Hotels in Jing'an District/West Nanjing Road, Shanghai

I booked 2 rooms. Reception was kind enough to prepare the rooms side by side so that we can take care of our parents easily. Room was clean and spacious. The centralised heater provided was also great to keep the whole room warm as my parents were afraid of the cold. Tried the breakfast buffet on one day as it was raining, food options were not bad. Downstairs leads straight to Nanjing Street shopping malls. Very convenient. Highly recommended!

The location is excellent, there are many restaurants in the area - a seven minute walk from the nearest metro. It was comfortable, cozy - a large and very comfortable room. The downside - we had to ask several times to bring us towels/clean the room. No sheets were changed.

This is my first shanghai triip, i believed the first impression of trip is very important , Miss 小夏 Xiao xia is the first person who show us smilling face and offer hand to helps carry all family luggage to rooms, Mr. 小尚 Xiao shang helps us to booking rooms and provided many useful informations , lastly Miss Iris 小徐 Xiao xu, she is the one who always help us for few days , how to booking car and so on.This hotel is very good service , let's why I remembered all their names and appreciated to them so much.🙏🥰 Besides Metropark Jichen make me feel like homes , location also very convenience , near to train station ( recommend if family , you may use app for DIDi or Taxi car ) and very happening surrounding of hotel.Lastly is breakfast , hotel breakfast must try , very delicious and you will miss it. 😋 Definitely, we will stay in this hotel again for the next shnaghai visit.😊

The location is as good as it gets — seriously. The room was quite nice too. Just a heads-up: kitchen utensils aren’t provided by default, so you’ll need to ask for them. One thing worth highlighting is the excellent service — especially from 小季, who handled my check-in. She was not only very kind and welcoming, but also exceptionally professional and clearly great at what she does. A solid stay overall!

Overall the place location is good and the hotel staff tries their best in every aspect. The only downside is that the hotel lobby and the lift corridors smells really bad. It will be good if they can invest in a scent for the whole hotel. Room wise it is good size and have basic amenities.

A great hotel tucked in the beautiful streets of Jingan District. We enjoyed our stay at Ginko and loved how it’s in the heart of everything especially when you want to visit attractions scattered all over Shanghai. You are just a didi away. The bathroom was large and well equipped and my kids loved having a bath in the tub every night. The bed was spacious enough to sleep a family of four with two young children. The breakfast at the hotel is very basic and our only call out with this property. If you want good food for the family there are quite a few restaurants close to the hotel. Ragu was a nice little Italian place for the family. There is also Orchard CRC if you want to get a quick Singaporean meal just around the corner from the hotel. There is also a lot Cafes around the property if you want your caffeine fix. Just walk around and explore.

Amazing! Would definitely stay again. Room was clean and everything is new. I requested a room on a higher floor with a nice view and they accommodated our request. Also one extremely nice gimmick was the room service robot that brings you take out whenever you order! Looking forward to staying here next time as well!

HOTEL BREAKFAST NOT RECOMMENDED This has been my third time at this hotel, and it was always a pleasant stay. This was my first time however to try the breakfast, which was a deeply disappointing experience. Western breakfast options are practically non-existent, even though it is stated as such on the hotel's page. Seating space is small compared to the number of guests. Breakfast service staff is slow and seems completely disinterested. The breakfast area is far from clean. Staff starts clearing away the food already 30 minutes before the actual end of breakfast service. When I brought up with the hotel after the first day that we would like to cancel the breakfast due to the fact that we are not satisfied with it, they declined this option and directed us to the booking intermediary. When raising this with Trip.com, the hotel also declined the cancellation of breakfast through them also. I find it completely ridiculous that such a large hotel does not allow you to cancel a breakfast booking when you bring up the lack of quality options. If I ever end up staying at this hotel again, I would NEVER go for the breakfast booking.

OH MY GOODNESS!! This hotel is life win.. since we arrive the staff is very friendly greeting me & my friend make us feel good after long flights, 🫶 THE CHECK IN WAS VERY FAST AND SMOOTH🧡 🫶THE COFFE : the coffe machine was very good, every morning I have coffee that boosts my day, I will buy the same machine for my hotel too so my guests could be happy like me. 🧡🧡 one night we have party and we come back with our coat smell cigarettes so badly, I am try to look for dry clean laundry and the owner help us to the max but can only get it done until 3days we couldn’t do that as I need my coat, so he help us to get it done at hotel and he charges us FREE 🙈🙏🙏 🧡🇨🇳 the cleaners hotel room in Shang hai! I 💛💛every action the staff and the owner done is 100/10 help us a lots with taxi booking, laundry, sightseeing information, I will definitely comeback again and I highly recommended! 🙏🙏 THANK YOU TRUE GO HOTEL SHANGHAI, you all made my first trip to China experience unforgettable 🙏

A very pleasant stay and friendly reception. The hotel is a bit out of the buzzing vibe of the city and we mostly had to use Didi’s to get around. Overall a very good experience and I will certainly book again.
