Hotels in Hongqiao District, Shanghai

The environment is absolutely beautiful, with an open-air garden on the first floor where you can order food and enjoy the breeze in the evening. The facilities are comprehensive, with a restaurant, pool, gym, and executive lounge all available. I've stayed here many times, and hygiene has never been an issue. The bedding is also excellent. For service, Kiki at the front desk helped me arrange the room I needed, and her service was fantastic.

The environment was clean and ideal for moving about to different places. There are a few restaurants strung along the stretch making the location particularly convenient also. The greetings of the staff were fairly good and the service was also decent. The staff could have been a little more proactive towards our needs but, nonetheless a decent experience, especially as an international.

Booking it for convenience but ended up struggling to look for it in the airport itself. Hotel was located in a far corner which no signage to guide to the hotel. If is your first time in Hongqiao Airport, best to book the more obvious Shangri-la or traders hotel. However, if you can find your way to the weird location then is a nice hotel to go to for next morning transit although still quite walk from the check in counters.

A super healing pet-friendly hotel, my stay was absolutely perfect! This time I traveled with my Westie and chose this pet-friendly hotel, and the experience was truly amazing! The hotel environment is simple yet luxurious, with a well-designed and spacious room layout. The light-colored decor paired with soft lighting makes it warm and cozy. The wooden floors are clean and tidy, perfect for furry friends to run around freely. The most delightful surprise was how pet-friendly the hotel is. Not only are there no restrictions on pets, but they also show thoughtfulness everywhere. The pet pillows on the sofa are cute and fitting, showing great attention to detail. The bedding in the room is soft and skin-friendly, making it incredibly relaxing to lie on. The sofa area is spacious and comfortable, perfect for spending leisure time with your furry friend. The staff were enthusiastic, attentive, and gentle. There was no inconvenience whatsoever because of our pet, which made us feel very comfortable. Overall, the stay was excellent. The environment is quiet, not noisy, and the facilities are complete and clean. Both the comfort of the accommodation and the pet-friendliness are impeccable. It’s an excellent choice for traveling with pets, and I will definitely stay here again next time!

Finding a hotel this time around took ages, and a lot of the reviews I saw weren't great, including other Huazhu hotels. Even though this place had decent reviews and a friend recommended it, I was still a bit nervous before checking in. **Environment:** The hotel entrance felt a little cramped, but once inside, it instantly felt comfortable. The light, minimalist style is exactly what I like. The room layout was also very pleasant; the lighting and space were both great. **Facilities:** The room had a coffee machine ☕ which was very convenient, and a fridge (with soft drinks inside). The lobby also had water brewed by the hotel itself. **Hygiene:** Very clean! This was my biggest concern, and I gave it a thorough look-over as soon as I entered. **Service:** I was genuinely impressed with the service this time. Staff members would actively approach and ask if I needed anything if we made eye contact, always with a smile. The cleaning lady even politely greeted me with a 'Good morning' as I left my room and asked, 'May I clean the room now?' Just a minor point: the front desk staff said the room they arranged had a better view (facing the golf course), but all I saw was a messy rooftop 🤣. However, it was quiet, which was a plus and didn't affect my overall satisfaction. **Food:** The breakfast selection was quite comprehensive, covering Chinese and Western styles, coarse grains, fine noodles, and fruits. If you're not looking for steak for breakfast, it's perfectly adequate for a regular meal (didn't get a full photo, but there's also a coffee machine and toaster 🍞).

The hotel's location is fantastic, with excellent amenities nearby. It's super convenient to get to all the major attractions thanks to Metro Lines 2, 10, and 15 just around the corner. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly during check-in, and the concierge was very helpful with my luggage. I highly recommend the breakfast at the hotel's second-floor restaurant – it was delicious! The room itself was bright, spacious, and well-lit, with a large, comfortable bed. They even had a washing machine and an induction hob, which was a huge plus. My stay was absolutely wonderful!

The room's location was a bit awkward, but the layout was well-designed. It was quiet and not noisy, and the toiletries were complete and good quality. Housekeeping was prompt in taking care of things. Overall, it offered great value for money. The location was excellent, with convenient transportation. The room was clean and odor-free. The service was top-notch for check-in, making for a perfect experience. The staff were all very friendly.

Booked a suite for two nights again this time. Front desk manager Xu upgraded us to a newly renovated Swiss suite. It's a spacious and comfortable one-bedroom apartment with a living room, and a fully equipped kitchen including a fridge, washing machine, and microwave. From the window, Nan Fung City, Shum Kai Centre, and Gubei International Plaza are all within easy reach. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, and transportation is very convenient. The executive lounge on the 30th floor was staffed by Wally, a friendly young man from Shanghai who provided excellent service. On a side note, I actually prefer rooms on lower floors. This is an old-school five-star hotel with a grand ambiance. While the decor is a bit vintage, all the room facilities are complete. It's a different kind of experience, but all in all, it was a good fit and great value for money.

The Hyatt Place Shanghai Tianshan Plaza is amazing! The location is superb, right next to Metro Lines 2 and 15, and directly connected to Tianshan Plaza, making travel and shopping super convenient. The room was spacious, clean, and well soundproofed, with comfortable bedding. The Dyson hairdryer was a great bonus. The front desk staff were professional and efficient, offering attentive service. The breakfast had a great selection of both Chinese and Western options, with a fantastic made-to-order noodle bar and local Shanghainese dim sum. The heated swimming pool and 24-hour gym are incredibly practical. Overall, it's excellent value for money and highly recommended!
