"One of My Best Stay Experiences—Authentic & Unforgettable This was one of my most memorable hotel stays, and I’ve stayed at many top-tier, five-star hotels around the world. While this may not be the most luxurious in terms of facilities, it more than makes up for it with its genuine charm and warmth. The owner was incredibly friendly, making us feel like we were staying at a friend’s home rather than a hotel. This welcoming vibe perfectly complements the enchanting atmosphere of this beautiful ancient city.   The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially from our top-floor room. The owner went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience, offering a spectacular panorama of the old town and surrounding mountains. The location is ideal—perched on a small hill, it provides an elevated vantage point for those stunning views, though the short uphill walk may be a slight effort due to the altitude. But trust me, it’s worth it.   If you’re visiting Lijiang to immerse yourself in its relaxed beauty and rich culture, there’s no better place to stay. I originally booked for three nights but quickly realized I’d need more time—next visit, I’m planning a full week to truly unwind and soak it all in. This isn’t a place to rush; it’s a place to slow down, savor the moment, and let the magic of Lijiang embrace you.   I can’t wait to return."

"I absolutely loved the guesthouse's overall decor and ambiance, especially their charming little garden. It was incredibly relaxing to just sit there and sip tea. As for cleanliness, the 'Ayi' (cleaning lady) tidied up every day. The rooms even came with a humidifier and an air purifier – such thoughtful touches! Big thumbs up 👍🏻. Xiao Lu and Long Ge were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They not only assisted us in planning our itinerary but also recommended amazing local eateries. They even enthusiastically invited us to a bar to hang out – so much fun! 😂 And last but certainly not least, out of all my past accommodation experiences, their breakfast was hands down the best I've ever had! Seriously, my main motivation to wake up early every morning was to enjoy the delicious rice noodles prepared by the 'Ayi'! I stayed for several days and happily ate it every single morning, haha. Oh, and their pickled radishes are also incredibly tasty! The breakfast is clearly made with so much care and offers a great variety. If you're visiting, you absolutely *must* try their breakfast."

"A belated review. This hotel is located near Shuhe Ancient Town, about a ten-minute walk away. It's next to the Pullman Hotel and offers a very quiet and peaceful environment. As for the hotel facilities, I personally think the owner is quite thoughtful and is striving to emulate the tastes of first-tier brands. Therefore, the hotel is unlike many newer hotels these days. However, times change, and it seems that the high-cost amenities of international brands are being surpassed by the latest domestic alternatives (which are still new, just not as high-tech as many hotels today). This may have been unexpected at first. I still admire the hotel's design. The courtyard is stunning. Cleanliness and comfort are quite acceptable. The service is also very pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for those who seek a quiet retreat after a busy day. Waking up in the morning and quietly sipping tea in the courtyard is such a delight."

"Our stay at this hotel was the highlight of our Yunnan trip, thanks to the incredible staff. We were warmly welcomed with afternoon snacks and genuine care. The scenery from our hotel room was spectacular! The service was truly thoughtful as well. The staff asked about our itinerary and offered excellent recommendations for local food and attractions. When they found out we were going to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Tiger Leaping Gorge, they went the extra mile and prepared a bag of snacks for us to help prevent altitude sickness. This kind of personal attention is rare and so appreciated. It's a wonderful place to stay where you will definitely feel the warmth and hospitality. We felt completely at home and would recommend it to anyone!"

First of all, this place is located on the outskirts of Lijiang Old Town. It is a bit far away from the core area of ​​the ancient city, but it can be reached quickly on foot. The transportation is very convenient. You can also take a taxi not far from home, and the car can be parked at the door. It is also convenient to eat in the surrounding area. Lijiang A must-choice place to enjoy slow life. Secondly, the overall decoration of the room is combined with local characteristics. It is both ethnic and modern. The sound insulation effect is okay. The bedding is of high quality and feels good to the touch. It is comfortable to lie down and sleep well. It is quite suitable for insomniacs like me. friendly. In addition, the viewing platform on the top floor is very large and equipped with all kinds of photo props. It is the first choice for those who like to take photos. It is very good for filming! You can also have afternoon tea here and enjoy the slow life in Lijiang. The small courtyard with blue sky and white clouds is beautiful! Overall, I am very satisfied with this inn. The only drawback is that I have to drag my luggage for a while from the intersection. The unique stone road in the ancient city is really a test for the trolley suitcases. It makes people feel distressed. If the hotel can provide a shuttle bus, Picked up at the intersection, that would be great. I hope the store will consider it. "I was in for a surprise when I realized this hotel was located in the mountain. There is a pick-up/drop-off point at the top of the hill. It takes about 3-5 minutes walk down to the hotel. The hotel manager helped us with the luggage during check-in/out. To get to the ancient town, it’s about 10 minutes walk down. Along the way you will pass by other beautiful sceneries before arriving at a side street of the bar street in the ancient town. The rooms are a bit run down due to humidity, but it’s very spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a Very serene vibe. Very relaxing. I’m happy we stayed at this hotel, and would recommend fellow travelers (who don’t mind to hike a little) to stay here too!"

"A beautiful home away from home, with owners who are kind and truly care. I was blown away by the beauty and service here. We stayed with our family with two children. The gardens are so well maintained and you can also see lots of goldfish swimming which is very peaceful. They clean every day for you and have laundry services available. The owners are around and are very friendly. Comfortable beds and very well laid out rooms. We stayed in multiple room options as we upgraded for the second half of our stay."

"It’s a nice hotel that provides quite spacious and comfortable rooms. There was a round bed in my room and I really enjoyed this experience. The room was clean and fresh. The shower room was large and the there was everything I needed in the room, like a kettle, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, hair dryer, bathrobe and the like. There’s no tee or coffee in the room so you can bring it with you. I would recommend this hotel for solo travelers and couples. It’s very nice. The staff is also friendly and helpful."

"For vegetarian friend, this is the place. They provided a vegetarian breakfast set meal too. There is half cut boiled egg, for those who doesn't take egg, please check with them. On top of that there is also complimentary afternoon tea. Night time you can enjoy the traditional ******* Butter Tea (Su You Cha) and experience how to make Zanba (roasted highland qingke barley flour), very relaxing session to end your night. They have a guitar there for your to play! Clean room, complete amenities, complimentary toiletries, good hairdryer, nothing to comment about. Good service, due to there being no lift, the staff helped us to carry our luggage. The staff very friendly and helpful to guide us how to buy tickets to Yun Shan Ping, they also helped us to collect nearby parcels to the hotel. The biggest attraction for me is the Yu Long snow mountain view on their top level. Love the view there For animal lovers, they have two very cute little furry dogs (7 months white dog and 2 months brown alaskan malamute) that you can play with and one white cat (the cat is inside a cat house). We, four of us stayed there early Nov 2025. Definitely will return to this place on our next visit to Li Jiang again."
