The iconic resort is perfectly located, within a 10 minute walk to Old Scottsdale shops and restaurants. The property is vast and well maintained. The recently updated rooms are large, comfortable, clean and well stocked. The pool grounds are fantastic and well staffed, offering bar, food service and ice water accessible to all guests. A relaxing massage made the stay extra special. The staff are friendly, accommodating and attentive to guests. Maegan at the front desk was super sweet, helpful and made sure that all of our requests were taken care of. Overall this was a perfect 4 day getaway.
The property is 5 Diamonds in every way. Location central to all of Scottsdale. Grounds are beautiful and the housekeeping staff is excellent. All appointments in the spacious rooms are premium down to the leather box for the TV remote. We ate breakfasts in the Ironwood Grill and the food and service were 4 star. Best of all, the service and friendly staff elevated this resort to top level. This was the first time at the Princess; it won't be our last.

I see Monte every morning when I get my car and head out to work. He’s always super pleasant to talk to and helps me out whenever I need it. I see a lot of people in my travels and he’s always struck me as someone who cares and is willing to go the extra mile. Thank you, Monte!
Second year in a row I stayed here. Totally wonderful place. The grounds are immaculate, the landscaping gorgeous, the restaurant excellent, and all the staff welcoming and friendly. Also like the gym, how you can easily from the premises hike Pinnacle Peak, Like any 5 star resort you pay the price...and here you get what you pay for.
We stayed here for six nights in early October as part of a vacation to Arizona where we saw the Arizona Cardinals-Cincinnati Bengals NFL game and also took a day trip to see the Grand Canyon/Sedona/Oak Creek Canyon. This hotel — and the staff — might have been the best we've encountered on a U.S. vacation. The pool was big and wonderfully refreshing (highs were 97-99 degrees while we were there), and plenty of towels were available at the pool every day. There was a restroom next to the pool (we've stayed at places where this isn't the case, and it's incredibly inconvenient). The hot tub and fitness center were near the pool and looked nice, but we didn't use either. Our suite was big and the balcony was nice, everything worked like it was supposed to. We only ate breakfast at Agave, the on-site restaurant, but the Huevos Rancheros was beyond amazing. Hashim was our server all 3 times we ate there, and he was terrific; friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond repeatedly with his service and kindness. Ditto Jim driving the shuttle, and Dominick working the front desk when we checked in and driving the shuttle. They offer free shuttle rides (though you should tip) anywhere within a 5-mile radius. As is custom for my wife and I, we went to a grocery store nearby when we arrived to stock up on drinks, snacks, etc. Jim helped bring the groceries up to our third-floor room, and he and Dominick offered plenty of tips and helped whenever possible. We are Marriott Bonvoy members, and that came in especially handy on this trip. In addition to using points to pay for the stay (we still had to pay sales tax & a daily resort fee), we received a daily $30 restaurant credit & free bottled water whenever we wanted it. The landscaping was solid (plenty of palm trees, which I love) and cactus plants throughout. The setting, with the McDowell Mountains to the east and TPC Scottsdale right next door, was good as well. There really isn't anywhere you can go (restaurants, shopping, etc.) within walking distance, so either rely on the shuttle, drive and pay the $20/day parking fee (we opted not to) or Uber/Lyft everywhere. The parking fee kinda stinks because the location really doesn't call for it unless TPC is hosting an event. Finally, housekeeping was really, really good (daily service, which is increasingly rare) and the rooms, furniture, and bedding were all clean and in good shape. Just an incredible experience from start to finish. When/if we have reason to visit the area again, we'll definitely stay here, and I'd highly recommend this place to anyone staying the Phoenix area for any reason.
This is my second time at this Hotel with my family. The staff provided excellent service and were very courteous upon arrival and with any questions I had. The room was clean and large. It has been updated nicely with granite and tiled shower, and nice furnishings. As with most Embassy Suites, there is a sitting tv area with fridge, sink, microwave, and small dining table. I had a pool and mountain view, which was nice. I didn't use the pool, but families appeared to enjoy it. There's really nice sectional seating with fire pits next to the pool, which would be great when it gets cooler. I enjoyed the evening reception which was better than the 1st time. Due to covid restrictions being lifted, they provided light snacks, such as cheeses, veggies, chips, and a few dips. There is a two drink limit per person, and it's free. The morning breakfast is always a nice perk and very good. I gave this hotel four stars only because it is an older hotel, but it's still very charming. I definitely will be back again.

Outstanding
Nice modern, quiet property. We moved here after a bad experience in the Old Town area of Scottsdale and although a ways away from the shopping and dining areas of central Scottsdale, it offers a quiet, comfortable stay. Only downside during this stay is almost every food item wasn’t available - apparently they are changing the menu. Not really acceptable because there are no other restaurants nearby without driving. We wanted a light dinner without leaving the hotel. Plenty of on street parking if you don’t want to pay for parking.
Have just spent nearly 2 weeks in this hotel and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were very clean with everything you would need and the pool area was also well kept and was never too busy and had pleasant background music. Thank you to Breanna the Manager for her assistance with a few minor issues we had at the beginning of our stay. The hotel restaurant The Desert Pony was excellent, we had a delicious breakfast there every morning. All the team are great! Special thanks to our server’s Naja & Alan who looked after us so well!
A colleague and I popped over from the Courtyard property that is adjacent. We had dinner and drinks. Terrific food, and even better service. Alan was top notch on service and suggestions on what to get. Will definitely be back!! If you’re considering this property it’s a great choice, and be sure to go see Alan for great food, drinks, and service!
AAilinI am used to great hospitality, I am from Malaysia, but staff from Comfort Inn exceeded our expectation. They went above and beyond regular service when they had to evacuate our things while we're still conferencing. The care and mindfulness of their housekeeping staff was truly commendable. Thank you most sincerely.
GGuest UserIf you want to be degraded, discriminated and practically kicked out of your room for having a service animal, stay here..Holiday Inn, and the GH Keton(which of whom i have been trying to get a hold of him all week, with NO luck) should be ashamed how they let Wayne(the front office manager) speak and treat guests. Im sure I wasnt the first and wont be the last, as long as they keep allowing him. Checked in December 10th around 10:30pm, I told clerk that I had a service animal and he said ”OK No Problem”.. We decided to go get dinner before going into the room, came back around 11:15 and when I was walking into the hotel Wayne stops me with a pinch of attitude and a unmannerly tone and says ”Can I help you?Oh wait, is that a service animal?” I said ”Yes” then he proceeds to ask ”hold on right here, i need to check in my system if there is note of that” (after a lot of typing) he proceeds to tell me ”there is nothing in the system, but why is your dog a service animal?” I said ”I suffer from severe anxiety, I do have a his paperwork” he then bitingly asks me ”what does he do for you, that you so need a service animal?” I said, I provided paperwork to the clerk when checking in, I also called the hotel prior to completing the reservation asking them if they took Service animals, and they said Yes”. He said ”we legally cannot see any paperwork provided, and I have been trained to handle these type of situations but it comes out to, YOU can stay here but not the DOG, seems what you have is a PET not a Service Animal”(like if he knew or if he was a doctor). After Wayne proudly waived at me his very used and revised ADA papers over and over again, He said my Dog couldn't stay with me and he said he wouldn't allow me back in, I proceeded to tell him that I wasn't going to be paying for a room HE wasn't allowing me to stay in, he said I was still going to be responsible for the room I never even stepped a foot in. I am an IHG member, and this experience was nothing but discusting, humiliating and discriminating. Mind you it was 50° and it was 11:15PM, I had to find another hotel room! Other guests did try to intervine and told Wayne what he was doing was against the law, asking me all those specifics, he proudly once again flagged his revised ADA papers and argued with other guests as well. Wayne lacked empathy and it seems he lost his costumer service skill and has been allowed to treat others with disrespect..
TTanya HThe breakfast was so fresh and delicious! The scrambled eggs were wonderful (not from a powdered mix) and there was yummy homemade coffee cake. The staff working the breakfast room were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. What a great start to the day! We were VERY impressed.
GGuest UserThis is our go to place for our annual staycation during the summer. It's a wonderful resort. They have wonderful pools. They also have an ”adult only” pool if you want to relax away from the kiddos. To add to our wonderful experience was the Bird Man from Liberty Wildlife. On the 4th of July he had Aurora, a huge beautiful female bald eagle. You are able to take a picture with Aurora and as she is lifted up behind you she spreads her gorgeous wings! On other days he might have a hawk or an owl. The live band in the pm was fun too! The picture I posted here of the Bird Man is from Google. The eagle he is with is beautiful, but not Aurora. 💜
HORRIBLE PLACE, even worse staff. Working in a hotel should be for people who are friendly and kind, that extends to the people they work with. I stayed here, and while I was walking one evening outside my room I noticed a housekeeping worker sitting alone past midnight on a small little golf cart. She was distressed and almost crying, when I asked what was wrong she said she had left her car key locked in the workers office and the staff and security guard refused to help her, she had no money for an Uber no family to come get her. She said she’s a mother has small kids, and all I could think of is what kind of establishment treats people like that? Or is it just housekeeping workers get treated that way? The front desk staff was rude and condescending, like you’re bothering them by asking them questions. They think being a front desk receptionist means they get to be rude to everyone else and pretentious. If this is the way this establishment treats its workers then it’s a very good reflection of how they run it and I will not ever be staying here again, I will not recommend it and I hope they get some kind of lawsuit for treating their workers like scum.
GGuest UserThe staff was very friendly the rooms were clean and they were very accommodating I was very fortunate to be able to be helped by Katie at the front desk she was very accommodating when I requested a room with a hot tub because previous night they were not available. And a bonus I was right next to the pool. Definitely will come back!
