Hotels in Hongqiao Airport/National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai

The location is exceptionally convenient. It's not only very close to the subway station, with Line 13 offering direct access to the city center, but also incredibly easy to reach Hongqiao Airport in just 15 minutes – truly ideal for my transit stay. I particularly appreciated the chilled fruit drinks offered at the water bar during the hot weather, a thoughtful touch for someone who loves to stay hydrated. The surroundings are also lovely; the view from my window, featuring a stream and houses, evoked fond childhood memories. Moreover, the hotel facilities are impeccably maintained. I'd definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

I was very happy to stay at Cintadines Hongqiao. Staffs are very well trained and polite. The location is great and many Korean food nearby. There is Aldi supermarket opposite the hotel and also a lot of coffee shops. If I have a chance to come back to Shanghai then I'll definitely come back to this hotel.

My experience at Atour far exceeded my expectations! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the staff's smiles were warm and genuine, like a gentle autumn breeze. They proactively helped with my luggage during check-in, thoughtfully brought local tea bags to my room after I'd settled in, and even remembered my preference for warm water when I returned late. These subtle details revealed their genuine attentiveness. The cleanliness of the room was a pleasant surprise: the tabletops and mirrors were spotless, and even the corners under the bed were perfectly clean. The bathrobes felt crisp and had a sun-kissed freshness, completely putting my mind at ease about hotel hygiene. The facilities are thoughtfully designed for travelers' needs: the desk was at the perfect height for working, there were USB ports by the bed, and the soundproofing was excellent – no outside noise could penetrate. What I loved most were their tea sets and the reading nook. Brewing a cup of tea and enjoying a book there, all my travel fatigue instantly melted away. An Atour like this truly deserves to be my first choice for all future travels.

Five stars for this stay! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The room was spotless, and breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Fantastic value for money; overall, it was a truly satisfying experience. I'll definitely be back!

I used to think hotels were just places to lay your head, until I discovered this one. The lobby was so bright it looked as if sunshine had spilled everywhere, and even the corners felt sparkling clean. When Li Li at the front desk handed me water with a smile and said, 'We've upgraded you to a larger room,' I instantly felt completely taken care of. The room itself was spotlessly clean, and the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom made getting ready a truly comfortable experience. And the hotel's body wash smelled absolutely wonderful! Not to mention the laundry room and gym, which helped smooth out all the little inconveniences of travel. This wasn't just a hotel stay; it felt like finding a temporary home away from home!

The hotel is located very conveniently about 3.5 KM away from the Hong qiao train station and hong qiao airport common entrance! And they have free shuttle to and from the airport gate which needs to be arranged before arrival and for checkout should be arranged on the night before going to the airport. Staff are young kind and happy to help bas long as you are speaking clearly in English to them and make meaningful conversations, they are very well trained and act professionaly! I arrived in late morning and it was the time of checkout for many of customer was really tired as I had not slept good night before ( was on the way)! But the staff despite being busy with checkouts and shuttle drivers kindly served me quickly and sorted a quiet room for me to rest ! Breakfast here is simple, essentials and enough in my view and it's definitely worth it to book the room with breakfast! And on the other hand it's really close to a massive mall and shopping centre surrounding two walking streets about 3 KM away. I went to the mall and had a very good Shanghai specialty food there and cycled back in the night and walked back!

Really nice, clean and modern hotel close to the railway station. There’s a very nice pedestrian food street 5 minutes walk from the hotel. You get a really good value for money. Walking to the station is possible but not recommended with luggage. Loved the lobby set up as co-working space and the room was super bright. Rooms are different so if you happen to have a room you don’t like, chances are, they can change it for you! (I did that: my original room was not very nice and as the ayi was cleaning other rooms. I took a self tour and choose my room which I absolutely loved) The shower was soo good and the bed too! Would definitely recommend

The room is very hygienic, the sound insulation effect is also good, and the facilities are very complete. It is suitable for couples traveling, business people, business trips, family travel, etc. The hotel front desk is also good, and the check-in speed is fast. It is not bad for any hotel under the Huazhu Club

I carefully selected this hotel, and it immediately felt like a great match, giving me a strong sense of familiarity! Upon arrival, it certainly didn't disappoint. While the facilities are a bit dated, typical of an established property, the cleanliness, ambiance, and service were all excellent. The location is also incredibly convenient, making it a breeze to get to both the airport and tourist attractions. However, due to its proximity to the airport, takeout food options are somewhat limited. Nevertheless, there are snack bars and convenience stores nearby that cover all the basic necessities. The hotel's breakfast buffet was also absolutely fantastic! My only minor quibble is the absence of a portable drying rack (which hotels of this star rating usually provide), as I prefer not to use communal dryers.

Overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay. Upon check-in for my birthday, they thoughtfully provided a small cake, which was a nice touch. However, I wasn't able to receive a room upgrade. Interestingly, I found the Executive Deluxe Room to be preferable to the Executive Grand Room. A standout feature was the bathroom design: the toilet, vanity, bathtub, and shower are all in separate areas. There's even a small hand basin within the toilet cubicle, which is incredibly convenient as it allows the toilet and showering/bathing facilities to be used independently. This segmented design, where the toilet is in its own private cubicle, is similar to the twin rooms at Hyatt Regency Shanghai Global Harbor and Hyatt Regency Songjiang. The service at the Club InterContinental Lounge on the 10th floor was exceptionally attentive. Furthermore, the gym and swimming pool on the 5th floor are complimentary for all hotel guests.
