Hotels in North Sichuan Road Commercial Area, Shanghai

The hotel is clean and modern. It is situated 5 mins walk to sanmen subway station (line no 10) so traveling to WUJIANGCHANG - the commercial hub is only 2 stops travelling. The hotel provide good brunch from 7am- 12noon to suit different timing of customers. This is a plus point for most guests. Further, it also provide FREE supper from 10-11pm for people who need it. There is also a laundry room for use. So, as first time customer, I am totally impressed with the service and standard!

非常差的住宿體驗 酒店房間還可以，空調系統較差，進房間開暖風需要較長時間才能熱。 服務態度看似很好，專業性極差，前台人員回覆問題堪稱一絕，對話如下：（早上8:45分電話至服務枱） 問：1、房間為什麼一早六點特別吵，有風機轟鳴的聲音，感覺像在機場附近。2、房間外走廊一直有關門聲，還有推車聲音，次數頻繁，很吵。 答：1、窗外是煙道，會比較吵，如果需要耳塞，現在給您送過去。2、您對面房間有住客。 實際情況：302房間外是布草間，所以才會有頻繁的開關門和推車聲。窗外的煙道是樓下餐廳煙道，所以夜裡沒有影響，一大早開始做飯才會開動排煙，轟鳴聲噪音。 酒店客房入住率也就30%多，這是入住時前台員工聊天時説的。入住的時候安排客房完全可以避開這種房間，或者提前告知房間位置的特殊情況，哪怕入住時給我個耳塞也不會讓入住體驗這麼差。服務人員培訓比較差，回答問題就是想盡辦法激化情緒，根本不會解答。要求酒店經理回覆，最終經理安排服務人員傳話，這經理是有多忙、多高貴，客人提問，酒店回覆還需要箇中間人，是級別不夠你接待是嗎？簡直莫名其妙。 早上8:45要給我送耳塞，是打算讓我睡個回籠覺到12點，然後退房？我是要多喜歡這個房間這張床，8點45接着睡覺！ 這個就是酒店服務人員的邏輯。 這家秋果避坑。

I really think this hotel is very cost-effective! The price is affordable, but the service and facilities are not ambiguous at all. The room is clean and tidy, and all the necessary facilities are available, and they are all very useful. The hotel's free parking lot is also very convenient, which is very friendly for people who drive themselves. Although the breakfast is not luxurious, the variety is enough and the taste is good. The staff are very enthusiastic and make people feel very warm. Highly recommended to everyone, like the front desk Xiaoqian [strong]

Nice place to stay when in shanghai.. it has smart toilet and inside washing machine but you need to make sure again if your room will get smart toilet. it’s also near metro station as well as shanghai train station. Rui who is the desk staff is very helpful because she arranged for my charger to be sent to Chongqing when i accidentaly left it when i checked out.

Koreans don't know much about China University Road, but this hotel has a perfect location and surrounding infrastructure. It's really better than any other hotel. The family room for 3 adults was spacious enough, and most importantly, the interior was modern and not carpeted, so it was really clean. There was an LG washing machine and dryer on the 2nd floor, so I used them well. The gym was a bit inconvenient because I had to pass the restaurant, but everything was good. The staff was friendly and they even delivered food to me. It's a bit far from the Seogahoe area, but it's near Subway Line 10 and the Waitan is a 20-minute taxi ride away. The room is exactly as pictured in the introduction, and the picture I uploaded is the view from the lobby on the 1st floor.

The room is very good, clean and new. The room is as described. There is a laundry and the room is very spacious. We can leave our bags and hang our clothes. The staff is friendly, but there will be a deposit first and it will be returned on the check-out day. If anyone is hesitant, I would like you to try to stay here and you will like it. With a reasonable price, the room is big, you can walk to the metro. Downstairs there is a convenience store and there is a delicious restaurant nearby.

The cleanliness of the room and the service provided by the hotel were very good. However, there were areas that needed improvement. I stayed at the hotel for five nights. The TV's internet service wasn’t working for all channels for three nights. Need additional payments to watch most of the TV channels Additionally, unlike most hotels in China, this hotel offers only a fixed set breakfast instead of a buffet. The breakfast cost ¥38 but the portions were relatively small and there were only three varieties to choose from. Also, do not be misled by the hotel’s advertised photos. The hotel is a three-story building with just over 40 rooms. The tall apartment complex visible behind the hotel in the photo is not part of the hotel property. The location is somewhat isolated and was not noisy at night. The nearest metro and bus stations were within a 10 or 15-minute walk.

Very new and clean hotel. Many staff can speak English very well and very informative and helpful. The room was spacious and with nice view of the canal nearby, some of the room can see the Pearl Tower from the distance. We can also walk to Hongkou Gang area which is a scenic spot of the Pearl Tower. Highly recommended this place. Only minor points are that there are not many convenient store or restaurant nearby and a bit far from the subway station. But we used Didi (Taxi) instead.

Our second stay at the Fortune Zhixuan and we loved our visit.  Hongkou is a great, unheralded area of Shanghai and you can easily explore the area on foot from the Zhixuan or take a short walk to the metro to get around all points of the city.  We love the Deluxe (Duplex) Suite at this hotel and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a spacious room that is super quiet and comfortable.  We could easily have stayed longer.  Excellent value for money and we will definitely stay again.
