Hotels in Pudong Zhangjiang District, Shanghai

Location is a bit remote if you are planning to stay there for vacation, but there is a train station right Infront only the hotel that makes it convenient. Staff is nice and helpful. Rooms are big and comfortable enough. I stayed for 1 night for a nearby meeting so it was good for that purpose. Longer term though, may be a bit ”bare bones”

What a fantastic stay! Even before I arrived, the receptionist I spoke with on the phone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, check-in was quick and seamless, and they thoughtfully provided information about local amenities. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with soft, comfortable bedding that ensured a wonderful night's sleep. There was plenty of hot water with a consistent temperature, and the complimentary toiletries were also of good quality. A nice touch was the pool table in the lobby for guests to enjoy.

I just check again the profile of this hotel and they haven’t made any update. When I arrived the hotel, I was informed that the swimming pool is not available due to maintenance. I paid extra money because of that specific amenity. It would be great that hotels would update their profile and available or provide any heads up so that the guests would know what they are paying for. The hotel is expensive and I booked it hoping that I will get to enjoy their amenities. It is okay to have such problem as long as they would post it in their profile for transparency.

My stay at the Intercity Hotel was absolutely fantastic! I have to give it a thumbs-up! From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, the front desk staff warmly greeted me. Check-in was quick and efficient, and they patiently answered all my questions. Their professional and attentive service instantly made me feel at home. The breakfast was also fantastic, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, including hot and cold dishes, bread, fruit, and drinks. It was delicious and perfect for a restful day. The hotel's location is fantastic, with convenient transportation options, whether taxi or public transportation, making it easy to reach anywhere in the city. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip!

The service was impressive, and the buffet breakfast was quite good. I particularly appreciated the variety available, especially since I enjoy Chinese cuisine. The location is perfect for my schedule. However, there seems to be a KTV somewhere or a bar nearby,, and it was quite noisy during our stay on the weekends. It was either some people singing or chatting. I'm not sure if it is the same during weekdays.

The location is OK, there is a clear sign at the entrance on the first floor, the decoration style is not luxurious, but unique, the sanitary conditions are good, the air conditioning effect is quite good, the windows are large, there is a table, and the bathroom is a bit small

The front desk staff was very nice and the service was excellent. They were helpful and attentive. Anything I needed was delivered promptly and the service was warm and thoughtful. The hotel also had ample supplies, and room delivery was prompt. The bedding was all from Atour, which was very comfortable. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The room smelled fresh and pleasant. The front desk even proactively upgraded my room. The service was very professional and thorough, and they even folded it up and delivered it to my room. The shower worked great, the water flowed quickly, and the cleanliness was excellent. The environment was also nice, and the lobby was fragrant.

Although there are many hotels around, Yitel Hotel has a high cost performance. Although the business king room is not big, it has complete facilities. It is also very clean. There is a rope for hanging clothes in the bathroom. The service staff is also very good. I couldn't close the window at night. After calling the front desk staff, they came up and closed it for me immediately. It is an ideal hotel for business people on short-term business trips.

Of the many hotels we visited around the world, Mercure Shanghai stands out as one of the finest. The corridors leading to the rooms are furnished with soft, dense carpeting, eliminating noise from footsteps both inside and outside the room. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet. We were particularly impressed by the automated curtain and lighting systems, and especially loved the advanced smart toilet system (BEST and cleanest toilet in Shanghai). This hotel is also one of the few in the world that we have visited that provide hair conditioner in addition to shampoo and shower gel. The housekeeping team ensured we remained hydrated throughout our stay by generously replenishing 2L of drinking water daily! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Mercure Shanghai and commend the thoughtful, extra efforts made to enhance guest comfort. The duty manager and front desk staffs (particularly the morning shift on September 20, 2025) were also exceptionally courteous and receptive to our feedbacks. We will certainly choose to stay here again on future visits to Shanghai!

I stayed here for just one night during a flight transit and honestly wish I had more time to enjoy everything this hotel has to offer. The property is brand new and spotless, with a sleek, modern design that feels both cozy and luxurious. The staff were incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with—everything from check-in to check-out was smooth. I asked for a late check-out and they were happy to accommodate. I even received a small free room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise! The elevator worked flawlessly, very impressive, other hotels in China I had to wait for the elevators, and the hotel has fantastic amenities: a well-equipped gym, relaxing spa, beautiful pool, and even a rooftop garden with amazing views. It really felt like a hidden gem. I’ll definitely be back for a longer stay next time!
