Hotels in Hongqiao Airport/National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai

I’m extremely satisfied with this hotel. Everything from the service to the facilities exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay.

This hotel's location is good for family journey. There are subway station and many of the shopping mall, convenien store and restaurants. I willing to recommend this hotel to them who visit Shanghai with family.

The location is exceptionally convenient. It's not only very close to the subway station, with Line 13 offering direct access to the city center, but also incredibly easy to reach Hongqiao Airport in just 15 minutes – truly ideal for my transit stay. I particularly appreciated the chilled fruit drinks offered at the water bar during the hot weather, a thoughtful touch for someone who loves to stay hydrated. The surroundings are also lovely; the view from my window, featuring a stream and houses, evoked fond childhood memories. Moreover, the hotel facilities are impeccably maintained. I'd definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

My elderly family members brought the children to Shanghai, and they genuinely felt so welcomed and at home. The initially planned four-day trip was extended by another four days due to the convenient and comfortable accommodation. Although the room facilities were a bit dated, they were impeccably maintained and spotlessly clean. Before checking out, we dined at the Chinese restaurant, and the dishes were delicious, authentically flavored, and the service was very attentive. The surrounding transportation is incredibly convenient, especially with Metro Line 10. However, the airport shuttle service had quite restrictive timings: drop-offs were only in the morning, and pick-ups only before 6 PM. This was the only minor drawback. Nevertheless, choosing Hua Gang Ya Ge truly enhanced our family's trip to Shanghai, and we would definitely consider staying here again for future travels.

The hotel is conveniently located very close to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and train station, easily accessible just off the elevated highway. The environment is excellent. They provide a laundry room with complimentary laundry pods, and the washing machines even have a drying function. Breakfast is quite substantial. It's a very convenient place to stay if you're attending an event or banquet. The front desk staff are incredibly warm and welcoming ❤️.

The room is very hygienic, the sound insulation effect is also good, and the facilities are very complete. It is suitable for couples traveling, business people, business trips, family travel, etc. The hotel front desk is also good, and the check-in speed is fast. It is not bad for any hotel under the Huazhu Club

Good location and decent room for the price but sometimes staffs are asking odd questions and they don’t speak english at all which can be difficult.

I used to think hotels were just places to lay your head, until I discovered this one. The lobby was so bright it looked as if sunshine had spilled everywhere, and even the corners felt sparkling clean. When Li Li at the front desk handed me water with a smile and said, 'We've upgraded you to a larger room,' I instantly felt completely taken care of. The room itself was spotlessly clean, and the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom made getting ready a truly comfortable experience. And the hotel's body wash smelled absolutely wonderful! Not to mention the laundry room and gym, which helped smooth out all the little inconveniences of travel. This wasn't just a hotel stay; it felt like finding a temporary home away from home!

They provided a free room upgrade, which was incredibly thoughtful – much appreciated! The room was spotless, and they even have food delivery robots. The lobby features plenty of charging outlets and a stylish, bar-like design, perfect for younger guests. My only minor gripe was the room's layout: the bathroom was upstairs while the bath towels were kept on the first floor, which I found a bit inconvenient personally. However, when I shared this feedback with the hotel, they were very friendly and understanding. The complimentary laundry and drying facilities were a major bonus!

Overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay. Upon check-in for my birthday, they thoughtfully provided a small cake, which was a nice touch. However, I wasn't able to receive a room upgrade. Interestingly, I found the Executive Deluxe Room to be preferable to the Executive Grand Room. A standout feature was the bathroom design: the toilet, vanity, bathtub, and shower are all in separate areas. There's even a small hand basin within the toilet cubicle, which is incredibly convenient as it allows the toilet and showering/bathing facilities to be used independently. This segmented design, where the toilet is in its own private cubicle, is similar to the twin rooms at Hyatt Regency Shanghai Global Harbor and Hyatt Regency Songjiang. The service at the Club InterContinental Lounge on the 10th floor was exceptionally attentive. Furthermore, the gym and swimming pool on the 5th floor are complimentary for all hotel guests.
