The hotel's location is super convenient, with tons of unique restaurants, bars, and cafes right next door on Wuding Road. The service is excellent, and the rooms are clean. Breakfast was fantastic, I especially loved the savory sesame flatbread – it was so crispy and delicious! 🥰

My experience at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The room was super clean and comfortable, which made my stay very pleasant. What really stood out was the staff's kindness; it truly touched me. When I was struggling to figure out how to order takeout, they patiently explained everything and even personally helped me with a drink purchase since I'm a foreigner and had difficulty with the payment. At checkout, they even gave me a hand cream as a gift, making my trip perfect right until the very end. Thanks to their warm hospitality and the immaculate room, I had a truly wonderful time. I will definitely be back!

I initially booked a 'Quiet King Room,' but it turned out to have no windows, so I upgraded to one with a window. However, the room was exceptionally small and a bit dusty. After one night, I couldn't stand it anymore and upgraded to an Executive King Room. But there was a persistent sewer smell from the drains that even pouring mineral water down couldn't cover up – both in the toilet and under the sink, the smell lingered. I had no choice but to keep the air conditioning on constantly. The location is good, though; it's very close to the subway station, making it convenient to get to Jing'an Temple, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and Yu Garden.

The hotel's location is super convenient! It's right around the corner if you take Exit 1 of Metro Line 2. There are tons of places to eat nearby, and it's just a 7-8 minute walk to the embassy for visa appointments. Zhangyuan is also only about 100 meters away. I booked a balcony room, which was spacious and didn't feel cramped at all. The decor is really modern too. There's no breakfast at the hotel, so I grabbed some Shanghai wontons nearby, and they were delicious. One suggestion I have is to add a small night light in the room. The current lighting options are either too bright no matter how you set them, or it's completely dark. I usually prefer to have a bit of light on when staying in a hotel, it makes me feel more secure.

This hotel, which has been operating for many years, was once considered a boutique establishment. I finally decided to fulfill my long-standing desire to stay here, as I wasn't driving this time. The room was quite spacious, and you could tell from the architecture and the original decor that a lot of thought went into it back in the day. To be honest, my stay left me a bit concerned. The original design has a high step between the bed and living room areas, and there's another step in the living room itself. With the dim, greenish lighting, I was constantly worried about tripping while moving around. The light switches, though innovative for their time, are now hard to figure out due to age and lack of instructions. The shower design, with its seating area, was quite thoughtful for its era. However, the shower door has no sealing strip to keep water in, and the showerhead is just mounted on a fixed holder that doesn't swivel. You literally have to hold the showerhead while showering, which was quite unexpected. The toilet seat seems to be a later replacement, and it's completely mismatched and ill-fitting. 😓😓😓 What truly baffled me was that the 'clean' towels provided on the second day had visible stains, as shown in the picture. While I'm sure they were disinfected, offering such towels to guests is simply unacceptable. It's especially frustrating that in an age where most hotels offer late check-out, I received a call reminding me about check-out just half an hour beforehand, with the excuse that many guests were checking in that day. As someone who stays in hotels over 200 days a year, I can tell you that's no excuse; it reflects a shortage of housekeeping staff and disorganized management. I will not be staying at this hotel again! As a Trip.com Black Diamond member, I stand by my review.

The hotel's location is super convenient, making it easy to get anywhere. It's only about 200m from the subway station. The staff are incredibly warm and enthusiastic! ❤️🔥 The only thing to note is that the air conditioning is very loud, with no quiet mode option. If you need a very silent environment to sleep, you might want to consider this.

I came here for my US visa appointment, and this was pretty much the closest place I could find. It's within walking distance, indeed very, very close, so I didn't need to store my luggage. There's a FamilyMart downstairs, which is super convenient. Other than that, everything else was just so-so. The TV in the room was broken, but since I was only staying one night, I didn't bother asking the front desk to fix it. I think I left my charging cable in the room, but no one contacted me, so I didn't bother trying to retrieve it.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy. It was recommended by my foreign colleagues for my business trip to Shanghai. The surrounding area is bustling, located in the core business district of Jing'an Temple, making it very convenient for subway travel, shopping, and sightseeing. The bedding in the room was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good night's rest for my business trip. I happened to be there during a typhoon with heavy rain in Shanghai, and I particularly appreciate the doorman who promptly helped with my luggage. The front desk and room service were professional and attentive. The executive lounge experience was outstanding, with excellent food. From the room window, I could enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful surroundings.

The hotel was indeed good. They called me the day before, but it felt more like a formality after I added them on WeChat. From check-in to check-out, there was no follow-up or care from them. However, after I booked the hotel and contacted them myself, Kira from Guest Relations reached out to me. She was incredibly responsible and stayed in touch with us throughout our stay, from check-in to check-out, helping us with a lot of things! The sensor light in the wardrobe was broken and stayed on constantly, which was a bit bothersome, especially at night when it affected my sleep. Also, there was an unremovable stain on the duvet cover, which they later replaced. Overall, it was pretty good.

The public areas are fantastic, with self-serve drinks, various lounge areas, and even a pool table. The room I booked wasn't large, but it had everything I needed. The staff were very enthusiastic and helpful. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The location is also very convenient, not far from the subway station. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I'm traveling alone! Highly recommended!
