The only thing I have to criticize is the check-out process. I understood that check-out was at 12:00, but the staff called 10 minutes beforehand, which I found confusing and didn't like feeling pressured. When I checked the app later, I saw that check-out was actually at 11:00 AM, but the staff didn't clearly communicate the check-out time. A small improvement here would be great; everything else was good."

Satun bus terminal and Big C Supermarket are both 2.9 km away but in different directions. Do note no Grab or ride hailing available in Satun..."

"The experience wasn't great. The hotel is located at Sunrise Beach, and all the rooms are in this wooden cabin style. The facilities are extremely old. When I first checked in, the floor felt dirty, and the mosquito screens on the doors were broken, leading to a huge number of mosquitoes inside. After staying there for a few days, my body was covered in red rashes from mosquito bites. It's clear that the mosquito control is inadequate, and they don't even provide mosquito coils; you have to buy them yourself. I found it very mediocre and not worth the price. The hotel breakfast was very basic with limited choices. Also, the bathroom was as large as the room, which was a strange design and quite useless without a bathtub. The tap water had a strong odor, and initially, turbid water would come out. I really don't think it's worth the price. It was very poor, and the air conditioning made a lot of noise at night, significantly disturbing my sleep. Overall, it was not good at all, and I won't stay at this hotel again. During my four-night stay, they didn't change the sheets or duvet covers when cleaning, and the toiletries provided were also very poor."

"Host was very warm and welcoming us when we arrived. We enjoyed our stay even only for 1 night. They provide water dispenser which is very convenient. Some games card and physical were also provided and my kids love to play them. It makes them occupied than attached to their gadget. The bed is soooo comfy. We really love this villa and will book this villa when we plan to go to Satun again. Thank you 🥰"

"We had a very nice stay at The Gleam Resort. The resort is quiet, clean, and very comfortable. The room was spacious and the bed was good for a restful sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The swimming pool area was well maintained and relaxing. Overall, it’s a peaceful place to stay in Satun. I would come back again. "The location might be a bit difficult and far to get to (it's best to use the island's taxi service, which costs 50฿/person per trip, regardless of distance), but you get a lot of privacy, which I liked. It's peaceful and not chaotic. I found geckos and millipedes in the room area (I'm not scared or bothered by them, just mentioning it for other guests who might feel uncomfortable if they encounter them). I mentioned wanting to go kayaking, but I think it was after the rain, so there was no staff to assist me there. I carried the kayak down from storage myself and picked out the paddle and life jacket. For these reasons, I'm giving a 4/5. However, the staff were lovely and very friendly. Thank you for taking care of us! ☺️"

"The deluxe villas are extremely small with no wardrobe to keep your clothes. The water pressure in the shower was very low hence showering was a bit challenging. Breakfast was good with various selection. All in all for the price we paid we can’t really complain . The spa was great, best massages we got while in koh lipe."

"Located on Sunset Beach, this hotel is clean and tidy, and the front desk staff are warm and proactive. It was a very comfortable night. Getting around is a bit inconvenient, but since all trips on the island cost the same, it's not really an issue. Overall, I recommend staying here."

"A very cozy hotel with delicious breakfasts and a gorgeous sea. One of the photos shows the path from the furthest room to the sea. I docked a star for the cleaning service because on the day of check-out, I came back to my room at 10:30 AM!!! New linens were already on the chair outside my room, and the door was completely open. There was no cleaner nearby, meaning anyone could have walked in and taken money and documents. Nothing was stolen, but I wasn't happy about it. Otherwise, the hotel is super, and I would return."

"The location was good, by the pier and walking street, staff was very friendly. The cons were a construction, it is low season and they enjoy to do renovations, so there was a balsa in front of the hotel most of the days, the pool area was partially covered due the construction and lots of noise through out the day. It seems they were open partially, the restaurant area was not working and seemed to be like a deposit, messy for the only common area that is beach front. I would not stay there again and totally search for other hotels with breakfast included and with a better infrastructure, for almost the same price."
