Hotels in Train Station Area, Shanghai

The room was clean and tidy, and it's super close to Shanghai Railway Station, about a 300-meter walk. The takeout and drinks around the area are excellent. The hotel service was top-notch, and I loved the unique scent of the shower gel!

The rooms are really great, I think this is the most cost-effective hotel among several in the area. The only downside is that it's often hard to book a room, it's always full! Lately, whenever I stay near Shanghai Railway Station, I always choose this place! The rooms are also quite spacious, and the double-layered soundproof windows keep it really quiet!

The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk service was excellent. Our stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend it. Parking is very convenient, and getting around is easy. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and helpful. Highly recommended.

We recently completed a wonderful 5-night stay at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Shanghai. If you are an international traveler looking for an incredibly convenient base with world-class hospitality, this hotel is a fantastic choice. 📍 Prime Location The hotel is centrally located and exceptionally well-connected. It is literally just a 3-minute walk from the Shanghai Railway Station, making local commuting via the metro or catching regional bullet trains completely hassle-free. 🌟 Outstanding Service (Going Above & Beyond) The front desk staff are truly exceptional and do not hesitate to go the extra mile for their guests. Because we ran into a language barrier while trying to coordinate a campus tour with a local university, the staff stepped in without hesitation and spoke to the university on our behalf to get everything sorted. We also want to give a special recognition to Ms. Wong and her colleagues. When we had trouble navigating the local food delivery apps, they kindly used their own personal apps to order food for us and allowed us to transfer the money directly to their accounts. They were also incredibly supportive with hailing local taxis and guiding us through Shanghai's public transport options every single day. 🍳 Buffet Breakfast The hotel offers a morning buffet breakfast for a very nominal charge. It has a great, decent spread that easily caters to different palates, including: Hot options (Porridge, Noodles, and freshly cooked Eggs) Western staples (Breads, Cereals, and pastries) Fresh Fruits and Salads 💡 Area for Improvement The only real critique we have is that the hotel lacks an in-house restaurant that serves lunch and dinner options. Having an all-day dining restaurant on-site would make the stay absolutely perfect. That being said, the incredible warmth of the staff more than made up for it. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it again for our next trip to Shanghai!

Great location near the I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would happily stay here again. The location was excellent and one of the biggest reasons I’d recommend it. It was very convenient for getting around the city, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, convenience stores, and many of the main attractions. It made exploring the area incredibly easy and saved a lot of travel time. The room was clean, tidy, and well maintained throughout my stay. Everything felt fresh when I arrived, and the housekeeping team clearly takes pride in keeping the rooms in great condition. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and all the facilities worked perfectly. The staff were another highlight of my stay. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with any questions. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, and the service was consistently professional throughout my visit. One feature I really enjoyed was the delivery robot. Having food deliveries brought directly to the room by the robot was both convenient and a fun experience. It’s a great modern touch that makes the hotel stand out and adds to the overall guest experience. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money with a great location, very clean rooms, outstanding staff, and thoughtful modern features. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay here again on my next trip.

After checking into the Atour Hotel in Longjiang, Foshan, I had a terrible experience. A cleaning staff member maliciously entered my room and tried on my leather shoes, completely soaking and ruining them. Despite having the 'do not disturb' sign up, they still came in. My complaints went nowhere; it felt like a lawless place. I'm incredibly disappointed. For a business hotel, the inability to ensure guests' personal belongings are safe is appalling. Perhaps I haven't stayed in enough hotels, but this feels truly uncommon in China. However, the service at Atour hotels in Shanghai definitely restores my faith. The staff there are very respectful and friendly towards guests. While it might not be the best location or the newest hotel, it's still clean and absolutely worth it!

The hotel's location is excellent, really convenient for getting anywhere as it's close to Shanghai Railway Station. The front desk staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially Xiao Li – a big shout-out to her! The breakfast is also great, with a wide variety of options to satisfy everyone's tastes. The bed is large and comfortable, though the air conditioning is currently only blowing warm air, which makes it a bit hot. Hopefully, they'll switch to cool air soon. Oh, and the front desk staff even help dry clothes from the washing machine and bag them for guests. That's such a thoughtful and convenient service, saving guests trips back and forth to the laundry room.

First off, this 'Manfei Youth Hostel' is a complete bait-and-switch with another 'Manfei Hotel' about 100m away; it's easy to get them confused, and *this* hostel is the fake one. Secondly, the entrance looks like a dodgy internet cafe. Don't be fooled by the AI-generated photos in the hotel description; it looks absolutely nothing like that! You have to climb two flights of stairs, and if you have heavy luggage, it's an absolute nightmare – incredibly difficult to manage. The room is tiny, I mean really tiny. There's a row of beds on the right and a narrow aisle, barely a meter wide, on the left, crammed with clutter and luggage. Outside the window is an elevated highway, so you hear cars whizzing by all night long. They say it's close to the train station, but the walk there isn't easy either. You have to go over a pedestrian bridge and take several confusing turns to get to the station. If you're lugging a suitcase, you'll be exhausted. All in all, the environment doesn't justify the price. My verdict: it's trash! Facilities: Poor Hygiene: Acceptable Environment: Poor Service: Okay

The hotel was great, room was clean and quiet with a beautiful view of the 1000 trees area (picture included). Every staff member we interacted with was lovely, including the robot ! Really convenient location, a few minutes away from the main railway station by foot, almost everything is 30 minutes away ! We had a very nice stay and we wholeheartedly recommand this hotel !
