The location is very lively, right next to a shopping mall, and parking is super convenient with an underground garage! The room was spacious. Both the front desk staff and the cleaning aunties were very friendly and deserve a big thumbs up. My only minor complaint is that when I checked in during the May Day holiday, the room cleanup was a bit slow!

I always stay here when I'm on a business trip. It's very close to the subway station and also conveniently located near Shanghai Hongqiao Station. There are plenty of dining options right downstairs, which is great. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here!

I want to express my special thanks to Ms. Amandawang at the front desk for her truly wonderful service during my stay. This was my first time staying here, and she patiently explained all the hotel facilities, including the gym and pool, during check-in. The overall hotel environment is excellent, and it's very close to Hongqiao Airport and the high-speed rail station. The room hygiene was very comforting; this old brand hotel certainly does a great job in that regard. I've already recommended it to my friends. Whenever I'm in SOHO for a business trip, I always choose Mercure. The room facilities are well-maintained, making it easy to work, and the internet speed is fast. The bedding is comfortable, and it's close to my business location. The service is very responsive, and the breakfast is high quality. This is definitely my go-to hotel for long stays.

The environment was clean and ideal for moving about to different places. There are a few restaurants strung along the stretch making the location particularly convenient also. The greetings of the staff were fairly good and the service was also decent. The staff could have been a little more proactive towards our needs but, nonetheless a decent experience, especially as an international.

Hyatt Place Shanghai Tianshan Plaza enjoys a very strategic and convenient location, making it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel is situated less than a 10-minute walk from the nearest train station, which makes getting around the city extremely easy. In addition, there is a large shopping mall directly opposite the hotel, offering plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. With these amenities so close by, the hotel is within easy reach of almost everything a business traveler might need during their stay. During my visit, my spouse and son accompanied me, and the room setup worked out very well for our small family. The sofa bed provided in the room made it comfortable enough to accommodate three people without feeling cramped. The room itself was spacious, well-organized, and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, which made our stay even more pleasant. Another highlight of the hotel is the excellent service from the staff. The housekeeping team was consistently friendly and attentive, ensuring the room was well maintained each day. The reception staff were also polite, welcoming, and professional, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. Overall, the combination of a great location, comfortable rooms, and attentive service made our stay at Hyatt Place Shanghai Tianshan Plaza a very enjoyable experience.

The location is excellent, about a 30-minute drive to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. Speaking of Hongqiao, this area caters to Japanese residents, with many long-term expats and business travelers. My impression was that a good number of guests at this hotel were Japanese. I'm not sure about dinner, but breakfast is served on the 1st floor and the 33rd floor (business floor?), and the taste is quite mild. Overall, the hotel is clean, but the facilities are showing their age. The bathroom floor would accumulate water, which was a real headache. However, when I reported it to the front desk, they fixed it immediately, so that was good!

Had a great experience! The room was clean, and the front desk service was excellent. They proactively explained how to use the water heater. The room deposit was 300, but it was refunded instantly upon checkout. This really changed my perception of Shanghainese people!

Booked this last minute after a few drinks, but it was really easy to find. The surrounding area is super convenient with plenty of food and drink options. Woke up this morning and realized the room was huge and uniquely decorated. When I went to the front desk to return the key card, the guy told me it was an electricity card – still a bit tipsy, apparently! He even gave me a bottle of warm water, which was a lovely touch! 👍
