Hotels in Pudong Zhangjiang District, Shanghai

Location is a bit remote if you are planning to stay there for vacation, but there is a train station right Infront only the hotel that makes it convenient. Staff is nice and helpful. Rooms are big and comfortable enough. I stayed for 1 night for a nearby meeting so it was good for that purpose. Longer term though, may be a bit ”bare bones”

I just check again the profile of this hotel and they haven’t made any update. When I arrived the hotel, I was informed that the swimming pool is not available due to maintenance. I paid extra money because of that specific amenity. It would be great that hotels would update their profile and available or provide any heads up so that the guests would know what they are paying for. The hotel is expensive and I booked it hoping that I will get to enjoy their amenities. It is okay to have such problem as long as they would post it in their profile for transparency.

Coming to Shanghai, I was genuinely surprised to find such a great hotel at this price point. The service was excellent, and it was spotless. Getting taxis to tourist attractions was incredibly convenient. Breakfast was included, and overall, everything was fantastic. All the staff, especially the front desk team, were wonderful. This hotel offers amazing value for money!

The staff at the front desk were warm and professional, the check-in procedure was efficient and smooth, and the hotel's services were carefully introduced. The room was impeccable, warm and comfortable, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and it was like being wrapped in clouds and sleeping well. The bathroom is clean and tidy, the toiletries are of high quality, and the details are full of care.

What a fantastic stay! Even before I arrived, the receptionist I spoke with on the phone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, check-in was quick and seamless, and they thoughtfully provided information about local amenities. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with soft, comfortable bedding that ensured a wonderful night's sleep. There was plenty of hot water with a consistent temperature, and the complimentary toiletries were also of good quality. A nice touch was the pool table in the lobby for guests to enjoy.

Although there are many hotels around, Yitel Hotel has a high cost performance. Although the business king room is not big, it has complete facilities. It is also very clean. There is a rope for hanging clothes in the bathroom. The service staff is also very good. I couldn't close the window at night. After calling the front desk staff, they came up and closed it for me immediately. It is an ideal hotel for business people on short-term business trips.

The hotel is surrounded by a mature commercial area that meets the needs of supermarkets and gourmet food, which is great. The hotel is generally clean and has a microwave and refrigerator for cooking. There are many choices. I hope that disposable tableware can be provided, which is better.

The room has a good view. The quality of the big brand is stable. The bathroom is clean and the bed is moderately soft and hard. I chose this place on the second day of my business trip. I will come again next time. It is located between the two airports in Shanghai and is flexible to walk left or right.

Overall, the hotel is great – very spacious with a practical layout and excellent service. They even arranged an early check-in for my room and upgraded me to a massive 2.4-meter king bed. However, it was made up of two 1.2-meter beds pushed together, which unfortunately made the middle rather uncomfortable. The shower fixture was leaking a bit, and the drainage was quite slow. I've already reported these issues. At check-in, I bought a breakfast voucher for three people for 99 CNY via the Huazhu app, and the spread was very generous.
