Hotels in Hongqiao Airport/National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai

Great location, very near to NECC venue, accessible by underpass at level B2 that brings us straight to the exhibition center. Also near a few shopping malls with lots of food choices. Room is clean and spacious. Bed comes with remote control that can raise different parts of the bed for a comfortable position. Hotel is very new, hope it will continue to maintain this standard.

A few things to say. This was my second stay this hotel, and this time I am glad I haven’t had my family with me. 1. COLD ROOM The room was so cold, even though I tried to adjust the temperature with the A/C it felt like the big glass closed window isn’t properly sealed and cold air from outside was entering the room. 2. LANGUAGE PROBLEMS. I know I am china, but if you work in hotel, special hotel chains and have a regular number of international guests, you should be able to speak a certain english level. I had issue during my check in, and questions that they couldn’t answer me, and also gave me wrong information. 3. BREAKFAST, ok, but could be better!

Kaiyuan Mingting Hotel left a deep impression on me! I went to Shanghai on the high-speed rail. Although it was about 23:00 in the middle of the night in Shanghai, the hotel still arranged a special car transfer. As soon as I entered the hotel, I was attracted by the luxurious decoration of the lobby. It was spacious and bright and very stylish. The check-in speed was very fast, the front desk staff was kind and introduced the hotel's facilities and services in detail. The room was very spacious, the sanitation was spotless, and the various items were neatly arranged. The bathroom was clean and odorless, and the shower water temperature and water pressure were suitable. Especially the hotel breakfast is very rich, there are a variety of Chinese and Western cuisine, the taste is very good, the hotel's services and facilities have reached a high standard, highly recommended to everyone, the experience is very good, next time you come to this city will choose to stay at this hotel.

Simply put, the hotel is nice but the photo of the building shown is deceptive. The hotel is “underground”, looking into a ground floor courtyard. I arrived and was told my room is in B2. I had a window covered with a film looking to an indoor room. No natural light and no fresh air. Was it written in small print? Yes. Do I check if a room has a window or not when I book for this price in Shanghai and the main photo of the hotel shows a glass building? I do not. The room was nice, but the price is too high for a room without window. It’s also a maze inside- the room was so so far from the elevator I had to spend 5min staring at a floorplan to find my way. So in the most likely event you’re here for a business meeting you need to check the weather on your phone to decide what to wear. Its a nice room and hotel, but I would not come back.

Overall it was ok. Staff worked there were nice and friendly. The bed was great. One thing I did not like was the cigarette smell was everywhere and guests smoked in their rooms and hallways even the nonsmoking signs were all over the place. The location was great and walking distance to panlong plaza with bunch of restaurants and shopping shops there. About 1.5 kilometers walk to nearest subway station.

I stayed at the hotel while visiting an exhibition in Shanghai. The location of the hotel is very convenient, not far from the subway, the train station and the exhibition complex. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was very polite and helped me with all my questions. Beautiful hotel decoration

The room is relatively small. The main feature is a smart control. The hotel is relatively new. The distance displayed on the platform is seriously inconsistent. I took a Didi from Hongqiao Station to the hotel. The fare was 37.9 yuan. The distance displayed was 1.5 kilometers. The Didi I took to Hongqiao Railway Station this morning was also 28. The round trip Didi fare to stay in the hotel was 66. I really don’t know how the 1.5 kilometers was determined. Maybe it’s the straight-line distance in the air...

Yolanda, the lady at the reception, made us very happy with her smiling face and attention. She is a perfect staff, I have never met such a caring person who loves her job in any hotel before. Thank you again, I will choose this hotel again on my next trip to China, I recommend it.

The hotel is just amazing. Located not far from hongqiao airport and railstation. Very convenient with a lot of restaurant and shop nearby. The staff is also very polite and helpful, especially Sally who checked me in and out, she was lovely, enthusiastic and competent. Will book again for my next stay in ShangHai Room 715
