This hotel offers excellent value for money. The hairdryer was great, the room was clean, and the soundproofing and blackout curtains were superb. Breakfast was plentiful. The front desk staff, in particular, were incredibly warm, patient, and always had a smile, making us feel very welcome and at home. There are plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby, and a children's hospital is right next door.

The front desk service was excellent. I was very satisfied with my stay. The facilities are relatively new, and the children's area next to the front desk, though small, is fully equipped with everything. The mini-games were quite stress-relieving. We received fruit and drinks upon check-in. The room was spacious and the design was very cozy. It was clear that most of the breakfast items were freshly prepared with very few pre-made foods. The price of 88 (RMB) was very reasonable. Overall, great value for money.

Holiday Inn Shanghai Pudong is a great value-for-money hotel! The hotel staff are all very warm and hospitable. A big thank you to Mr. Zhang at the front desk for patiently answering an elderly person's inquiry over the phone and making a note, and to Ms. Min at the front desk for her swift check-in process and for enthusiastically contacting the swimming pool so we could enjoy a swim in the morning. The guest rooms are clean, tidy, and well-equipped. Kudos to Ms. Kong, the housekeeping attendant, and the lady who delivered bottled water in the evening – both were very professional and efficient. The hotel coffee shop has an elegant ambiance, a rich variety of delicious dishes, and a special shout-out to Manager Zhang for his exceptional service and arrangements. The indoor heated pool has crystal clear water, and a big thank you to the front desk lady at the pool for her warm hospitality!

This appears to be an older hotel though maintenance was done to keep things running and clean. It is in a good location in the city for our planned activities. There was ease of access and I liked that the facility had laundry self service available on site 24 hours per day. The laundry access was the most important because I traveled light and I went in August when it was the hottest and most humid time in Shanghai. Staff were professional and greeter at the door helped with opening and closing car doors and getting luggage out of car. Hotel lobby was well lit and spacious and comfortable. My parents with my sisters got a room with a broken bathroom door and non-working phone. Once staff were informed, they were quick to move them to a different room. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to fully explore the hotel and utilize the gym and swimming pool. The hotel room I had was comfortable with everything working. It was well lit and the AC system functioned very well. The only thing I did not like was the smoke smell in the hallways. Smoking cigarettes is a huge problem in China and of course the hotel has no control over this. However they can implement better air filtration and cleaning systems as many travelers may be asthmatic or have strong allergic sensitivity to the smoke particles.

Facilities: Fully equipped, including both a washing machine and a dryer. Hygiene: Spotlessly clean and comfortable, ensuring a worry-free stay. Environment: Elegant and cozy surroundings with convenient transportation. Highly recommend, as there are supermarkets, commercial centers, and plazas nearby. Service: Excellent service attitude, warm and meticulous! The Gubei Golden Bridge Apita supermarket and mall, with its Japanese cuisine and anime theme, offers incredibly warm, thoughtful, and polite service. There are tons of coffee shops, and the hotel breakfast is varied and plentiful. Many expats and Japanese guests stay here. It's my preferred choice for business trips due to its proximity to my company. The housekeeping staff are warm and friendly, and the front desk staff are professional and have an excellent service attitude. Our Japanese clients all love this hotel. The front desk staff seamlessly switch between Japanese and English. A big thank you to MAX and Mr. Richard for their enthusiastic help. See you next time!

The room was great. It was clean and tidy, and the location was convenient for getting around. The service was also very good, and it's close to both the high-speed train station and the airport. I'll definitely recommend it to friends for their next stay. My only minor complaint is that there was no breakfast included; it would have been even better if the price had covered breakfast.

I booked this hotel for my sisters visiting from abroad, as it's an international establishment. They were very pleased with their stay; both the facilities and service were excellent. This will definitely be our preferred hotel for all future visits. The hotel is located in a bustling area of the old town, with street food and shopping right outside, making it incredibly convenient.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Shanghai Greenland was absolutely fantastic, definitely a five-star experience! First off, the location is excellent, with convenient transportation and plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. As soon as I entered the lobby, I was impressed by the spacious and bright environment and the warm service. Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient, and they even upgraded my room, which was a lovely touch. The room itself was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was well-equipped with plenty of hot water, which was perfect for washing away the day's fatigue. I especially want to commend the breakfast; the variety was impressive, with both Chinese and Western options. The freshly cooked noodles and mini wontons were absolutely delicious and a great way to start the day. The cantilevered infinity pool on the 24th floor is nearly 100 meters high, extending beyond the main building. With large transparent glass panels on the bottom and sides, you can look directly down at the traffic and Kangqiao streetscape while swimming, feeling like you're flying in the air. It's a truly exhilarating experience for the brave!

We only stayed for one night because we had an early appointment in Children’s medical center . We arrived late so didn’t want to change the room , although the next morning the front desk told us they could have changed the room. Perhaps we should’ve done it , the room we booked was the cheapest yet the “cheapest” room cost us 450 yuan on trip com but it was worth no more than 200. The room was very very simple and it stink of cigarette smoke. But the worse part, as we discovered in the morning , apparently it had lots of mosquitoes because my baby was bitten 100 times during night that affected his sleep and his face looked like a horror movie in the morning. Three days later we are still trying to cure his mosquito bites . We didn’t take the breakfast so can’t comment on that. Location was good.

This stay was absolutely fantastic, and I especially want to commend Tina at the front desk! We were so lucky to catch the ”Surprise Journey” event. Tina thoughtfully upgraded us to a suite for free and even included breakfast and flowers 💐 – the attention to detail was perfect! She provided smiling service throughout, always professional and efficient, making a business trip feel like a vacation. Excellent service is truly the soul of a hotel, and employees like her deserve huge recognition and praise!
