I was really impressed with The October Villa. We stayed in Villa 2, which had a large pool and unobstructed sea views. The bed was incredibly comfortable! You can watch the sunset and go kayaking at the hotel. Even though it's on Sunset Beach, you can walk to Sunrise Beach during low tide, which is super convenient! Every day from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, the hotel offers a complimentary ride to the commercial street for dinner. The hotel breakfast was excellent, and it's à la carte, so you can order whatever you like. The staff were truly wonderful and so enthusiastic. It happened to be my birthday when we arrived, and my friend mentioned it to the hotel, who then surprised me with a small cake!

We had a very lovely time at Casa de Lipe. We even got engaged here so we will certainly be coming back. Pros: The staff are the loveliest people on Planet Earth No loud music at any time, very quiet Sensational food and service, very smiley staff ready to help with anything Private beach is a real bonus The setting is fabulous. Among the rainforest and with the sound of the sea rocking you to sleep Epic sunsets Great breakfasts Cons (being really picky): The air con unit in our room was a bit loud The pool in our room (honeymoon villa) was a little bit smaller than I expected The decor could be updated We’ll be coming back here time and time again for sure. Thank you Casa de Lipe for making our time on Koh Lipe very memorable!

My stay at the Mountain Resort in Koh Lipe was truly an unforgettable experience! Our room was an absolute dream, featuring postcard-perfect ocean views of Koh Lipe that I will surely never forget. What really made this stay so special was the incredible staff. They were exceptionally good and attentive, treating us with a unique blend of respect and genuine affection that made us feel so welcome. The resort's amenities are also fantastic and very convenient. There is a shuttle bus service that takes you up and down the hill, running every 15 minutes during the afternoons, which made getting around effortless. Down at the beach, they have incredibly comfortable hammocks that are absolutely perfect for relaxing by the sea. I cannot recommend this resort enough. An absolutely wonderful experience!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this resort! We stayed in the Tree Pool Villa, and it was absolutely perfect for our child. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and surrounded by lush tropical greenery, which made the whole experience feel peaceful and relaxing. We loved all the amenities the resort has to offer. The complimentary tuk-tuk shuttle service to the walking street was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the area. We also treated ourselves to the spa, and it was one of the highlights of our stay—very relaxing and definitely worth it. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, with a great variety of delicious options to choose from. Our favorite was definitely the noodle station! The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. One thing that really impressed us was the bathroom—it was almost as large as the bedroom and felt luxurious. The resort’s beachfront location was another major highlight. Our child had so much fun kayaking and snorkeling in the clear water. If you’re staying here, I also highly recommend renting a boat to visit and hike the island directly opposite the resort. The scenery is breathtaking, and it’s an experience you shouldn’t miss. Overall, we had an amazing family vacation and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing tropical getaway!

Absolutely loved our stay at Mali Resort Sunrise Beach! 🌴✨ The location is perfect, right by the beautiful Sunrise Beach, with stunning views and an amazing island atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, while the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The resort is also conveniently located near restaurants, shops, and walking street, making it easy to explore Koh Lipe. Waking up to the beautiful beach and enjoying the peaceful surroundings was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. 🌊☀️ Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Koh Lipe. This hotel was truly excellent and left us with wonderful memories. One of the front desk staff even spoke Chinese! The rooms have a lovely Thai-style decor, with very large beds and spacious bathrooms. The air conditioning was wonderfully cool. We booked a room with a view, and the location was perfect, offering expansive scenery. It's less than a minute's walk to the beach. The hotel breakfast was decent; not overly lavish, but it had everything you'd expect and was perfectly acceptable. Perhaps because it was off-season, they didn't prepare as much. There are many restaurants right outside the hotel, which was very convenient. The hotel's surroundings are simply beautiful.

I really enjoyed our stay jt was low season so nice and quiet but still a good atmosphere. Rooms were comfortable, we booked two but could have managed with one room with a 9 and 12 year old. Everything worked , the internet was decent. Gardens and greenery lovely spot. Breakfast was fairly standard for this type of accommodation. Nice fresh fruit eggs, bacon, pancakes , waffles and Asian options, eaten with a nice view of the sea. Location at end of beach but close to walking street. We tended to walk to North point and get a taxi scooter back for 50b. Food on island was good. Coffee from tugboat needs a mention. Island overall is beautiful and has a really nice vibe at present hopefully it doesn't get over developed. North point is a lovely area which still has it's natural beauty.

Staff friendly and very responsive to guest needs Location wise it's very near to sunrise beach and proximity to the popular walking street Cleanliness not top notch, encounter 2 night critters in the room though it's not a large one. Room amenities basic. The water pressure and lighting in the room can be better..

The guy in picture one will pick you up at the pier, and the guy in picture two is a resort staff member. The resort uses a password lock for its doors, and the interior decor is very popular with Chinese guests! It's about 160 per person. 1. Excellent privacy, far from the bustling pedestrian streets of the island. It's quiet with few people, creating a relaxed atmosphere. 2. Directly facing crystal-clear waters and a small beach. The public pool and lounge areas are very well maintained, and the service is attentive. 3. Overall, it's not crowded at all, making it comfortable whether you want to relax or go snorkeling. Right in front of the resort, there are 4-5 Nemo spots. It feels amazing to just see Nemo without spending money! Downsides: You can't rent motorbikes on the entire island; only sidecar taxis are available, costing 50T per person. The roads are bumpy and uneven, making it difficult to walk with luggage. It's recommended to take a taxi in and out. The road to the resort involves uphill and downhill sections. Aya is perfect for those who want a quiet, relaxing vacation and dislike crowds.

The position of the bungalows are right on sunrise Beach. We had bungalow number three which is on the beach from and perfect every morning. I don’t think I would want to stay in any other bungalows past the first two rows they’re basic but sufficient and we had a great stay here. There are lots of boats, but it really isn’t a problem. Easy to walk to walk straight probably 10 to 15 minutes. The breakfast was basic but sufficient I would stay here again.
