghai from September 24 to 25 for a business trip, and the experience was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with great bedding that made for a restful night. The staff were polite, patient, and very helpful, which created a welcoming atmosphere. The location is convenient for getting around the city, and the facilities are modern and practical. Although it was only a one-night stay, everything exceeded my expectations. I would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travel.

This is an affordable and quite convenient option for solo travellers or those staying short-term. The room is clean, it’s spacious and generally quiet (at least from outside traffic). The location is pretty central. The water pressure on the shower is excellent, but be careful with the hot water as it can become scalding hot very quickly. The shower can also overflow to the outside so make sure to aim away from the shower door. It is a 15-20 minute walk from the subway station and as there is currently construction on the way to the station, this path is not the most convenient. If you are near the elevator it can get quite noisy with guests coming and going, as well as children. Another problem was the shortage of bath towels. We only had one large bath towel and had to go down and request this twice. However all the staff and cleaners are friendly and efficient.

Requested for early check in (9am) and was able to provide a nice room. Lobby may not appear impressive but room was pleasant, big, clean and bright. Do not think the hotel has other leisure or recreational facilities. Location is very good, near to metro line 2 and 15. Many shopping centres, restaurants, food eateries and cafes, just next to the hotel. Ideal place for travellers that need basic accommodation.

Serviced apartments are the best for traveling with kids. There is a parking lot downstairs, connected to the Woge Plaza, which is very convenient for food, accommodation and transportation. The room layout is also very similar to the Somerset I stayed in Thailand. The balcony is large and feels like home. Because I stayed with my baby, the hotel also gave me a late check-out until 2 o'clock. Thank you very much!

The hotel's location was easy to find, with plenty of dining options nearby. It's a tranquil oasis in a bustling area. The bedding was excellent, and it was wonderfully quiet at night. The expansive view from the window was a bonus. I usually struggle to fall asleep, but the complimentary goodnight drink combined with the peaceful environment ensured I had a perfect night's rest. The service was also incredibly attentive. The staff were all soft-spoken, and their thoughtful guidance and detailed tips made us feel very well looked after. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The mixed noodles (拌面) and mini wontons (小馄饨) were exceptionally fresh and flavorful, perfectly complemented by a wide variety of fried egg options. It was a truly delightful culinary experience, definitely worthy of being on a 'must-eat' list. I would love to return and experience it again if I get the chance.

The hotel is in close proximity to the subway station at least 3 minutes walk. There's a mall across the street for food and shopping. Taxis are easily accessible and reasonably priced. The rooms are very clean, housekeeping service daily. My room includes a washer/dryer, fridge, stove and microwave. The staff have gone above and beyond and I KNOW because I work in the hospitality industry. Big thanks to Juliet at the Front Desk. My room attendant Sicily, she's the best!!!!! Room supervisor Cindy. I have extended my stay an extra week because everyone has been so AWESOME!!!!! I have a 15 night stay in China so I booked a week at this property to have a feel of the place before committing to 15 nights, yes I am WOWED!! They have all won me over!! There's a server at breakfast that's absolutely outstanding, I will get her name on my next review. Thanks to all the staff for all the hard work you do!!! Continue to shine!!!!

The front desk was very friendly and the cleaning was OK. The curtains were good and blocked out the light. There were quite a lot of Japanese guests and the breakfast on the second floor was also Japanese style. However, the power supply of the bidet in the bathroom was the same circuit system as the indoor lights, so if the lights were not on, the toilet could not be turned on, which was a bit weird. Then the TV was all Internet TV, no satellite TV, so when you couldn't watch it, you had to press the button on the previous layer and log in again.

Holiday Inn Putuo is located on the bank of Suzhou River in the Putuo District of Shanghai. It is just 5-minute walk from Ĺongde Metro Station Line 11 and 10 10-minute walk from Caoyang Road Metro Station. The location is ideal if you want to use the Metro for sightseeing. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Good this is that it has only 7 floors. Suzhou River provides an ideal path for a night stroll.
