My stay here far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. It boasts a great terrace with views of the subway and a park, making getting around incredibly convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The front desk staff were efficient and professional during check-in; I got my room card very quickly. There's even a piano in the lobby! The room was spacious with efficient air conditioning and a private bathroom. It was clean and tidy, and the mattress was comfortably soft. If you forget any toiletries, the front desk provides a full range of complimentary items. The security guard was exceptionally kind to guests, helping us open doors and carry luggage. Overall, the atmosphere felt warm and comfortable. What's more, there's a free gym, a home theater room, and a huge communal kitchen. I even saw someone with a pet, so it's pet-friendly too! To stay in such an apartment in Shanghai for just over 100 RMB is incredible value for money. I genuinely recommend this hotel!

This was my second stay here, primarily because I felt it offered a slightly better value for money compared to other hotels in the area. However, I still want to give an objective review of its pros and cons. **Pros:** 1. **Excellent Location:** It's very close to the subway station and Raffles City North Bund. This time, I got a room directly facing Dongdaming Road, which was quite spacious, well-lit, and offered a great street view. 2. **Convenient Wi-Fi:** The Wi-Fi connection was easy, though I had to reconnect every time I entered the room. Forgetting to do so could be a bit of a hassle. 3. **USB Ports:** Despite other facilities being decades out of date, it did have USB ports. **Cons:** 1. **Outdated Amenities:** The musty smell in the corridors is probably hard to change given the age of the building, but other things could be updated. They still use small bar soaps for handwashing and tiny bottles for toiletries. It feels wasteful if you don't take them, but they're a nuisance to carry if you do, not to mention environmentally unfriendly. Also, the shower caddy in the shower stall wasn't very stable. 2. **Confusing Shower Faucet:** The shower faucet was perplexing. You'd typically assume red and blue indicators mean hot and cold water, but here, blue was for water volume and red for temperature. I suggest adding clear labels. 3. **Misplaced Anti-Slip Mat:** For some reason, the anti-slip mat was hung on the towel rack above the bathtub, which looked terrible. Couldn't it be rolled up and placed by the tub or in the shower enclosure? It almost felt like they didn't want guests to hang towels there. 4. **Disappointing Service:** I had to call housekeeping because I couldn't figure out the hot and cold water. I waited for nearly half an hour, and no one came, so I had to give up as I needed to leave. When I called again later, someone came quickly. The next day, I pressed the ”Do Not Disturb” light as I didn't need cleaning, but I still received a call confirming if I truly didn't need service, which felt unnecessary.

Great place to stay at! Nice stuff, clean room and shower (which is really important). Breakfast served in the morning is really varied: from Chinese traditional to European classic. Location is very convenient - near the city center and major sightseeing, but quiet and peaceful. Easy to get to/from airport or railway stations. Definitely will stay here again!

This InterContinental hotel is in a great location, clean, and the service is excellent. The subway is just a few minutes' walk away, and Jiangpu Park is right next to the hotel, perfect for kids. There's also a parking lot, which is convenient for those driving. The breakfast is decent, offering both Western and Chinese options to start your day right. I'll definitely choose this Holiday Inn Express again on my next visit.

I had to book a room last minute and stumbled upon this hidden gem along the Bund! Double rooms were scarce, so I lucked out. Public Areas & Lobby: The overall design embraces a sophisticated grey-black wabi-sabi aesthetic. Water features, fresh greenery, and a subtle fragrance create a neat and elegant lounge area defined by clean lines. The service quality is a huge plus; all staff members were friendly and polite, actively smiling and greeting you when you passed by. The attention to detail really made a great impression. Room Experience: The first thing that caught my eye upon entering was the glass bottle with a hydroponic Monstera plant – its lush roots and vibrant green leaves instantly soothed the summer heat. The room was spacious and tidy, with a well-designed bathroom featuring separate wet and dry areas. The vanity included disposable cotton towels, and all amenities were thoughtfully provided. The room also came with pour-over coffee, canned black tea, and the entire minibar was complimentary. The staff even prepared a custom scent and delivered it to the room in advance. The dual pillow setup catered to different preferences, with a firm neck support pillow offering excellent support and a soft pillow providing a cozy embrace, ensuring a very comfortable sleep experience. Dining | Afternoon Tea & Breakfast: The afternoon tea selection wasn't overly extensive, but every dessert, sandwich, mini-burger, and herbal jelly tasted carefully handmade. A full range of coffee and tea options were available. Breakfast completely exceeded my expectations! Asparagus with lily bulbs, celery with shrimp, short ribs, salmon, and freshly ground tofu pudding were all on offer. I was particularly impressed by the freshly cooked yellow croaker noodles. The broth had no artificial strong flavors; it was simply the pure, sweet freshness of a homemade slow-cooked fish soup, which I completely drank. Even the noodle station auntie had a gentle and pleasant demeanor. Location & Perks: Located in the heart of the North Bund, it’s within walking distance to Suzhou Creek and the Bund waterfront, making it perfect for city strolls. With the AI exhibition causing price surges on Friday, the room rate was just over 2,000 RMB. During the off-peak season, it's less than 2,000 RMB, which is excellent value for money given the prime location. The front desk also provided complimentary entry tickets to the adjacent bar, which could be exchanged for two specialty cocktails after 9:30 PM. You could even enjoy live music later in the evening – a thoughtful little bonus that was much appreciated.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Exit 1 of Pingliang Road subway station, making it super convenient to get around. It's only about a 20-minute taxi ride from Shanghai Railway Station, and getting to attractions like the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and IFC is also very easy. The hotel, opened in 2025, has brand-new facilities, and the staff, mostly young and handsome guys and pretty girls, are all super helpful. The breakfast selection is quite varied, especially the noodle soup with the chef's special minced meat topping – it's so delicious, I had two bowls every morning!

This stay was absolutely fantastic, a full five stars! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive; check-in was efficient and thoughtful. They even surprised me with a free room upgrade, which was a delightful bonus. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, with a great selection of both meat and vegetarian options, and everything tasted delicious. Throughout my stay, all the staff were friendly and always ready to help, showing great attention to detail. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall, it offered excellent value for money. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time!

I chose this hotel because I enjoy running along the Bund promenade in North Bund. The transportation is super convenient; it's about a 500-meter walk from Metro Line 12. Raffles City and Magnolia Plaza are also nearby. The streets outside the hotel are very quiet as well. The hygiene is good, the lobby is clean, and they even provide drinks, coffee, and snacks.

I didn't take many pictures, but the breakfast selection was surprisingly abundant and impressive. When checking out, the front desk even gave me a thoughtful eye mask and earplugs, which I can use to relax on my flight home. They really pay attention to details and put a lot of thought into their service. There's also a clean and convenient laundry room on the first floor. The TV in the room was huge, maybe 90 inches, and it had screen casting capabilities, which was incredibly cool! 😎

My stay here was excellent! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, making the check-in process quick and smooth. They were also very responsive to any requests I had. My room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was fantastic – it was very quiet at night. The bathroom had stable water pressure and all the facilities were new and well-maintained. The hotel's location is super convenient, with plenty of dining options nearby and easy access to transportation. It offers great value for money. Overall, it was clean, comfortable, and the thoughtful details really made a difference. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip and highly recommend it to everyone.

Let me start by saying that for nearly 400 RMB, this hotel doesn't offer as good value for money as the Hodoor Hotel nearby on Ningguo Road. However, if it were around 200 RMB, it would be a good option. Firstly, the room is small. Secondly, the blackout curtains are terrible. Lastly, you can hear doors closing in neighboring rooms very clearly. On the upside, the toilet paper quality is decent, it has a smart toilet, and the decor is a bit better than other hotels in the 200-RMB range. So, it really depends on the price you pay. Picture one shows how bright it was in the morning, which led to a poor night's sleep. Picture two is of the room itself.

Stay here for a concert at Modern Sky Lab where I can walk there only 2 crossroad. Location is very convenient and close to Metro (7-8 min walk) Surround by restaurant / cafe The room is cozy but well equipped for what I want during stay Cleanliness is so so, bedsheet and towel is clean but there’re some dust on the curtain and wall I would rate this 8/10 for the convenience. Owner and staff are very friendly and helpful I arrived at 9.30AM and she helped me to checked in when room is available. Thank you. I’ll comeback next time

The hotel has an elevator, there are subway buses nearby, and it is very convenient to travel. The room was very clean and the TV was very good. I would not put the TV on the front desk sister to help open the TV. It felt like home and the front desk service was great.
